I would definitely suggest this white tangerine tea. it is delicious and would be great for iced tea.

★★★★☆

I really wanted this to wow me, but it was much more subtle than I like, alas. Still, a smooth, slightly fruity brew.

★★★★☆

Pleasant flavor, light bodied tea. Nice to have a change from my normal Vanilla =)

★★★☆☆

The mandarin flavoring is somewhat unpleasant, as it gives the tea a strange artificial aroma and flavor. I don't know.. I'm not quite sure what to think of this one. I love citrus (and either eat or drink it every day) and white tea, so I'm wondering why it just doesn't work out for me. It's not terrible, but it's odd. I'm gonna use this opportunity to cast my vote for an orange blossom white tea while I'm at it. Perhaps as a replacement?

This sample has hidden under my radar until checkout, I actually snagged this piece up at the end of my last tea order. I was not disappointed. The leaves have a strong citrus scent, almost like lemon, not tangerine. The brewing tea also has the same kind of scent, only it's a little lighter and mixed with an almost minty, refreshing aroma. The taste is very earthy and relaxing, with another last remnant of that citrus teasing my taste buds. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a lighter tea taste, or who enjoys something that can come home and drink without a care.

I thought I was going to hate this tea the minute I opened the bag because of the very strong smell, but it turned out better than I thought. After steeping, the tea didn't have a very strong taste, though the light smell still didn't really appeal to me. The taste wasn't bad though, just light citrus-y. When I added some sugar it made it taste better. I'll probably just use the rest of my sample bag for blending...

★★★★★

love it - I believe the citrus favor adds a lot to it

★★★☆☆

I didn't get much tangerine flavor or scent. It's ok, but nothing amazing.

★★★☆☆

I wasn't sure what to think of when I first tried this one, still not. It's a nice light tea, but it really doesn't have the flavor I was hoping for to match the smell of the leaves.

★★★★★

This is a great tea - the white tea is light and airy and the tangerine matches, adding some sweetness without overpowering the tea itself.

★★★★☆

The white tangerine is soft, sweet, but has a little zest to it. Overall, subtle and satisfying.

★★★★☆

a soothing mild white with a hint of fruit... a great everyday tea

★★★★☆

Has a mellow flavor that I wish was a little stronger. But I enjoyed this tea.

★★★★★

Very mild tea with just a hint of Tangerine. I was expecting a little stronger tangerine flavor but it was still good.

Update: After having this tea a few more times, it has become one of my favorites. It has a crisp, clean taste. I enjoy it hot or room temperature. I will order this one again!

★★★☆☆

This was not my favorite tea. I was looking forward to it since I love citrus however, it was lacking something.

★★★★★

Smells absolutely wonderful and tastes just as great. Much better than the pomegranate green I had previously - already on my second brew.

★★★★★

Really good white tea and goes great with the white tea! Tastes like a I'm eating a tangerine.

★★★★★

i'm still trying to decide if i like this one - i'm not big on oranges but love tangerines. this has a very citrusey flavor to it

★★★★★

Pretty satisfied with this one. It tastes smooth but with enough flavor so that it tastes like tea instead of water, and it steeps more than twice before it wears out.

★★★☆☆

Smells much stronger than it tastes, which I think is a good thing. My first white tea ever and I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a bit earthy. I'm trying to rate this on the quality overall rather than my personal preference but I think white tea just isn't for me. Wouldn't turn it down if someone handed it to me, but probably won't get any more for myself.

★★★☆☆

Not my favorite. A little grassier than I was expecting. It had been a while since my last white tea, so maybe I just fell out of love.

★★★☆☆

Not one of my favorites. For me this tea is a little too woodsy, I don't get much tangerine out if it. Even the odor was a little odd to me.

★★★★☆

Nice, but occasionally had a slightly bitter taste to me.

★★★★☆

Not my favorite white tea on here, but still very good. Subtle flavor, mostly floral. I don't really get much tangerine.

One night, I brewed cups of white tangerine, citron green, mandarin green and citrus mate in order to make a comparison between them. It turned out that there was something good about each of them, but the white tangerine may have been my favorite of the bunch. It was flavorful (though certainly not overpowering. not a one of the above is a particularly strong, pushy flavored tea) and nuanced. I caught little hints of various citrus notes, and I thought it tasted interesting enough, even without any sweetener to pull out the fruit flavors.

I also discovered through further experimentation that it made a big difference to the flavor whether the tea was brewed at green tea temperatures or at the traditional temperature for white tea - the latter was markedly more flavorful!

The tangerine flavor may be too subtle for me. It's still a good tea but I wouldn't have been able to tell you it was tangerine from the taste.

★★★★★

Yummy! This is reminiscent of white orange blossom tea from the Republic of Tea which has always been a favorite of mine. I'm glad I finally gave this a try. I was afraid the citrus would be overpowering. But that's not so. It's more of a subtle undertone that leaves a sweet finish on the pallet. Smooth and wonderful in a good quality white tea base. I will order this again and again!

At first I was a bit put off by the smell of the tea but after steeping, it was quite lovely! I've learned recently that I'm not a big fan of the smell of orange peels in my tea though so I think most people will also really enjoy the smell. :)

★★★★☆

Even though I'm not sure about white tea in general, I liked this one. It was very light and the citrus flavor was just right.

★★★☆☆

I brewed this with 8 teaspoons for a quart pitcher and it was still pretty weak. If you are a tea drinker who prefers very little actual tea flavor, then this one is for you. I didn't notice much tangerine in the scent of the tea in the bag or in the flavor of the tea itself. I will blend this with the blood orange herbal tea to give it a much needed flavor boost for my taste.

★★★☆☆

The tangerine taste doesn't really come through very well.

★★★☆☆

As someone who doesn't have much experience with citrus OR white teas, I didn't know what to expect, other than being prepared for not as much flavor as I usually like. The smell in the bag was aromatic, but I couldn't detect any of the tangerine smell, only the tea smell. Unfortunately, when I brewed it into a very light peach-colored liquor, the taste was virtually undetectable. I put a little vanilla creamer in and tasted it, and it tasted like vanilla creamer. A second brew was much more flavorful, but still I could only taste the tea leaves. However, with a tablespoon of sugar it was a nice smooth beverage.

This one definitely needs a 5-7 minute steep. The white base is sweet and vegetal and the citrus was subtle and well done. I did find it to be more key lime than tangerine though.

★★★★★

a very good tea. lightly sweet and tangy flavor. excellent!

Love this tea. Its wonderful hot or iced with blood orange.

★★★★☆

A nice, light tea. I prefer to blend it with other citrus teas, as it adds nice flavor.

★★★★★

This is a light, flavorsome tea. The tea leaves are top quality . If only everything I buy made me feel this good!

★★★★☆

nice subtle flavour. brews a gentle golden colour.

i like white teas because white tea usually doesn't over power the fruit flavor. it was refreshing but had a strange aftertaste.

This tea is very subtly citrus-flavored, so not for someone looking for something too 'orangey.' Rather, white tangerine is for the tea drinker who wants a light, naturally sweet tea that doesn't need anything added--although a lemon slice does go quite nicely.

★★★★☆

Great White tea that has just the right amount of orange flavor

★★★★☆

A nice, refreshing white tea. Fabulous cold. It's very light and has just a hint of flavor.

★★★★★

I had a feeling I'd like this one a lot and I did!

★★★★★

A great light tangerine flavor. I enjoy low or no caffeine tea at night or late afternoon, this one was perfect! Very tasty!

★★★☆☆

The smell and taste were not as I expected. I hoped for it to be a bit citrusy but that was not the case.

★★★☆☆

A pleasantly light tea. The tangerine is elusive. a dried citrus flavor rather than fresh and fruity.

My first taste of white tea. I wasn't fond of the smell, but I plan to try other white teas to see if it's just this particular flavor that was unimpressive to me.

★★★★☆

A little weak on the tangerine flavouring but still a nice refreshing tea.

★★★☆☆

I wanted to love this - I love orange/tangerine flavors. But it seemed a bit weak to me. The next time, I used more leaf, and it was a little better, but still seemed weak in both the white tea flavor and the tangerine flavor. Since I have to use a lot, it's not economical. So I think I'll try mixing 50/50 an unflavored white (I hear unflavored whites are a better quality of tea) with blood orange herbal.
