It's a pleasant white tea with just enough pear to make it special. Be careful not to over steep.

Very little pear flavor. Perhaps adding actual pears to the tea would help? When you smell it, there is a faint pear smell. Once brewed, the tea takes front and center, and the pear flavor is not present, makes a 'sweeter' white tea.

★★★☆☆

A nice white tea but i didn't get much flavor after brewing. It's good, but not if you're looking for pear flavor.

The white tea is a delicate backdrop to the subtle pear flavors along with a slight sweetness on the tongue. The brewed tea is a light golden color, reminiscent of a Bartlett pear and darker than many white teas. This is a subtle tea, sweet but not overpowering, not too complex and pleasant drinking.

I order a lot of samples for blending teas in my free time. I ordered a sample of White Pear and when I opened it the sample smelled so fresh it about knocked me over (this is good). I brewed a cup immediately because why would you waste an opportunity like that? It was incredible. I went through the sample and had to order another just recently for blending purposes. The cup once brewed is very pale but was highly aromatic. It was succulent and somehow both intense and mellow. Very pleasant mouthfeel - smoother than I expected for pear so it must be the tea leaves working that magic. I have not tried this tea iced but can imagine it would be crisp and quenching. Usually white teas are fairly tame, and the age of the tea does play a big role in what you'll get in your cup. Since I'm not crazy about pears (I prefer peaches or plums) I was surprised how much I enjoyed this tea.

Maybe I m not a white tea person. It tastes fine for a straight white tea, but not getting that much pear flavor or smell.

★★★★★

One of my new favs, a mild flavor and pleasing. Juicy rather than dry

I am a fan of white peach tea and so I recently decided to try two other teas in the white fruit range. This white pear was a real disappointment to me. I could get no pear at all! I even tried leaving it to brew for longer and shorter times, but nothing. Very disappointing.

This is a very nice white tea with no pear flavor whatsoever. It simply tastes like white tea, and that s pleasant enough, but I can t taste even a hint of anything else. As with many Adagio teas, I m not sure why there are apple pieces. They sure don t add flavor. Are they just to increase the weight?

I like a white tea for the smooth flavor. This one has a very mild pear flavor and smell. Great for a morning start or afternoon/evening relaxing time.

★★★★☆

clean fresh flavors, was perfect as an after dinner tea.

Discovered in my Advent Tea calendar and thought I'd order a larger batch.

★★★★★

A lovely tea to drink at night. Perfectly balanced, however be careful not to steep too long!

I buy this tea seasonally in the winter, and think of partridges as I drink it. I like brewing it by the pot-ful, using about 5 g for a 42 oz pot. The pear flavor is sweet and juicy, and benefits greatly from a drop of sweetener (roughly equivalent to a teaspoon of honey or sugar). It's an ideal afternoon tea over the holidays.

This is fine. I preferred it iced but it’s really not a high flavor tea.

I was surprised because it smelled one way and tasted differently. But it is very smooth and pretty good!

★★★☆☆

The pear wasn’t flavorful enough for me, but that could just be me.

I looooove this tea when I am not needing caffeine. It tastes so good and the flavor isn’t overpowering or too subtle at all. This is my husbands favorite

If you like pears, you will love this tea. It has a light sweet pear flavor, and is great with a bit of sugar in it.

★★★★★

The pear taste is present but not overwhelming. It is a perfect white tea with a mild fruit flavor.

★★★★★

My absolute favorite tea of all of them that I've tried so far! it's so flavorful yet very light, as is a white tea. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this tea and cannot get enough!

★★★☆☆

The white teas just aren't doing it for me so far, will have to try more.

★★★★☆

The white pear I received in the adagio advent calendar had a stronger, brighter pear flavor than the sample I purchased after. The sample's not bad, it just has more tea flavor with more subtle hints of pear.

★★★★★

My son LOVES this tea! Mr Eight Year Old requested it for Christmas gift. :)

★★★★★

Surprisingly good. I didn t expect the pear flavor to come through.

★★★★★

good white tea that tastes very good! i have it with cookies

★★★☆☆

This, as you might expect with pear, had an extremely subtle taste. If you sweeten with honey, particularly a stronger bodied honey, it will washout the pear flavor. You would be better served with the white peach tea, and I say that as a person who typically does not like peach.

★★★★☆

Fantastic tea! Very light and mellow flavor. I tasted not only the fruity pear flavor but also a slight floral undertone that enhanced the taste! Loved it!

★★★★☆

I couldn’t taste the pear but it was still a nice light white tea.

★★★★★

Aromatic and pleasant if a little heavy in the apple department.

★★★★★

This tea blew me away. Perfect blend of subtle pear with white tea luxurious mouth feel. Also works well cold steeped.

It s what it sounds like--basic white tea, with pear. Nothing unexpected. It s not groundbreaking, but it ll hit the spot if you want a fruity white tea.

Don’t know that I get much in the way of pear vibes so much as a delicate fruitiness, but this tea is absolutely delicious all the same! Love it.

I love pears and it goes well with this white tea. Nice light tea for mornings,

One of the best flavoured white teas I have tried. The pear is an excellent addition.

One of my favorite teas. White pear is what got me started to endulge more into teas. Recommend to everyone to try.

It was very light. Not bad I just prefer my tea to have a stronger flavor than I got from this tea.

Very good white tea with just a hint of sweet pear taste. Keeping in mind, that pears have a very lite sweet taste. I like it. Great afternoon tea. Love it.

This is another lightning crisp tea, also wonderful cold

Very delicate fruit flavor. Not too sweet, not too artificial. Not really pear flavor, just a delicate fruit flavor. I only tried this cold, and it was very refreshing.

very weak flavour. white tea kind of overtook the flavour of the pear on this one.

Weak smell but the taste is exactly as it's named. Simple white tea with pear flavor. Soothing drink before bed, when stressed, or on a cold day.

For me, I personally do not like the aroma of this tea. The leaves themselves do not smell as delightful as I had been hoping, nor does the brewed tea itself. However, the taste is alright, therefore I will drink it, but it will not be one that I purchase in large quantity. My sister says she likes it, though!

★★★★☆

clean and refreshing, especially enjoy it cold brewed

★★★★☆

I don't usually like pear flavored things, but I really like this tea hot or cold!

★★★★★

Has a nice subtle pear flavor when brewed as an iced tea. Enjoyable but not particularly overwhelming.

I couldn’t taste the pear, which was a bit disappointing, though I admit that pear is an extremely subtle flavor. The white tea was still very nice. I found that brewing at a lower temperature gave me a bare hint of fruit. I don’t regret it, but I won’t buy it again.

Part of the October 2020 CommuniTEA box. A nice mild tea. This would be good as an iced portion, too

★★★★☆

Very light tea. I didn't really taste much pear flavor.
