Chocolate Chai = WIN! Two of my favorite flavors makes for a great morning :)
I usually am not a fan of the added chocolate-flavor in the tea blends, but I was pleasantly surprised by how mellow it is here. I think the contrast with the chai spices makes for a lovely warm/cozy cup, though it's not an everyday one for me.
This is a flavorful chai that doesn’t need any sweetening! Add a little milk, and enjoy the chocolate and spice combination.
Love this tea...starting from it s smell and moving on to it s taste. The smell is very similar to the smell of cherry chocolate and the taste is warm, soothing and chocolaty...
The chocolate is definitely overpowered by the chia flavoring. Overall, not a bad cup of tea
Delicious dark chai, no sweetness to it at all, which means you have maximal control over that flavor profile by adding sugar or not. With a splash of milk and a little amber or turbinado sugar, this is a cup of tea that reads as dessert.
This is a great one when you’re craving something sweet with low guilt. I’m a fan and definitely enjoy it.
Mmm chocolate Chai. I get my chocolate fix without all the calories. Wonderful on those cold days where you want a little spice with chocolate.
I love, love, love this tea. Not only to during straight but also as a base for smoothies. I wish this one came in decaf
Yummy and amazing. Fabulous with steamed milk and a sugar cube
Great with just a bit of milk added to it. I would suggest brewing weaker than 2 heaping tps per cup though.
This chai has a warm, subtle character. The chocolate and spices blend well, working together rather than against each other. I've only had this black, but suspect that a touch of sugar would bring it the chocolate more. It's a bit like a lighter version of Mexican hot chocolate. So nice on a cold night.
Is it possible to be in love with a tea? If so, this is the one!! Just the perfect amount of chocolate and the perfect combination of flavors.
Great chocolate flavor to fulfill my afternoon chocolate cravings. The Chai base blends in well to the background to give a fullness and complexity to the flavor. Definitely going to be a cupboard regular.
Great tea, spicy and chocolatey and great for cold mornings. I sweetened with sugar and added a little milk for a rich treat. The leaves and flavors are even strong enough to handle a second brewing!
I love chai. And this chai is no exception! I add a little milk and a tiny pinch of sugar and it is just perfect.
This tea is my favorite to mix with others to get that hint of chocolate that I crave!
As someone who doesn't much enjoy chocolate-y teas, this wasn't too bad. The spices from the chai were what completed it.
I have had other brands of Chocolate Chai, nothing compares to this one. Smooth relaxing evening tea!!
Oh my, chocolate without the calories! This tea is truly a desert!
This is not what I expected when I saw the words 'chocolate chai.' It's not super chocolatey, nor is it very spicy. That being said, once I let go of how I thought it would taste based on the name I discovered a very warm, homey spiced drink which is perfect with a bit of milk. Would definitely recommend, just drink without preconceived bias!
I'm reading these reviews, and I'm getting the vibe that a lot of people didn't love this tea as much as I did. Of course everyone's opinion is valid, but I thought this tea was amazing. I got it in the mail as a free sample and I ended up ordering more. I personally didn't think the chai aspect of it was very pronounced, it was mostly a chocolate tea but that's what I liked about it honestly I'm not even a big fan of chai.
if you like chai you will love this one with chocolate flavor
Good as a dessert tea, not as tasty as I had hoped.
Not bad, but I wish the chocolate flavor was a little more prominent, however, it s still a very enjoyable cup of chai tea if I overlook that. Might just stir in a spoonful of chocolate syrup in place of sugar to fix that lol.
Nice Chocolate flavor (even little chocolate chips). Tastes great with the traditional chai flavor
Good smooth flavor, and I certainly enjoy it with honey and cream!
The chocolate flavor tastes a little like coffee shop syrup but not bad
Delicious. The right amount of chocolate and spice
If you're disappointed with the detergent-like smell of other companies' 'chocolate' teas, give this one a try. The chocolate doesn't smell fake, and the spices are mellow and warm, holding their own without overpowering the chocolate. I first ordered this for my wedding three years ago, and it continues to be one of my favorites.
I love Chai and love the chocolatly flavor this tea has
The flavor was very light in taste, almost bland.
Fabulous! An earthier chai. As close as tea can get too coffee with no bitterness or coffee flavor. Very warm flavor and winter/ fall like. Will definitely order again
The harshness of the spice is rounded out very well with the hints of chocolate.
First I had it hot, and I liked it, but not as much as I expected.
Decided to make it iced and really like it! Nice spicy chocolate flavor!
I love the masala chai tea, and I'm also really into chocolate teas, so I had to try this one. It was not as good as I'd hoped it would be though. Which is too bad, because I bought a large bag of it. It helps if you add milk.
Wonderful fall tea. I blend it with a bit of early grey moonlight for more complexity, but it s delicious and fully flavored on it s own as well. The chocolate makes it quite enjoyable on it s own even without milk.
This is my husband s favorite morning pick-me-up. Perfectly blended and smooth.
I had this delicious tea in apple cider! It is an amazing combo to dip into fall!
Has a hint of caramel taste and a little too sweet for me.
This tea is phenomenal; it smells earthy and spicy at the same time, but not gingery-cinammony, more like good pipe tobacco.
Absolutely delicious! Tastes more like desert than tea, even unsweetened. Adding milk is a must. It's not my favorite chai personally, but it definitely has a time and place and I would absolutely recommend it.
Different. Not as good as other types of chai or chocolate teas, but still worth trying and drinking.
Great Tea, a nice blend of Chocolate and Chai spices, they compliment each other, not overly chocolate and not overwhelming spice. Great on a cold day!
I absolutely loved this tea. It is one of my favorites to date.
Great flavor, perfect for cold fall days on the porch
This chai is just okay, I didn t really get any chocolate taste what so ever, and it just didn t taste right to me.
Pretty good tea with a sophisticated taste. I had to add a little sugar
I order this tea from here a lot, just to be sure I always have some on hand. It's lovely, sweet and spiced; just an all-around good daytime tea. I like it sweetened and with milk, but it's also just good on it's own.
Two words: So. Good. I just tried this one this morning and the blend of flavors is divine. The chocolate is so nice, and it's all just warm and comforting. I had mine with a little sugar and I will repeat: so. good.
The first hit off the bag is a lot like smelling Canfields chocolate soda! I only used the regular heaped tsp, so I know why they want you to double it (more flavor since it's mixed with cinnamon flavoring, too). Still very good.
