The chocolate flavor is very light. The tea definitely has warm notes. I like this tea in the colder months, Dr me it replaces the want for hot chocolate.
Exotic Masala Chai flavors from India paired with dark chocolate. Soothing cocoa, zesty warmth, seamless texture.

The chocolate flavor is very light. The tea definitely has warm notes. I like this tea in the colder months, Dr me it replaces the want for hot chocolate.
I first tried this tea in a Black Butler Fandom blend called Undertaker, made by Grell Sutcliff, and it was awesome! Now that I have tried this tea by itself, it is still just as good. :)
Excellent desert tea. Good both with and without milk, hot or cold
The chocolate and chai flavored mix so well together.
CHOCOLATE LOVERS PAY ATTENTION!!! One of the best chai's I've ever had! Paired with maple syrup or honey and cream made it something I craved every morning, despite what breakfast was!
I really enjoy this tea. Great flavor for a dessert tea.
Chocolate and chai oh my! What a great blend of flavors. I enjoy this tea mixed with milk and sugar and it reminds me of a hot cup of cocoa!
Great new take on Chai! As a chocoholic, I am always looking for more ways to get more chocolate in my body. This one is guilt free too!
Subtle chocolate taste. Pretty good but I prefer the masala chai. I like this one mixed with hazelnut flavor as well.
Let me preface by saying, I got this as a free sample with my order and I'm not usually a fan of chai's, so I didn't have any expectations for this tea. It's not bad, and the chocolate flavors are very subtle so if you are looking for a strong chocolate flavor, look elsewhere. I did enjoy it for what it was though.
loved it! the smell of chocolate was rich, i added a hint of cream and lightly sweetend this is my favorit tea of all
I love chocolate, I love chai, so I figured this was the ticket, but I found it had a bitter taste.
This tea is absolutely lovely. How can it not be when it combines my love of chocolate with my love of chai tea? It's great as a dessert tea or whenever you crave chocolate. I add a dash of vanilla almond milk and a bit of honey and it's pure goodness.
not bad, but definitely needs a bit of cream added to it. Not as chocolatey as I had hoped, but decent.
This tea has a flavor similar to gummy cola bottles (the kind made in Germany). I like this tea and will buy it again.
Our fav of the household!
Man, I love this tea. It smells wonderful and has a strong taste to back it up. I haven't tried putting anything in it yet, but I bet it would taste even better that way. Make sure you drink it while it's still hot. I'm usually fine with most teas if they cool down, but this one got really gross when I forgot about it.
I'm not a chai person, but this is one of my mother's favorite teas!
Hooked by the first sip! It's got a full bodied taste with a really great ginger burn. My tongue was tingling after the first taste for about 5 minutes. Loved it!
Who doesn't love chocolate chai? This is a very nice blend, and one I'm always happy to reach for.
This has a very nice flavor. It's a little spicy. Not one I would drink every day, but still good!
I really like this tea! A perfect blend of chocolate and spices. Even better with a little mile and sugar!
In the bag, it mostly smells like cinnamon with a chocolate background. Once I brew it, I taste a spicy sweetness without a definite focus. It's just delicious without any outstanding notes. I don't mind, because it tastes so good that I want to have a second cup. Good desert substitute.
Perfect for a nice afternoon tea. Nicely spiced and the chocolate gives it that special kick.
I was worried this would be super chocolatey and not much like tea, but it was fine! That said, it does not have the strong spice and flavour I expected from a chai. It would be better labelled as a chocolate black tea or chocolate tea, so 4 stars for that. But it is quite good. I would purchase it again, but I would not describe it as chai to someone, so that they wouldn't expect a chocolate-added masala chai.
I guess down deep I'm really just not a chai fan. I need to stay away since it always seems to leave an aftertaste in my mouth. There was nothing really chocolaty here.
A great dessert tea! Not a favorite, but it is a nice change occasionally.
Pretty good. I haven't added milk to it but I bet that would taste better.
An amazing chai flavor combo!! The chocolate really shows up in the flavor and adds that little extra for when craving something sweeter!!
I like Chai tea so I tried a sample of this. It was good and I have no complaints but don't think I will buy it again. Maybe after another try it will grow on me.
It has an overwhelmingly strong smell of chai, but it tastes pretty good.
I absolutely love chocolate, but I abhor chocolate flavored things. And this tasted very chocolate flavored. It tasted artificial, like it was flavored by someone who only knows what chocolate is by rough description. I also don't care for chocolate teas. They never seem to work for me. And the chai spices didn't marry well with the chocolate flavoring. Overall this tea was very disappointing, but I expected that. Thankfully it was a gift and not something I would have ordered on my own.
a really enjoyable afternoon tea. I wish the chocolate was a bit stronger, but I would def buy this one again.
I love chai and I love chocolate! This tea has a very smooth mellow taste. I sometimes add a little milk.
I loved this tea! I bought it to experiment with making Chocolate Chai Lattes and found that it works great for that! I also found that I like drinking it plain as well. I've never found a spiced tea that I liked plain before!
This is my favorite chai flavor! Just the right amount of chocolate and spice.
Strong flavors, strong aroma, strong cinnamon, #strongtea
Love this tea! It has a nice flavor and is a wonderful alternative to sugary snacks.
What can I say? Not too chocolate-y and not so heavy with other spices that you cannot taste the rich chocolate flavor. Never before have I had a tea that felt velvety in my mouth. Although this tea contains caffeine, I found it very relaxing. Just lovely for sipping in front of the fireplace.
This is super good. robust chai with chocolate overtone. yum
I love the strong taste of cinnamon with a hint of chocolate
After trying the chai sampler, I found this to be one of my two favorites. I enjoy the subtle chocolate flavor.
Delicious chai. The cocoa helps smooth out and balance the 'sharpness' of the spices (in particular cinnamon). Will definitely order again.
My go-to breakfast tea, this is an absolutely delicious tea with plenty of spicy under-notes.
Very good tea with a good flavor, I will order this again.
Very tasty! Much milder flavor than the aroma would suggest.
One of my favorite chais from adagio. I do add a bit of cocoa powder (1-2 teaspoons of it) because I can't really taste the chocolate in here. Then again, you could just get any chai and then add some chocolate. Spice and chocolate always go wonderfully :)
I wanted to love this tea, but it was a bit of a disappointment. I don't think there is such thing as a bad tea from Adagio, so this is still a very enjoyable tea. just not what I was expecting. The chai spices are pretty strong and the chocolate is a bit too mild.
This is my favorite chocolate chai! It's wonderful to unwind with after a long day of work.
I didn't know if I'd like chai that much, but it's great! with or without milk/cream, it's just enough chocolate to tease, and the spice of the chai is rather refreshing.
