CommuniTEA edit: This is stilll one of my favorite teas and it's highly recommended.
I got this tea in my first free sample packet from sharing Adagio on social media, and the fact I'm leaving this review should tell you it was good enough for me to want to purchase more of it. 8 ounces more. While that might not sound like a lot to some, it's a huge bag! It is such a wonderful, silky and subtly sweet tea that I cannot possibly endorse it enough. Wonderful to have after a day spent with an awfully upset stomach, too!

I enjoyed my CommuniTEA packet chilled today. Coconut was prominent with a light pineapple finish. The delicate white tea held her own. Happy sipping!

2021 CommuniTea update: I reviewed this tea originally in 2015. It’s been a few years since then, and as I’ve gotten older all I’ve done is become more like my father in terms of the foods I enjoy. In 2015 I hated any food that even came into contact with pineapple. Today, while you still will not see me eating pineapple or drinking pineapple juice, I have certainly softened and grown to really, really like it in teas. Pineapple seems to lend a fruity, creamy taste to tea. I especially like it in white teas, where it is allowed to shine. It is a light cup, like many white teas, but I didn’t have any issues getting flavor from my packet today. I brewed for the recommended 3 minutes at 180F in a generous 16 ounces of double filtered water. I guess I’m a fan now. Only took 6 years. :) Old review from 5-13-2015: I adore the smell of this tea but I do not care for the taste - it's probably the pineapple. I can't stand pineapple. However! I brew this tea often for my boss lady and she loves it to bits. She also enjoys pineapple so if you take her word for it you'll probably like this tea.

A lovely flavored white tea that was pineapple forward with a coconut finish. May be an effect of the single serving CommuniTea sample but I did not pick-up on the rose. Still, this tea in hand and you are ready for a peaceful day listening to waves gently lap against the shore.

Delicate pineapple coconut tea that offers a summer escape to the tropics any time of year! A tiny bit of sweetener enhances the fruit flavors. Very refreshing as an iced tea.

The delicate and light flavor of the white tea really allows the tropical fruit flavors to shine through. A perfect afternoon tea. I enjoy this one hot, but it really shines as a cold-brewed iced tea.

This is a really nice, smooth white tea with coconut and pineapple flavors blended practically seamlessly with the base white tea flavor. It tasted great hot, but it also tasted really great as it cooled. I'm sure that it would be fantastic iced.

I love a good pineapple coconut combo. I cold brewed this and enjoyed iced. If I were to make this again, I would use less water or add more tea. The taste is light, refreshing and not overpowering. Perfect for a hot day .

2nd Review: This is my second time trying this tea with the CommuniTEA. My first review said I didn’t like it. I brewed it hot and I’m guessing my first packet may have had too many rose petals. I’m not a big fan of rose, especially in hot teas. This second packet only had 3 larger petals and a few crumbles of rose. I picked out the 3 petals, left the crumbles, and cold brewed it this time. I’m enjoying this tea so much better this time. I can actually taste the coconut and pineapple now. It’s delicious and definitely more tropical than floral this time.
1st Review: Unfortunately, I didn't like this tea much. It had more of a floral taste to it than a tropical one.

The coconut and pineapple flavors tasted rather weak to me. I had this hot and iced, and it didn't seem to make much of a difference.

Very lovely easy drinking tea. Brewed as instructed, added some sweetener. This would make a wonderful iced tea. Will buy this one in the near future.

Lovely white tea and I think most white teas are just OK. CommuniTEA may be swaying my outlook on white teas though. Nice pineapple flavor with some creamy coconut hanging out to make this a nice tropical blend. No bitterness or astringency noted. Added just a wee bit of honey and this brightened the flavors a bit more. I can now taste a nice floral flavor in the background while the pineapple and coconut are still upfront. Had a small sample iced and this tea shines as an iced tea. Flavors just meld together so nice to become a great iced tea. Did not need sweetener in the iced tea. Steeped at 180º for 3 mins. Enjoy!

Light and delicate, elegant and refreshing. This blend is great cold steeped and iced. The pineapple and coconut is present but not in your face, and the white tea is a pleasant backdrop. A very nice afternoon sip!

Very refreshing. I wanted to sip this by the water. The coconut flavor was more prominent to me than the other flavors, but I didn't mind one bit. I added a touch of Stevia and it was perfect.

I always love a good white tea and this one was no exception. It was interesting idea to mix the delicate white with the tropical flavors. The prominent note I got was coconut, which lent a creamy yumminess to the brew. The pineapple was very faint. But I still loved this blend and would drink it again! Happy Sipping!

Closing my eyes, imagining being in Paradise while sipping this tea. I smell the Coconut but I taste mostly Pineapple in this White tea blend. It would be amazing either hot or cold brewed. Very smooth. Would reach for this hot on a cold winter day or a summers day cold brewed!!!

I like this one both hot and cold brewed but I might like the flavor profile better hot. Definitely gives Pina colada vibes, with some background flavor I can’t quite place.

I can't drink pineapple teas anymore, so I didn't partake of today's CommuniTEA packet. However, I've had this tea in the past at a friend's house and it was a delightfully refreshing homage to a pina colada. If you like tropical fruits and white teas, this one is a winner for sure!

Pina Colada is one of my favorite flavors. This is a nice white tea version of Pina Colada, though I prefer the herbal mocktail Pina Colada

If you like a really light tea, this one is for you. The coconut flavor came through very strongly, though the pineapple was faint. Together the flavors blended nicely to offer a tropical feeling. This one tastes better cold, allowing the fruit to shine.

The pineapple adds a light sweetness but not much pineapple flavor.

Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: strong ripe pineapple and coconut fragrance from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 minutes at 185°F, I notice a light honey colored liquid in my cup with very subtle scents of pineapple. When I take a sip, I get subtle flavors of pineapple and coconut. I don't really notice any rose fragrance, however, the white tea does bring a savory aspect to the tea that balances out the sweetness of the fruit.

I think this is a better tea hot than iced (see my review for White Tropics Iced Tea). As mentioned in my previous review, the floral mixes well with the fruit flavors. I have more taste with the hot version than its iced version.

A lovely pale yellow pineapple and coconut flavored tea. Rose petals lend a subtle softness to the pineapple/coconut duo while the white tea base adds a perfect heft to anchor the fruity flavors leaving a slight floral almost grape like flavor in the aftertaste. A Sweetener add helped the coconut flavor to come forward more in the hot tea and the coconut taste became fully blossomed and stronger when the tea was chilled. This makes a delicious iced tea.
My Ct packet had 3 g./ 2 ½ tsp of all ingredients which was enough to make 14 oz. I brewed at 175*F for 3 min. (my kettle had no 180*F setting) and a resteep of 6 oz., although enjoyable, was much milder in flavor.
Compared to another popular pineapple flavored tea, Pina Colada, which brews rosy red, White Tropics seems like a lilt of tropical flavor. The rose hips and hibiscus in Pina Colada give the pineapple flavor a tangy bite that adds to its classic taste. I love both teas and can’t decide on just one. I’m a pineapple fan so both are in my pantry.

Coconut! Coconut is the first thing on my tongue today after tasting this tea for the first time. The delicate white base is a lovely, buttery backdrop for the otherwise strong tropical flavors with this tea. This would be insanely refreshing iced on a hot summer day too.

It was nearly 100 degrees outside today. Iced White Tropics tea was the perfect way to cool off and relax after a blistering morning outside. It s good as a hot tea, but my family and I absolutely love it as an iced tea. It s light and refreshing, the fruity notes are delightful, and it doesn t need any sweeteners.

Light, refreshing taste for a nice afternoon cup of tea. I taste the coconut more than the pineapple but really enjoy the fact that it is a very light tea especially late in the afternoon. Also it is low caffeine so makes a great after dinner/watching tv so I don't stay up to late cup of tea :)

This wasn't a bad tea and I did enjoy it, but white teas aren't hitting me like I thought they would, but I'm going to try blending them and icing to see how that goes.

This is a personal iced tea favorite. I do a quick bloom with 200 degree water for a couple minutes, fill my pitcher with cold water and place in the fridge. Really brings out the flavor.
