I wasn't sure I was going to like this but I really did!
White tea from Fujian, China. White Peony, also known as Pai Mu Tan, is a sweet, mild tea made from unopened tea buds, as well as the two newest leaves to sprout. Warm and floral like fruit blossoms. Golden liquor, succulent floral-fruit flavor.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this but I really did!
This is a decent, delicate white tea. Nice during the day when I don't want a strong hit of flavor, but still have the hint of a nice, slight taste.
Not really bad I think it just that I don't care for most white tea blends
Not quite as good as the silver needle but quite okay I guess.
White peony has a nice soft flavor with an dry finish. This tea is great for someone who wants to replace one sweet thing with another sweet thing.
Not as awesome to me as White Symphony, but a solid secondary tea
I think this is a good white tea when some of the others are sold out.
Another of my favorites, this tea has a delicate flavor and sweet aroma.
This was a very nice tea. It was the first time that I had tryed an unflavoured white tea, and it was pretty good. I would reccomend it.
I really enjoyed this tea. I cannot really give an expert opinion as I am new to white teas, but this seems like a good neutral white tea to me.
Really lovely white tea. My favorite of adagio's non-tip-only white teas. Sweet melon and honey notes.
A great tea with wonderful light flavor. Definitely a favorite from here!
Light, airy, and refreshing. Very enjoyable before bed.
This is an extremely nice, very smooth white tea. My only quibble with it is the same one I have with all white teas. they are so 'light' they feel insubstantial. But if you're OK with that, this is a quality tea you won't be disappointed in.
a nice delicate white tea. very good with honey but a little boring by itself
Meh. This tea isn't bad, but isn't near as good as other teas named 'white peony' such as the one from Shang's. Not bad, but not great... the price is what really makes this one worth it.
The only plain white I can compare this too is snowbud, which was almost imperceptibly tea, while this is definitely tea. But as a white it's not bitter at all, and definitely does have some 'fruity' sort of flavors in it.
delicious taste and very soothing for a sore throat
This tea is pretty light and I loved the smell of peony in it.
Nice change of pace from our typical choices (black teas). We usually keep a small bit of this around for something different.
I used to buy Silver Needle tea, and it was crazy expensive. This White Peony is far superior. It has a better flavor, texture, and re-brewing life than Silver Needle. The flavor is incredibly smooth and clear and light. I can easily brew 4 big mugs of tea from a 2 tsp of leaves (very loosely packed, because the tea leaves are so big). My favorite white tea!
Very mild good tea. Finding I'm not a big fan of white tea. Much prefer green and black teas.
A nice floral tea if you're looking for something a bit lighter...
Smooth light flavor, floral and gently sweet. A nice tea to start exploring the whites.
Very light! I enjoyed this quite a bit. it's good as a late night sort of tea.
I'm always surprised at how different Adagio loose teas are from a bagged tea you buy at the store. This white peony surpasses even the expensive bagged one I have been using. Very good.
Given as a gift as part of a monthly sampler. Had this tea before and its very delicate.
This tea is gorgeous. It is light and floral. It tastes the way you think perfume should taste as opposed to how it actually tastes. I know that sounds bad, but it's a beautiful, fragrant tea.
This is a nice tea with a very mild flavor. I personally prefer stronger teas, so I may not get this one again, but the gentle flavor is very pleasant if you prefer something light.
Goes nice with a spoonful of honey. I have a love/hate feeling towards the simplicity of white peony. In terms of plain whites, I prefer snowbud.
I love this white tea and it has replaced snow bud as my favorite. It much more flavor than some of the other whites, yet no too strong.
This tea has a very subtle flavor. When I first tried it I was honestly like 'wow this tastes like water,' but the mouth feel is very nice and the flavor's actually really good. I'll definitely be drinking it again.
While this tea is as clear and delicate as a white tea should be, I was expecting a stronger floral taste and smell in the cup. it pretty much just tastes like straight white tea.
Perfectly acceptable white tea - I've been primarily mixing it with greens.
I decent quality Pai Mu Tan at a price that you can't beat for your daily pot of tea. Good for two steepings. If you want the flavor stronger, use more leaves, not more time!
Very good white tea. I enjoy blending it with a little bit of hibiscus.
personally I would not buy this tea again due to it tasting to mild, almost flavorless.
It has a somewhat sweet flavor, though not as much as I was expecting. It's a very solid white tea.
The floral notes of this tea are very subtle. Honestly, it doesn't wow me and I probably won't order it again, but I don't mind it. It's tasty enough and good in the evening. It's a mild tasting white tea good for multiple infusions.
my favorite for an evening drink due to the low caffeine. Smooth, light yet flavorful.
I expected this to have a more floral taste. It brewed extremely light in color (which was pretty cool, actually). It tasted good, but nothing super special, in my opinion.
Light with floral notes. Perfect tea for sipping. Would be great iced too.
Mild, delicious, and a great option for iced tea on a hot summer day. I really enjoyed it.
Fantastic! The perfect introduction to white tea. If you find this tea too mild, than white tea isn't for you because this is by far the strongest one. It is slightly oxidized and the tea has a very mild smokey flavor compared to the more delicate snowbud or silver needle. A perfect everyday tea.
not really my cup of tea but not bad for a free sample
Exquisite flavor. Very captivating aroma. A great afternoon drink
Not my favorite by any means, but maybe that was because some of the leaves had been crushed in the small sample bag. The tea is definitely light, and has a sweetness that you can taste in the back of your mouth more than the front. It doesn't have many buds, and is thus less aromatic than its cousin, White Symphony.
I like this! I normally don't like unflavored white teas - too mild. But this has a fuller flavor, floral and faintly sweet, plus a nice aroma. It was watery at 4min, but really nice by 5min. It will never be a bold morning tea, but it makes for a meditative afternoon cup.
This one made me sad :( I usually find white teas to be ones that I love unless there's some weird flavouring mixed in that I don't like. This one definitely isn't going into my re-order pile. It just. . . I don't know, seemed rather bland to me.
This is a perfect anytime tea. Great for an evening cup with a touch of honey, or even for a big pitcher iced.
