Not quite as great as some of the other chais, but a great caffeine free option to enjoy before going to bed. @adagioteas
Our Cinnamon Rooibos Chai takes the heat of cinnamon and balances it beautifully with the natural smooth, mellow quality of the rooibos.

Not quite as great as some of the other chais, but a great caffeine free option to enjoy before going to bed. @adagioteas
Yum! Perfect tea for those who love spicy cinnamon.
Very much so enjoying this blend. Good sweetness and cinnamon flavors.
This is one of the best caffeine free chai options out there! Cinnamon-y sweet and full of other yummy spices this is a great dessert tea. Or if you’re watching your caffeine intake this is lovely any time!
I love this tea! The cinnamon makes it so warm and spicy, but it is nicely complimented by the sweetness of the rooibos.
What a great flavor. It is now one of my favorite teas and being caffeine free it is great for an evening latte
Yum! If you like Extra cinnamon in your chai and it s caffeine free, then this tea is for you. Perfect anytime for cinnamon lovers. I tried both was with and without milk and I used adagio whipped cinnamon honey. With all the spices, i really couldn t taste the rooibos. DELICIOUS!!! @adagioteas
This tea is a surprise hit for me. Sometimes cinnamon can be too much, but this is just right.
Drinking this tea is like drinking a warm cup of cinnamon. I love it! I'll add this tea to my auto delivery order.
Love the smell when you open the bag, and the taste is great too
Love, love, love. The cinnamon is so warming. I also wasn't expecting it to be so sweet, but it was well-received.
This chai pairs the nutty smoothness of rooibos perfectly with the warm spice of cinnamon. It makes for a chai that is slightly sweet, but still spicy enough to warm you up on a cold day! @adagioteas
This is a good chai tea if you don’t want caffeine. I like adding a Little Rock sugar and half and half. @adagioteas
Right away the cinnamon can be smelled. You can drink it without adding anything too as it is already wonderfully sweet.
I like to add a little bit of the chocolate black tea just to add a hint of bitterness, but it really is great when you just need something warm to relax with.
OH my goodness! I love this tea. It's cinnamon-y. It's spicey. It's got me in the mood to start my holiday baking. I will be buying more of this tea.
This tea reminds me of an apple cider with a strong cinnamon kick to it. I've drank it hot without any added sweetener as the tea is quite sweet on it's own without being overpowering. A great tea for fall or winter evenings.
I hate to say 'bad', I'm sure it's a fine tea, just not to my palate. The smell of the brewed tea was off-putting to me.
Unforgettable flavor and smell. Good as a hot tea for fall/winter.
I loved this, to me it tasted just like red hots candy. I will definitely be ordering again.
I love rooibos tea, and this is no exception. This will be my fall favorite
I haven't met a chai from Adagio that I haven't loved yet. This is no exception .
This one had great bold flavor. I like my tea extra dark, so I brewed a few minutes extra. I sweeten with a teaspoon of agave. Perfect cup!
So I used to get this tea from David's Tea. Needless to say, I've found a new place to get it from - delicious!
I ordered the wrong tea, but was not disappointed. It is very flavorful and I would purchase it again
Love cinnamon and drinking this is so cozy and comforting, especially with a splash of milk and a touch of honey!
I love it. It's like drinking an apple pie. It's one of my new favorites.
I love a good cinnamon rooibos chai!! This is so relaxing and yummy! A great sweet treat and very good as a hot toddy ;)
Strong on the cinnamon, light on the chai. It's ok, but I really like the rooibos pecan turtle or vanilla chai better.
Very good, It had a really cinnamony flavor that I really enjoyed.
Really wanted to like this one, but this is the only rooibos tea I've had where I've understood the 'medicinal taste' complaint rooibos often gets. Even as a cinnamon lover, this is too much for me. All the other spices get completely lost during steeping.
I heart cinnamon and so love, love this tea. If you put this in a cup strainer where the bits can float around you can get the full effect. I add milk just to make my GI tract happier.
This is an absolute favorite with the whipped cinnamon honey then add a tiny bit of vanilla almond milk and you’ve got a great bedtime treat!! Or anytime!!
Oh my, this tastes just like melted red hots. It's become my favorite. It's more cinnamon than chai, but in a good way. It's spicy in the mouth yet mild in the tummy. It tastes exactly like red hots candy. It's the best tea I've ever had.
Yummy! Just the right cinnamon addition to an already great rooibos Chai.
Outstanding Cinnamon chai. I was not sure what to expect since I'm not a huge fan of Red Rooibos, but this was very good. There is a hint of the red hots candy with the cinnamon, but it doesn't taste artificial like that. My wife, who is not a huge fan of cinnamon, loved it, especially with a splash of milk in it. She kept commenting on how much more she liked it than she thought she would. This is definitely a keeper in our Chai rotation.
Wow, what a cinnamon chai flavor. Really reminds me of a nice cinnamon chai!
Today's packet smelled like cinnamon candy, with a pleasant spicy hint. Popping it in the VelociTEA maker and hitting the herbal tea button helped to easily steep this one at 212ºF for 7 minutes while I made some snacks.
The first sip was brimming with cinnamon candy flavor. Cinnamon spice was present throughout the body of this rooibos cup, but it wasn't as spicy as RedHot or cinnamon bear candies. In fact, it was also mildly naturally sweet from the apple pieces. Rooibos flavors were subdued and played a supporting role in the background behind the cinnamon. This tisane is an excellent accompaniment to dessert, with the mild cinnamon and sweet apple flavors. A very nicely done blend!
The aroma from this blend smells like a fiery hot cinnamon candy. But the taste is sweet! The rooibos makes a rich, sweet base with a strong cinnamon flavor added. The cinnamon doesn't taste fiery like the smell, just full-flavored.
Disclaimer: I don't like red rooibos. This tasted like strong, sweet cinnamon water with a cough drop dissolved in it. (Reviewed through CommuniTEA; 5 min @ 212F)
The tea is very spicy, with a natural sweetness and a rich savory undertone. Without cream, it tastes a little funky, but fortunately the apple pieces are few enough that it will not make the tea acidic enough to curdle milk or creamers. An ideal blend for a chai latte!
This tea is surprisingly sweet, which was kind of nice! The rooibos was not too strong. Overall, not bad, but I wouldn't ask for another cup. Not my favorite.
I wanted to love this tea, I really did, but I did not find it very much like a chai tea, it was too unbalanced and the taste was overly cinnamon. Also, I am not a huge red rooibos fan, I found the combination of the woodiness along with the cinnamon did not allow for anything else. I wish this had more spice to it, it needed something more...
Red rooibos. I always dread when I see the ingredient on my communitea packet. To me, it always tastes medicinal. Well, almost always because this tea has proven me wrong. The intensity of the cinnamon is enough to mask the typical rooibos taste. I don't know if my packet had less cinnamon than everyone else's or if my 3 minute brew time toned it down, but it was not as molten Red Hots as everyone else said theirs was. It was, however, still quite candylike! I was surprised at how sweet it was. Taking several people's advice, I made my second steep a latte. The milk helps to tame the cinnamon, but also cuts the natural sweetness. Added a splash of maple syrup to bring it back and WOW. It was almost like a horchata or rice pudding. I can't believe I'm giving a rooibos 5 stars, but here we are. Thanks communitea for broadening my horizons!
I HATE Rooibos. So much. This tea however has enough spices to blend the rooibos flavor out and its a very nice spicy tea!
Today's CommuniTea packet is cinnamon rooibos chai, with rooibos tea, cinnamon, apple pieces, spicy cinnamon flavor & safflower, and once again I'm amazed how differently we all react to the teas. A number of people said in chat that, that while they didn't normally like rooibos, they did like this. Cool, maybe I will too! On opening the packet, you could see the rooibos, but its scent was masked by the cinnamon. So far so good! I added water, waited a second and took a sniff. Hmmm, I don't know, starting to smell rooibos... As the tea brewed, the cinnamon mellowed and the rooibos became more evident. Some people undoubtedly would welcome this. It's a very red brew, and, hmmm, sort of like candied apples? On tasting it, candied apples was the foremost taste, but with a definite rooibos aftertaste. I tried cutting it with some turmeric chai that I'd brewed, and it helped, but a tea I have to dilute by half just to finish the cup probably isn't a keeper. Sigh. Note: I'm not a rooibos fan, you may love it. :-) (Brewed in 14 ounces of 210°F water for 3 minutes.)
I wouldn't call this a chai, but the apple and cinnamon reminds me of a warm apple pie.
Strong cinnamon flavor, and an almost fruitiness from the rooibos. Not bad.
This is a good rooibos based on the balancing act played by the spices included in the blend. The rooibos itself isn't too wet mud-y like I typically tend to find it and actually fits pretty well into this blend. Oh, and you really don't need to use two teaspoons. I only tried one but honestly feel like two might actually be overkill.
Wow! This tea doesn't need the caffeine because that Cinnamon is in your face!!! I don't taste anything but spicy Cinnamon and it's very tasty. I added honey and vegan cream to help slow down the burn. It's very good this way. Not something I would ever probably brew or buy on my own but happy to try a new tea. I love chais but this isn't a chai, honestly I didn't even get a hint of roobios just think, big red gum, red hot candy that's what this tea is like.
Normally I’m not a fan of cinnamon forward teas, but this has a natural sweetness that just balances out the strength of the cinnamon without being too cloying. Glad I gave this once a chance!
