I bought this because I remember being a big fan a few years ago. Trying it again now, I have no idea why I ever liked it. It’s bitter and dry, with a lingering aftertaste. I tried several different steeping methods, but it never got much better.

I had to try it of course, and it was good but won't be a staple in our tea collection. We will be ordering more traditional Chai blends in the future, but the sample was a lot of fun.
I wish this had hints of vanilla to sweeten it. The chai wasn't very spicy, and the chocolate used was cocoa nibs so it was quite bitter.

This is a great chocolate tea. I love to drink it in the morning when I'm craving something more sweet. I personally don't add any sugar to it. I think it has some sweetness to it, but it's not overwhelming.
UPDATE: This tea has changed. This one had been a staple for me for a while, and I was buying it by the pound. However, it now has that strange, artificial cinnamon flavor that pushed me away from other chai blends in the past. We compared it to an older batch we had purchased, and they're definitely not the same, which is a huge disappointment.
I was a bit let down by this one. It felt a little too much like a 'bonfire' taste, which wasn't what i was expecting. It was interesting, and tasty, but not my cup of tea (ba dum tss)

A decadent treat when mixed with sweetened condensed milk. Tea comes through up front, then warm cinnamon and ginger with a dark chocolate finish. Still searching for my perfect chai, but I did enjoy this one. It smells amazing!

Mainly used this to mix the the chai mate flavor tea to give it a little bit of chocolate flavor and it increased the chai flavor quite a bit. Enjoyable chai tea whether mixing with another or as a stand alone tea.

This tea was so good. I got a sample when I had purchased other tea. All the flavors come together. Nice chocolate flavor and the spices of the chai really add to the flavor.

What could go wrong with chai and chocolate? And yet the two flavors just didn’t go together. It wasn’t very “chocolatey” to me.
Not for me. The chocolate flavor is only mild. I've had other chocolate teas that had a stronger, richer chocolatey taste - AND, as I'm beginning to realize seems to be the case with the Adagio teas - at least to my taste, the cinnamon is too strong. Thankfully Adagio offers those $2-$3 sample packs. I'm glad I tried this, and also glad that I didn't spend much money on it. Others my enjoy this more than I did. This tea is OK, but I won't be buying it again.
Very nice chai - chocolate flavor is not overly strong and cinnamon is prominent.
This is my favorite tea of all time. I love chocolate teas and I love chai teas. Together they are a perfect pair. I add milk and honey.

A fine cup of tea, with a nice mixture of the spice of cinnamon and the sweetness of chocolate.
The first sip of this tea made me immediately want to down vote, but reading the ingredients I couldn't understand why I wouldn't like it... So I kept sipping and eventually added a splash of milk. I definitely enjoyed this more as it cooled down. As it cooled off the ginger flavor was not as prominent and the chocolate and cinnamon was really enhanced. I think I would have enjoyed it more without the ginger. Ginger and chocolate doesn't seem like a good combo to me.
Received as a community sample. Worked well as a dessert tea. The cinnamon and spices are stronger than the chocolate, though the cocoa nibs do add more of a mellow, rounded flavour to this one.
Got this as a community sample and I’m just not a fan of this at all. I can’t quite pinpoint what I felt this tasted like but it didn’t taste anything like chocolate and that’s fine I just didn’t personally care for this blend.

This is a greag chai tea! I alwaya try my comuni-Tea before looking to see what it is and i knew right away that it was a chai, but the chocolate just sets it off.
Used my sample right up, brew strong and add milk & stevia. Its good but like a pure strong chocolate or cream black tea to make chai, better than with the added ginger that is in this one. Its good tho.
The flavors blend so well together- so tasty that my husband stole my cup from me! He’s the chai lover, and he absolutely made over it.

i love this one, i actually have it already so i knew what i was expecting today, it really good the tea is light enough to allow the chocolate taste to up front. its not a very strong chai but it is full of delicious flavor.
The subtle chocolate flavor is just perfect for after dinner. Skip the dessert, and have this tea instead.
I like chai tea and I like chocolate tea, though I'm not sure this blend is my 'cup of tea.' I feel that my steep came out a bit thin in the flavor, even though I steeped it for 3mins. The chai sizzle is there in the aftermath, but the chocolate isn't particularly pervasive. I prefer the chocolate chai pu reh, personally.
I liked it better than other chais. I wish there was more chocolate in it but is mostly tasted ginger.
