I don't have much experience with white teas as I prefer a bolder taste and generally stick to black teas. That being said, I enjoyed this tea! Brewed at 180F for 3 minutes. The taste and aroma reminded me more of bubblegum than fruit though...but it was an enjoyable, light cup of tea. I still prefer my black tea...but this was very, very good!
1/3/23 - Just too light for me. I'm just not usually a real fan of white tea. I like a bolder taste. Nothing wrong with the tea at all...smells great, nice light fruity taste...just not my personal taste.

White Eternal Spring

Recommended Steep 180°F for 3 minutes. I steeped at 185°F, since I don’t have a 180 °F setting on my teapot, for 3 minutes in approximately 11 oz of water with 1.5 tsp of Adagio tea/rock sugar.

This is a very pretty tea that smells delicious upon opening, of fruits that I can’t quite place, but seem to be somewhat tropical. It is a fairly strong aroma. When done steeping the fruit flavor is moderate, at it’s hottest, while still not being identifiable. It continues to remind me of tropical fruit. It becomes more delicate and mild in taste as it settles until the flavor is barely discernible with an odd aftertaste, that while not necessarily unpleasant, was a little strange. I probably wouldn’t buy this on my own, but I think fans of mild, white and fruit teas will really enjoy this. 3 stars from me.

A sweet fruity aroma greeted me as I opened my CT packet today. I steeped the 3 grams of 70% white tea leaves and 25% of fruity and floral bits in 8 oz. of water for 3:45 minutes at 180*F for a nice full flavor. No bitterness was detected in the white tea base with the longer steep time.

The peach hued liquor had a pleasant tangy tart taste from the pineapple, hibiscus, and rose hip trio to start. A soft rose flavor chimed in and trailed to the finish of the sip. The more delicate mango and apple flavors were subtle but contributed to the overall fruity taste. No blueberries or cranberries appeared in my packet this time.

I sipped plain to enjoy the flavors as they emerged but found a bit of agave to sweeten brightened and elevated all of them and I enjoyed the first cup more that way. A resteep of 4 oz. had a mellower taste. The rose flavor had vanished and a wonderful less tart fruit flavor remained. A dry mouthfeel at the finish let me know there was some astringency in the white tea. Its gentle grape like flavor seemed to partner well with the fruit medley in this blend. Chilled, the fruity tea was light and delightful. This is a good blend to add bits of dried fruit on hand to enhance its juice like quality. The fun and variety of flavors are endless.

UPDATED from 3/27/22: Lovely ingredients in the CommuniTEA packet, so beautiful and there is a fruity aroma. They all steep into a light golden color. The flavor is a delicious - fruity white tea. There is a slight white tea astringency that is mild and fresh on the tongue like a brisk spring morning. Needs no sweetener to be sweet. Is fruity, but not a specific fruit - (more like a fruit salad). A lovely tea. Good for one steep only. (3 mins @ 180ºF).

One of my favorite fruity teas of all time. It smells like candy in the bag but brews up somewhat less aggressively; it's very fruity but not too artificial or cloying. I drink it both hot and iced, but I think it shines most as iced tea.

I found myself hoping for a little more for this one, but I still enjoy it in the afternoon regardless. Its a very light flavor which I do usually appreciate, just wouldn't be my top pick.

A flavorful, light tea. However, there is some bitterness with the finish. That is why I only gave it 3 stars.
UPDATE 10/22: I had stashed this tea away for the winter and brought it back out during the summer. Oh, what a change! Really enjoyed the tea on its own and thought of a new blend: Red, White, and Blueberry, a mix of White Strawberry and White Eternal Spring. Yum!

This particular fruit blend is delightful with white tea and makes for a fitting name for the tea.

Not bad if you like white teas. You need to listen to the instructions and make sure you use a HEAPING teaspoon per cup. It does make a difference. I will say it's sweet enough to not be sweetened and a nice color with little bitterness.

The spouse and I love this one! Like all the tea I've recently been getting from Adagio, I've been using it to brew water kefir and this makes for an amazing tasting berry flavored kefir. We are now buying this in the largest size.

This tea is simple devine, I drink it every day and I love the tea triangles so incredibly convenient. Love it.

A little on the weaker side of white teas I've tried, even in the fruity department, but by no means a bad tea. Maybe next time I'll add a bit extra to make it stronger, but a good, light tea for those who don't like a very strong tea flavor.

A fruity, tangy blend. Lovely for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

Pretty good tart and floral tea. Bet it would have tasted better iced

This wasn't my favorite, unfortunately. I had high hopes because it sounded really delicious with all the different fruits (and I love anything with mango in it). I think why I wasn't so crazy about it was that 1.) the hibiscus was too much for me, and 2.) the mix of that many fruits, to me, totally obscured the delicate white tea flavor, and wound up morphing into a sort of Hawaiian Punch vibe. Still and all I'm glad I tried it, because trying new teas is so much fun! :)

It’s good. Personally, I don’t like the mixes. I think the name is what intrigued me. For some, this might be great. I will stick to single tea leaves only.

Light and fruity, a bit floral at the end. Very pleasant and springy. Cold brews well.

I was unsure how I was going to feel about this tea when I first purchased it. I feel like white tea has a tendency to taste like... nothing? This tea brews into a delightful golden color, and smells like a citrus fruit salad. I liked it hot but when poured over ice, I had to stop myself from finishing a whole bag all at once. This tea is fruity and creamy and SO delicious!

★★★★★

I love the light fruity taste of this tea! I always thought white teas wouldn't have much flavor, but this one really proved me wrong. I bought it by accident, and what a happy accident it was!

I love this white tea. It's my go-to early afternoon tea, and it pairs well with any floral honey. It has a delightful mouthfeel.

The apple, cranberry and pineapple were very pleasant fruit notes added with the vitamin C of the rose-hips. I think this is the perfect spring morning or lunch tea.

I love this tea! It s very floral but in a good way. It s comforting, and with a bit of honey it d be perfect to settle down with and read a book @adagioteas

My feelings are conflicted on this tea. It’s lovely and light (make sure there’s at least a full heaping teaspoon per 8oz for full flavor) but the taste varies from one cup to another. Should your portion have at least a couple pieces of fruit it will likely taste a touch fruitier of course, but as the cup cools the rose starts to take over. After that I find it less palatable but the strength of the floral notes at that point is where it actually may be more desirable for someone else.

This is probably the best white tea I've ever had. They don't normally have enough flavor for me. This one has a lot of flavor and I really like the combination of the pineapple with the other flavors.

Can usually appreciate the lighter flavors of a white tea for the duration of a Communitea sample. This one had some nice tropical fruitiness but there was an odd aftertaste to each sip. Not sure which ingredient was the culprit but this is not a tea for me.

I was apprehensive before trying this tea because I don't like hibiscus or floral notes. I hoped that the lower temperature and shorter steeping time would keep these flavors more subtle. I ended up really liking this tea. A nice white tea with a delicate, fruity flavor!

The smell from the packet was very fruity, mainly pineapple. Because it is still winter here, I didn't cold brew as many recommended. Hot, this did not have as much flavor as it did as when it cooled. Tasted 'beachy' to me . Looking forward to trying this again cold brewed in the summer .

Delicate white tea with a light, fruity flavor that is stronger in aroma than taste. Sweeteners or other flavors (like a hotel coffee brewer!) can easily overpower the subtle flavor. As typical of white teas, it does not resteep well. I have only tried it hot, but think it would be better as an iced tea.

This is a nice and flavorful fruity tea, and since it’s low in caffeine, I can drink it in the evening. I brewed it hot but I’ll bet that it would make a great, summertime, iced tea.
