This was very tasty. It smelled wonderful when I opened the packet. Hot and lightly sweetened the pineapple flavor was the strongest. As it cooled the coconut became more apparent. I will have to try it cold as I bet it would make a great iced tea.
Delicate white tea from China with tropical coconuts and pineapple. Relaxing and delightfully simple sweet.

For me the scent out of the bag was heavenly. light & fruity, a wonderful low cal pina colada, as long as you love coconut & pineapple. coconut and pineapple seem to be very divisive flavors. I personally enjoyed this Tea. Added a little sweetener & cream to enhance flavors already there. Cream adds to the pina colada smoothness. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA August box.
I really liked this one. Wasn't sure about the pineapple--nice aroma in packet and in the cup. Really liked the flavor and think I'll try it iced. I will be buying this!
This tea had a very strong taste, in addition to the coconut that I couldn’t place and wasn’t sure about it till I tried it iced. It was ok cold but I think it would even be better with some chunks of pineapple in it!
White teas are usually so light I can't have them, but this one was pretty good. Very coconut forward, but the fruits round it out nicely.
Part of the August 2020 CommuniTEA box. How refreshing! Pina colada with a little breeze wafting by.
Wonderful smell in the bag I brewed it longer. And the color deepened and was a lovely amber Color.i added a wee bit of stevia. And it punched the pineapple and coconut. Wow. Shuck a delightful drink. I could sill ok it all day. 5 💗’s for sure 💗💗💗💗💗
I definitely tasted both the pineapple and coconut. It’s not my favorite but it wasn’t bad at all! Try with vanilla syrup and it tastes more like a piña colada.
This is basically coconut with a hint of pineapple and tea.
If you love coconut, it's great. If not, not so much.
This tea is very coconut forward. I don't mind coconut but I don't think I like it combined with white tea. If you like Pina Coladas (haha) then you will definitely like this tea. I drank it iced with a little sugar.
This blend brings me to a sunny beach. Lovely tropical aroma. Delicate and smooth...not bitter. The flavor of coconut and pineapple come thru for me. I enjoyed it hot, but I bet it would be wonderful iced, too.
This tea is amazing iced. Fruity with a lot of coconut flavor.
Love the coconut in this. It's not quite 'juicy', but it is 'tropical', and brewed the proper amount of time it's a really good summer tea.
This is my favorite “everyday” tea. I highly recommend it.
I love pins colodas, but not the work involved and can't have artificial pineapple. If I add sugar, this captures the taste well.
The scent definitely packs a bigger punch than the taste - when I opened the CommuniTEA pouch my first thought was 'if you like pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain'. The taste is much more subdued, but you get pineapple in the first sip, and coconut in the aftertaste. I don't think I'd order it myself, but it is a great summertime tea.
I've had white tropics on my wish list for a while now, so I was happy to get a preview as my 'August 23nd' (?!) communiTEA sample. The smell in the bag was heavenly, and the tea itself was delicate and floral, with the pineapple, coconut, and rose flavors playing together beautifully with the mild white tea grounding them all. I tried adding a drop of liquid sucralose, but as with many fruity white teas, I found that actually, I preferred the unsweetened cup. This one's definitely going in my order next month!
I am usually a fan of white tea but I didn’t love this one. It was just okay to me.
Nice light white tea, quite complex flavor profile. The initial sip I immediately tasted the coconut, but the pineapple flavor came from behind and lingered.
Sweetened with white sugar and steeped at 175 degrees for 4 min. Drank as a warm tea.
A delight! Light and refreshing. Lots of tropical coconut and pineapple flavor.
This tea is delicious. Very light and fruity and fresh.
This tea is WAY more pina colada than the tea advertised as pina colada. It’s so good! Very coconutty and lots of flavor! Yum!!
A very delicious tea, just as the mane suggests, its like a trip to the tropics. Lovely.
Pineapple is the main dry fragrance. I think this tea would be amazing chilled. Hot, it has a pleasant depth of flavors and makes for a lovely break time tea.
I think I am the only one taken aback buy the aroma of the tea in the bag. That said once brewed I got the feeling I wanted, as I was transported to a tropical island! When I took my first sip I was transported to my childhood , when I would eat Lifesavers! With a little sugar added this tea reminded me of the white lifesavers you would find in the multi roll! I really enjoyed this as a hot tea. But because we are in the middle of a heat wave and it is already hot at 7 am. I decided to pour my hot tea over ice. The only down side to this tea is I do not have more!
I love that I could really smell the pineapple and coconut. The flavour isn’t overpowering. Overall quite enjoyable
I don't generally like white teas because I find them bland, personally, but this one is actually really flavorful! It just happens to be more strongly coconut-flavored, which isn't really my thing. If I liked coconut, though, I would definitely give this five stars
This white tea smells amazing. The flavor is mild and summery.
The odds were stacked against this tea. I’m not a huge fan of white tea, I like bolder teas, and I can’t stand coconut. I didn’t hate this tea. There was only a slight taste of coconut. I won’t buy this one but would probably say yes if offered a cup.
No thanks, not my cup of tea. I like coconut, but this tea has an upleasant bitter finish.
Relaxing, tropical taste. It's all the pineapple and coconut flavor of a summery drink with the warm comfort of a cup of tea.
Nope. Still not a fan of coconut. I think it’s the smell. Reminds me too much of suntan lotion since growing up in south Florida.
I find most White Tea blends too earl for my palate, but this one has a great tropical taste! I did add some sweetener to pull more of tropical taste out. If you are a fan of Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain, this one won’t disappoint!
Nice piña colada aromas were noted coming from the bag. When hot, mild pineapple and coconut flavors were noted. When warm, very delicate and slightly sweet white tea tastes were noted. A wee bit of sugar was added at this point to bring other flavors forward. The pineapple and coconut flavors were then moderate and blended smoothly with the tea. Overall floral aftertastes were noted at the end. A very interesting and slight peppery zing was present on the palate throughout. I could almost hear the sounds of the surf on the beach. This was a very relaxing and tropical sip. BTW ... also makes a nice second steep! (4 mins @ 175°F, 1/8 tsp sugar)
I was able to taste both the pineapple and the coconut in that order. Started out tasting the pineapple and ended with the coconut flavor.
Nice and refreshing fruity tea; not my favorite but it was definitely good!
I want a huge fan of this tea. It had a weird aftertaste...
This is my favorite tea for summer. I feel like I am on an island at the beach with the subtle florals, coconut and tropical fruit flavors.
This is a delicious tropical tea. I detect some banana notes, which is a bit off-putting to me, but those who may love banana will be pleasantly surprised.
This tea was amazing and it rebrewed well. I know it is supposed to taste like pineapple and coconut. but it straight tasted like white tea and honey.
fantastic would get any time of the year just for fun.
I ordered a box of samples last week, and this is the first one my roommate and I tried. When we opened the package, he immediately said 'It smells like Bed Bath and Beyond!'
My verdict: The coconut flavor is *very* strong, and I find it overwhelms the pineapple a bit, which is rather disappointing because I adore pineapple. I was pleased that it doesn't need much sweetening.
My roommate's verdict: 'S'good.'
Update: Tried it again, and this time I made a point of shaking the sample bag beforehand so that the fruit bits would (hopefully) get distributed a little more evenly. This resulted in a slightly less overpowering coconut flavor. It's pretty good, but I'll mostly be ordering this for my roommate.
Amazing! I bought a big bag of this because it s so good iced! Coconut!!
I love this blend! It's a delicate tropical blend and pairs well with others ♥
An awesome mellow tea with bright tropical fruit notes.
This is a nice tea for summer. It’s very light to me. It’s “sunny” and “islandy”. It has a hint of pineapple with a slight background of coconut. I like it.
great flavor by far one of my favorite teas. Love the hint of coconut
A very delicious, fruity tea. It is perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up and is very refreshing.
Summer fun!!! This tea transports me to a sunny island somewhere, this is one of my favorite teas!!!
This is a nice fruity tea and I notice it has a somewhat warm, cinnamon note at the end (even though there is no cinnamon in it). Great as a cold tea but not my favorite for hot.
