I don't hate it, but I taste and smell more of the orange peel than grapefruit in this tea. Had an aftertaste I did not like, too. I drink fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice, so I am particular about what grapefruit should taste like. I would recommend the blueberry white tea over this because it has similar fruity notes, but a very smooth and complex aftertaste.
Definitely not my favorite white tea, but this tea would be good iced and smells lovely.
The grapefruit taste isn't nearly as strong as the grapefruit smell of the leaves in the bag unfortunately, but it's still a decent cup to sip on.
I'm just starting to experiment with white teas, and this one was one of the first I purchased. It's a nice, light tea with citrusy notes, and a little bit of sugar brought out the grapefruit flavor well.
Didn't really taste like grapefruit to me. Very bitter but better sweetened. Would probably taste better iced.

It has a VERY pungent smell when it is dry, smells a bit worse when steeping, but the taste was nice.
Oh this tea is excellent. We made a tetsubin of it when we had a friend visiting and it was lovely. It was a very light flavor but with definite citrus notes. Everyone who tried it, adored it. Even my husband who normally just likes his tea cold and sweet.
I bet this tea would also be excellent cold, however have not yet tried it cold.
This tea is wonderful. The grapefruit flavor is subtle, not robust. And there's also something a bit creamy or vanilla-like about the overall flavor as well, despite there not being vanilla involved. Of the flavored white teas, I think this one is now my current favorite. It even managed to oust my beloved pear, and that's saying something.
Pretty mediocre white tea when compared to the others Adagio offers. The batch I received didn't resemble grapefruit in taste whatsoever, which was a bit disappointing.
This tea is pretty good. I prefer it iced, just because i can taste more than when it is hot.
This is very light and satisfying tea. It's especially good cold. Very refreshing. If you want to drink it hot it would be a good late afternoon tea.
This has a very light, nice grapefruit taste - it gets a good rating instead of great only because the grapefruit oolong is superior. I'm still amazed by the way that Adagio's grapefruit teas manage to keep the nice parts of grapefruit flavor while removing all of the objectionably nasty parts of eating actual grapefruit. This one is very light, and a bit trickier than the oolong grapefruit - I'd say it's a bit more prone to having the sour/bitter quality of actual grapefruit. Keeping your brew time lower or adding a dash of sugar helps this one out a bit. Even without sugar, though, it's a nice, light, mildly grapefruity tea.
I absolutely loved this tea. The hint of grapefruit in it was fantastic and tasted very good!

Love, love, love this tea! Very smooth and light, with slight grapefruit flavor. This is a perfect morning tea. Could have a bit more grapefruit taste, but that may overpower the white tea. Overall, extremely balanced, and a wonderful cup. My absolute favorite.

I was so happy with this tea. It's the best grapefruit tea I've tasted. The subtle white tea carries the bright grapefruit flavor really well.
I enjoyed this tea, however I was hoping for a somewhat stronger grapefruit taste. I found that I could barely pick up on it at all, which was disappointing because I was so excited about trying this and I really love grapefruits. Tastes mostly like a standard (though delicious) white tea. Having said that, I've only drank it iced thus far. Perhaps the flavor will come out more when it is served hot.
This is very light and a kind of sour tea. It lacks the grapefruit bitterness that the oolong has. I prefer the oolong, but for those who like lighter, I recommend this.
I love everything about citrus. The scent, the taste. I drank this tea while burning a grapefruit scented candle and it was the perfect experience!
I was surprised at this one. It has a good scent and tastes like citrus green tea. I liked it a lot but I think I prefer the green citron.
This one was a lot like the White Tangerine in that it seems to need a longer steep. The base again, was nice and vegetal and the grapefruit was, well, grapefruity. The grapefruit flavor is enhanced with cooling and this would probably make a great cold brew.

i was a little disappointed with this one. not the flavor i expected especially with me being a grapefruit freak. the first sip was nice.. after that it just seemed to fade away.
I received this tea as a free sample in my last order and I'm kind of glad I didn't pay for it. I love grapefruit anything, but this didn't quite hit the spot. There's very little grapefruit flavor at all. The smell out of the bag, and while brewing isn't great, but the overall taste is ok. Maybe I'll like it better the further I get into this sample, but I definitely don't think it's one I would crave regularly.
May need to go one the heavy side to extract the fruit flavor. First batch was a bit more grassy and natural then expected.

This tea smells exactly like grapefruit, although the grapefruit taste itself is far more mellow. Im thinking this will be grate iced!
I really enjoyed this iced. I wouldn't have minded a bit more grapefruit flavor though for a bit more of a citrus zing. It was very good though, refreshing and tasty. I only ordered the sample, and I used the entire thing for a pitcher of iced tea. I will definitely order more, but I might toss in some dried grapefruit peels while steeping
I love this flavor!!! I tasted it both hot and over ice, and I enjoyed it both ways. It has what I'd call a subtle grapefruit taste. It is not strongly flavored... but I like it this way.
I find this to be a very refreshing tea. The grapefruit is definitely there in smell and flavor, but its not overwhelming. Very tasty!

You can definitely smell and taste the grapefruit in this tea which is a good thing for me! It has a refreshing taste even though it is hot. I think I may tried it iced some time.
Wow- I wish I'd tried this one sooner! The distinctive flavor of grapefruit really comes through both in the smell and taste. Not as bitter as White Tangerine- I would describe the flavor more as 'juicy'. If you're a grapefruit fan, you'll love it.

This was my first white tea I've ever tried and I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I'm not so sure if white tea is for me though. It is subtle, delicious, and refreshing.
