Cinnamony red hots coated with red rooibos. No additional sweetener needed.
enjoying cinnamon so much lately :) this is a nice treat
This tea has a wonderful cinnamon aroma and a deep, beautiful red hue. The scent alone made me enjoy my first cup...but the taste is wonderful as well! The blend of cinnamon and rooibos makes for a relaxing and interesting blend of tastes. Crisp apple...warm cinnamon...and a bit of a sweet finish. Love it!
5/9/2021 - Still love this tea! Lovely sweet cinnamon aroma and taste!
A daring cinnamon flavored tea with the accelerator down! If you’re not a cinnamon fan then you might want to hop out quick. The red rooibos tea base is fairly subdued in this tea so if you’re not a rooibos fan then cinnamon has you covered. An apple flavor is part of the flavor profile too and blossoms more as the tea cools. Along with a very mild woody taste from the rooibos tea base there is a bit of an appley tang at the finish. An 8 oz. resteep was milder in cinnamon flavor and more appley in taste so the flavors seemed to have flipped flopped in the two steeps for me.
There was 3 g/ 2 tsp of red rooibos tea with 5 apple pieces in the CT packet today with a heavy scent of cinnamon. I brewed 12 oz at 208F for 5 min. in my IngeniTEA and the dark red liquor had an aroma and first taste of cinnamon. I could sip plain but I used a touch of honey to calm the cinnamon taste a bit and brighten the apple flavor which came through more as the tea cooled. I chilled a bit of the sweetened tea and after tasting it cold I decided I preferred this blend hot.
I liked this tea and was surprised how well cinnamon and apple paired with red rooibos. I thought the cinnamon’s stringent earthy flavor complimented the natural woody sweetness of rooibos and the touch of apple flavor gave the blend a pleasant sweet tang. The reds have it today - red rooibos, red apple and red hot cinnamon make a great spicy tea. Add some red roses and Happy Mother's Day today!
I didn't really vibe out with the flavors of this one. The entire time i was like this smells like something used to eat as a kid. I let my dad smell it and my older brother too. We all came to the conclusion that it was red hots candy in liquid form.
There is a strong aroma of cinnamon coming from the CommuniTea packet, and this steeps into a lovely rusty orange color. This tea is CINNAMON on overdrive - seriously, this is in your face cinnamon! Wow - the cinnamon is strong with this one! And so sweet - this does not need any sweetener - at all. I like cinnamon, so I find this delicious, especially for Mother’s Day. I add some heavy whipping cream, which reduces the spice a bit, but this tea tastes better plain. Would make a great ice tea, as well. Love that it has zero caffeine. (5 mins @ 212ºF).
Adagio could place this in fandom tin and slap a picture of red hots it and would need no other description.
That’s what this smelled and tasted like to me.
If I had been served this I would have said someone melted red hots and serves it to me! 😂
Preface this that I do not like red rooibos and it's presence overpowered everything else. Too much cinnamon too.
This is a super cinnamon tasting and smelling tea. To me, it tastes less like a tea and more like a cider with it's apple taste and heavy cinnamon smell. It's quite sweet, and would be a good desert tea or something to stake a sweet tooth late at night.
I love cinnamon, red rooibos and chai so of course I love this blend! There is no need for sweetener either.
I decided to ice this because I have a bad history with chai. We just don’t get along. After steeping for 5 min, I added milk and some sugar and put it in the fridge. The result was a very nice drink. It kind of reminded me of apple cider so I’m wondering if I should have just mass it hot as I probably would have liked it just as much. I think for once the Apple and cinnamon over powered and the rooibos and in this case, thats a very good thing!
Set out your best dainty China on your best doilies and your tiny little cucumber on a pretty plate because you're about to have an everyday, run-the-mill tea.
PSYCH.
This isnt your grandma's tea. That is evident from your first sniff of this blend. The Cinnamon (yes, cinnamon with a capital C, because a lowercase c won't do) will blow your mind from moment one. It is like sticking your nose in a bag of Red Hots. This strong cinnamon aroma sticks around through brewing, but a hint of apple comes shining through also. I could smell only a hint of the rooibos base.
Get ready for a mouthful of Cinnamon hot lava, my friends, because that is exactly how this tea could be described. It is like drinking Atomic Fire Balls and I loved every second. There's also a hint of apple that turns the brew into a candied apple in a mug.
My stomach is going to die a little tonight but this tea is absolutely worth the hours I'll spend in agony after ingesting this spicy goodness. Try this one for yourself, especially if you love a good spicy tea. ❤
We have a crisis!; Who can flavor this tea blend?; Super Cinnamon!
Super Cinnamon; Swooping in, raining spice down; He will save the day! (Haiku Review)
Great tasting tea would purchase again. I highly recommend this tea for your enjoyment.
Nice strong cinnamon that balances well with the Rubio's flavoring. Enjoyed this tea very much over the colder days last month
This is a cinnamon punch in the face, whenever I have friends smell it I always warn them first. Has great flavor too
This had a red hot candy cinnamon flavor. It blends really well with the rooibos. I really like this one.
I adore this tea. The cinnamon runs deep but it really is the perfect amount. Goes great with some honey. I like this as an evening tea. Will totally be buying this one regularly.
Absolutely love it! Bold cinnamon flavor. A morning favorite.
The cinnamon was entirely too much and I'm someone that loves cinnamon. I agree with another reviewer that it definitely has the scented pinecone thing going on. I do not like this one bit.
Love this tea. It's a pretty intense but sweet cinnamon flavor that I really enjoy in the evenings. I also like to mix it with Rooibos Cinnamon Apple as that one is a bit light on flavor for my taste.
A lot of cheaper bagged cinnamon tea tastes a lot like the Fireball whisky and can become nearly undrinkable after a certain steeping point. Adding the rooibos and chai to assist the boldness of the cinnamon is a wise move and allows for a more flexible steep window. Definitely will be repurchasing this one.
Solid night time tea. My wife enjoys this too and she does not like tea.
I love chai teas, and am always glad for a caffeine-free option. This one might have gone a bit too into the cinnamon, at the expense of other spices, but it was still enjoyable to me.
It’s really good to me, but I do like to be able to taste the cinnamon in drinks and dishes.
I am normally not a rooibos fan, but I really love chai tea and cinnamon. So I was on the fence about ordering this tea. I do like a dash of cinnamon in my black coffee and in a glass of merlot wine on occasion because it enhances and adds an unexpected complexity to both drinks. So I gave it a go. I am so glad I did! Pure ambrosia! No need to add anything sweet, the apple enhances and sweetens the tea in a wonderful way. Of course, cinnamon and apple almost always go well together, in my opinion.
I love this tea! I was hooked at first sip. The flavour is deep and interesting and always hits the spot. It is rich and spicy and deep. It is a very fun take on Chai
full flavored, the cinnamon adds a warm feeling and the rooibos as always is tasty.
I didn't like this originally but post-covid, cinnamon was one of the first things I got back and now it's jumped up in my estimation. It's much better mixed with a little rooibus hazelnut.
Oh my goodness, this is a hug in a cup. The cinnamon isn't overpowering whatsoever, it's a perfect balance. I have discovered that drinking a cup of this while eating vanilla ice cream is a very wonderful way to end the night! 10/10 would recommend to a friend, however you need a diffuser with teeny holes as there are a lot of small pieces in there.
Perfect blend of spicy chai and soothing cinnamon! This is my morning go-to!
Cinnamon was slightly artificial tasting to me, like cinnamon candy. The chai flavors and rooibos are very nice, it's just not as high on my list as some other rooibos from Adagio. I love cinnamon , but not as much the cinnamon 'red hot' flavor.
This is one of my fiancée’s favorite teas. She loves chais and she gets headaches a lot so I recommended this to her and it is easily one of her favorites, especially if she wants a spicier tea.
So smooth sweet with just the right hint of cinnamon
This is my go to tea, it’s warm cinnamon taste will warm your and relax you
This tea is really really cinnamony. I have to add it to other teas to tone it down a bit.
Very fragrant!. Nice warming tea. Just be careful not to over steep it or it gets a bit of a kick. LOL
This tea was very naturally sweet. Not a complaint! The cinnamon flavor is definitely there; but it is not 'too much' as other cinnamon chai's I have had, which can be nauseating how much cinnamon is present. Overall, a good tea. I only tried this as a hot latte, and not iced, not sure how it would be iced
I love this tea! It's super cinnamon-flavored and it tastes comforting with a splash of milk.
Oh boy! A new favorite for sure! This is probably the best cinnamon tea I have ever had. I like Rooibos for its smoothness and the cinnamon is perfect. I could drink this all day. If you like cinnamon, this is the tea for you!
It’s naturally sweet but almost too much so. The cinnamon tastes like cinnamon candy instead of real cinnamon.
Love this! Have it every night before bed, calms me and helps me sleep better.
Love this tea on a cold day! Clears up a stuffy nose in a heartbeat too. Very delicious!
I love cinnamon! I mean I really love cinnamon! I enjoyed this tea, especially when I added it to the masala chai I also bought. I wish it had even more cinnamon though! The only downfall is that the second brew doesn’t taste like cinnamon.
This is my favorite rooibus. All elements of the fruit and spices come though. Due to the volume of tea in the Sample packet, I wondered if the '1 teaspoon per cup' was correct. I use 2 heaping teaspoons now which I later found in another review.
The flavor is strong but not overwhelming. I absolutely love the spicy cinnamon flavor, and there’s no bad aftertaste! The apple bits add that hint of citrus that sends it over the top.
Such a rich flavor! Great chai mix. I didn't try it cold but I bet it would be great iced as well!
Not what I expected. Was okay though. I have not finished the bag.
I like a cinnamon drink like spiced apple cider to warm things up in winter time. Tried this one but while good it needed something more.. Mixed with Raja oolong chia at 1:2 ratio and added sugar. Nice and warming. Tried with no sugar and even better as i really don't want the extra sugar. Not spiced apple cider, no more. This is what I need to get thru Minnesota winters. Highly recommend this 'blend'.
The cinnamon in this reminded me strongly of Big Red gum. It was very overwhelming. I love a spicy tea, but this was too much of one flavor.
