The smell is amazing, the taste is another story. I’m a huge fan of strong flavor so this won’t be something I add to my cupboard. However the smell is a strong and aromatic scent that once gone was disappointing.

★★★★★

I loved this! A tangy, bright tangerine/orange flavor, with a light and refreshing white tea base. I could drink this all the time.

★★★★☆

This is okay. A floral white tea with a very light citrus flavor. However, the citrus flavor is so slight that it almost didn't come through.

★★★★☆

Very light flavor, pretty good iced. A little tangy.

I love “orange” teas, and this one is great!! The white tea doesn’t overpower the orange like adagio’s orange black tea does.

★★★★☆

Nice and mild orange citrus flavor. Good with some sweetener

★★★★★

Delicious!! Light and fruity taste and extremely forgiving on the steep time (had family show up unexpectedly and steeped it a few minutes too long). Highly recommend for a tasty cuppa whenever, but especially on a beautiful summer evening.

★★★★★

This tea has a nice subtle orange flavor that pairs well with the mild white tea.

★★★☆☆

Not bad, very perfumeish kind of flavor to it, which is a bit odd at first.

This is a solid, light, sweet tea. Don't oversteep it or you'll lose the sweet notes. Not like I know this from personal experience or anything...

★★★★☆

Maybe im not a white tea fan but i didnt care for this much.

The orange flavor was pretty potent with a touch of honey. There was a hint of sourness and the tea itself was mellow. Drinkable, mostly enjoyable, but not something I would drink again.

★★★☆☆

I sampled this tea as part of the August CommuniTEA. I brewed this hot and then chilled it for an afternoon drink. Overall this was just ok. The flavors were subtle. I was surprised that the white tea did actually come through with a light floral note.

★★★★☆

Normally I’m not a white tea fan. However I really enjoyed this one. The tea flavour was pleasant and I enjoyed the hint of citrus. Nice tea.

Part of the August 2020 CommuniTEA box. A light and friendly tea, no need for sweetener, or at least not much.

★★★☆☆

It's almost medicinal in taste. A very light flavor, more reminiscent of a tangerine candy. If you enjoy tangerines a lot, you'll likely enjoy this, as a nice afternoon delight. For me, however, it is just OK.

★★★★★

Like many of the other Adagio citrus teas I've tried, the white tangerine has a pleasant dryness that makes sweetening irrelevant. The mandarin flavor is more floral and playful than orange-juicy. I'd buy it!

This tea is VEYOND delicious. It smells like an orange popsicle. It's taste is supe complex and very citrusy. I am in love.

It's rare that i love how a tea smells and don't like how it tastes. This was one of those rare times. The flavor was just off for me.

Normally, I'm not a fan of White Tea. My palate isn't quite refined enough to appreciate the subtle flavors. That said, I really enjoyed this one. The tangerine flavors blended very nicely with the slight bitterness of the tannins. I also used a raw wildflower honey, and that helped emphasize the more subtle notes of the tea itself. Refreshingly sweet. Definitely recommend this one.

This is quite tasty for being a citrus tea. The citrus flavor is very subtle.

It's a gentle orangey tea thats good hot and cold.

I just wasn't a fan of this one. The tangerine flavor was unpleasant. I can't put my finger on the problem- maybe it's artificial tasting? Anyway, I wasn't able to finish this cup.

★★★☆☆

I don't taste the tangerines. I can smell it, but not taste it.

★★★☆☆

A loud and proud tangerine tea! I think I would prefer if it were orange flavor instead. Still a descent tea though.

Tastes like if I dragged my teeth down the side of the orange peel. Bleck.

i wasn't the biggest fan of the tangerine flavor. somehow i felt it was simultaneously too strong and too weak. felt a little like watered down hot orange juice to me

★★★★☆

I'm not normally a fan of white teas, but this is really nice. The dry scent is much stronger than the brewed scent, but it is lovely! It's a very mild taste, but the tangerine is just there enough to make a lovely cup. I added half a teaspoon of honey and it brought out the flavours even more.

I tried this as part of the Communitea offering of the day, since I don't usually buy citrus teas (never like those I've tried, despite loving fresh citrus). The tangerine flavor tastes a bit... soapy... or bitter. Maybe better with some sugar or honey, if you like sweet tea. Cold-steeped in the fridge for several hours to drink iced.

★★★★☆

The perfect tea for a good old, regular, summer day sip of iced tea. I liked it, and apparently so did my sneaky pup! Caught home sneaking sips while I was gardening and heard a little slurping sound! This tea reminded me of my Florida grandma’s sun tea with oranges squeezed in for sweetness. A nice taste and a lovely memory!

This tea wasn't bad. The flavor overall wasn't the strongest and I felt needed to be steeped a little longer than suggested to enhance the mandarin flavor

★★★☆☆

I thought the mandarin orange flavor was spot on, and a little bit of sugar brought out the flavor even more. I accidentally over steeped my tea, but it didn't seem to have a negative effect. I would have given this tea a higher rating, but I really dislike white tea for some reason.

★★★★☆

I liked this summer tea. It is light yet full of flavor.

★★★★★

I adore this tea! I only just tried it for the first time this morning and I love it so much. It's refreshing and has a wonderful orange taste and aroma.

★★★★☆

This is a nice, light tea. The tangerine flavor meshes well with the white tea.

Wonderful, light and refreshing tea. I love the hint of tangerine. White tea is perfect for a summer morning because it is not too hot!

Very refreshing and crisp tea with a nod to tangerine. Enjoyed this one cooled down but suspect it would be just as good iced.

The orange taste in this tea reminds me of a household cleaner. I tried it during the communiTEA and didn’t even finish it.

★★★☆☆

First sip had me thinking I wasn't going to like it, but it grew on me as I finished my cup. Orange is definitely the overriding flavor, reminded me of a watery orange popsicle. Overall, average and enjoyable but unlikely to purchase.

★★★★★

This one is lightly sweet, and the tangerine went really well with the white tea.

This is an amazing tea to enjoy in summer or on winter days when you wish it was warm outside. The delicate flavor of the white tea compliments the juiciness of the citrus making a flavorful, fruity blend.

I really like that the tangerine is paired with the white tea because it gives it a soft flavor which finishes with the citrus. The white tea softens the potential bitterness of the orange/tangerine but be careful not to oversteep because then this would become a bitter cup of tea. It's a very good, bright morning tea.

This tea was light and delicious. I’m not sure I got a lot of mandarin or orange flavors but it was still good

Unfortunately my water was too hot. I’m sure that impacted the flavors. My husband likes it. It’s nice and soft.

This is, like most white tea, a good, gentle tea.
If you add the tiniest bit of a fancy honey it accentuates the tangerine flavor in fantastic ways.
I'm pretty sure I was getting hints of citrus fruit pith, which was a bit of an unwelcome bitter, but it wasn't excessive, just off putting.

This tea didn’t do it for me. The tangerine tasted artificial, and I had an unpleasant Taste in my mouth after each sip. It may be ok as a blend, this is from the CommuniTea so I only had the one cup to go on. I prepared it hot.

Very mild tangerine and woodsy aromas were noted from the bag. Also noted was the presence of orange peel. Right after steeping, very slight sour aromas and tastes were noted. I thought to myself, “I bet I’m gonna have to wait for things to cool before the orange flavors come through.” Sho’ nuff, when the brew was warm, the mandarin made itself known with pleasant tangerine flavors and aromas. The orange peel added just enough bitterness to require a bit of sugar to mellow things out. And finally, the white tea provided a really nice woodsy and buttery smoothness on the tongue at the finish. Due respect for a delicate white tea was honored by the other players by not being too citrusy. I love this Fujian white tea for its unadulterated naturally-dried oxidized flavor. Second steep was even better. (3 mins @ 185F, 1/4 tsp sugar)

This has such a nice orange flavor without being overwhelming. With a little vanilla milk this tastes like a delicious creamsicle!

I liked it but wanted to have more of a tangerine flavor to it. I enjoyed the cup but still it needed a bit more citrus for me. I usually drink my tea plain and rarely add sugar or cream. I may start adding to see what happens. Enjoy the tea adventure!!

★★★★★

I enjoyed this a lot, the orange was more tangy than their regular orange flavor.
