I love blueberries but am not generally a fan of blueberry flavored things. This tea had a blueberry flavor that reminded me of frozen blueberries. Overall this tea was pleasant to drink.
White Blueberry tea blends together the taste of juicy blueberries with premium white tea from Fujian province, China.

Part of the January 2021 CommuniTEA box. Simple enough flavor - the blueberry kind of overshadows any tea taste I might pick up. Then again, I’m biased towards black tea. This would likely make a nice iced tea.
This tea isn't bad at all, though I tend to find white teas too weak to my liking. The leaves smell fruity and really wonderful - however, it tasted nothing like blueberries. It was just a nice solid floral white tea. I really like a lot more fruit flavor in my tea, so I would not buy this if I wanted a tea that tasted like blueberries.
I loved the blueberry flavor of Bella Luna Bella more than in the flavored black tea but this one is so much better! The sweet blueberry rounds out the fresh flavor of the white tea leaves. I prefer my teas on the stronger side but I feel like this one might hop into my next order.
I was missing the blueberry pieces in my packet, but it was still a very good white tea with mild blueberry flavor.
Today’s communiTea tea, a delicate white tea, covered in blue... blueberries that is,lots of blueberries! When I opened my packet big fat blueberries mixed with loose leaves as I steeped, a very pleasant blueberry aroma filled my kitchen. This morning, I choose to chill my tea. I also added a little of adagio honey to the tea which I feel helped enhance the blueberry flavor. Each sip didn’t disappoint, appearing delicate yet a sweet blueberry flavor came through deliciously.
(4 mins @175f then chilled) nice
Very nice aroma. Strong blueberry taste ,but not too strong. If I liked fruity tea, I would buy this
White teas don't seem to get enough credit, as I suppose they're less common in mainstream culture. This CommuniTEA packet was a nice treat after a long day. There was a couple of blueberries that steeped along with the leaves, creating a subtle hint of the fruit. I typically brew white teas for a second time and for much longer, so that's what I'm about to do!
Delicious! Light and sweet. The smell of the leaves is a delight, and the taste of the brew is just as good. (3 min @ 180°F)
My CommuniTea packet had an amazing aroma when opened. There was one partial blueberry, but it seemed to do its job. As typical of white teas, the White Blueberry is a mild tea with a hint of spring flowers, subtle top notes of blueberries, and the impression of honey. It steeps to a light golden color, and stands up to multiple infusions. (I got four steeps from my CommuniTea packet). I actually enjoyed the second and third steep better than the first. I steeped at 180F x 2.5 minutes to avoid burning the leaves, and used a cold brew for subsequent steeps. It is enjoyable both hot and cold. If sweetener is added, I'd choose one that doesn't compete with the delicate flavor and keep it to a minimum. Tea lovers who prefer a robust flavor or mouth feel would probably prefer the Green Rooibos Blueberry Tea.
Enjoyed this a ton! I'm definitely warming up to white teas. I brewed it according to directions, 180F for 3 minutes. It had a strong blueberry scent and a delicate, floral-sweet blueberry taste, just the gentlest wash of blueberry on the tongue.
This is fabulous! I'Ve got an unfinished sample of this From my last order, But I'm ordering more soon. It's delicious! Lots of delicate white tea flavor with actual blueberry pieces inside. I highly recommend Brewing this at a low temperature, otherwise you will have a very Strong bitter Brew. This one I did not find worked well with a second steep So make it count on that first steep.
Not my favorite. Maybe I overstepped, but the berry flavor has a medicinal taste to me. With a little milk, that’s better, but I won’t be drinking this again.
This tea had a light, delicate flavor that actually tasted like blueberry, not generic fruit or artificial. It wasn't a strong flavor, mostly just a hint in the background. It also had a slight floral sweetness, mostly in the finish. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 3min @ 180F)
There weren’t any blueberries in my CommuniTEA packet today, but the tea still smelled of blueberry. I made this as an iced tea, and added a spoonful of sugar and a handful of frozen blueberries to it as it chilled in the fridge. This was a nice, light tea.
The blueberry aroma coming off of both the packet and the brew of this was so powerful! The white tea is so gentle tasting that the blueberry flavor really comes through. It's like a blueberry muffin in tea form.

Delicious, straightforward blueberry tea! Wonderful, simple blueberry flavor.
I was happy to find one of my favorite White tea blends in today's CommuniTEA packet, White Blueberry! Opening the packet brought forth the familiar scent of blueberries. Approximately 1 tablespoon of white tea leaves were found inside the packet. However, I noticed there were no dried blueberries in mine! No worries, as I was able to scoop a few out from my 1/2 pound bag that I've been working on. I also added some more tea to brew a full 40 ounce pot. Steeped this as a standard White Tea in the VelociTEA maker (3 mins @180º).
The first cup smelled familiar with the fragrance of blueberries, which was just like the dry tea but more muted. The tea brews into a light straw or hay yellow colored liquor. The taste is light and bright, with the fruity flavor of blueberry. As a white tea, there is no bitterness due to less oxidation and low tannins. There is a very faint level of grassiness for a White tea, however nothing anywhere close to a Guyokuro or Sencha. It has a smooth mouthfeel and pleasantly light level of caffeine which makes for a great afternoon tea.
I've had this one before via portions samples in orders and love it. It's a wonderful tea for sipping. The white tea has delicate and subtle floral notes that work wonderful with the fruitiness of the blueberry. This is definitely one I enjoy both hot and iced.
I don't drink white teas often, but when I do they are a welcome change of pace. Delicate yet flavorful.
The scent of blueberry was strong in the CommuniTea packet, I did get one whole blueberry in my packet as well. Once steeped the blueberry flavor was more subtle than I would've guessed from the scent, but it got a bit stronger as it cooled.
I did do a 2nd steep. The blueberry flavor was all but gone, but it was still a nice cup of white tea.
Steeped (1) 175F 2.5min, (2) 185F 3min
Received this in the communiTEA. It’s a nice white tea with a hint of blueberries.
Was pleasantly surprised by this one! Blueberry isn't my favorite, but the fruit balances nicely with the white tea and leaves a refreshing taste in the moth rather than a bitter or overly sweet one like a lot of teas. Would add to my wishlist!
I don't know why I expected this tea to brew up blue colored, lol! 3 minutes at 180F made a lovely light golden cup.
Beautiful blueberry scents wafted up from the tea. It's a juicy, yet mellow flavor that pairs excellently with delicate white tea. I didn't have any blueberry pieces in my CommuniTEA packet, but that didn't deter the flavor blossoming in my cup.
This is a simple tea that is well-balanced and smooth to sip. It didn't need extra sweetness, but it'd be a nice treat with sugar or honey. I think it'd also make a delicious and refreshing iced tea.
Blueberries were the aroma when I opened the packet tho only one was present. The white tea itself is so lovely and a small tad of stevia brought out the lovely blueberry taste. Truly a delight. I again steeped it for a second time which I normally do not do and it was as delightful as the first cup. One can’t go wrong with this tea. Enjoy!!💗💗💗💗💗
I really enjoyed this tea. My first cup was very light I must not have steeped long enough. But even with the light steep it still was flavorful.
My bag did not have any blueberries however the flavor was there! On my second cup I forgot about it steeping so I got a darker color but still delicious.
Some teas are fine to drink out of a mug. But White tea is one of these teas that I feel like deserve to be only sipped out of a china teacup. And I say sipped because it should be enjoyed and not gulped down in a rush.
This is a fun tea, quite unique that it has full blueberries dried in the mix. What I liked best about it was that this brews a very nice iced tea, especially if you cold-brew it overnight. It can go up to 4 steeps without losing too much flavor compared to the original brew, which helps because with 2 teaspoons needed for each cup of tea, it is nice that at least the leaves can go the distance with multiple steeps. I would not recommend brewing less than the recommended 2 teaspoons per cup, either, because even at that volume the tea has a very subtle flavor after a 3 minute steep. I found that brewing at a higher temperature, in harder water, and for a longer time brought out more flavors of both tea and berries. The tea also seemed richer the cooler it became. Overall, I think this is a good tea for people who like very light flavors or are looking for a subtle iced tea, especially those who don t mind throwing a ton of leaves into each cup. It s not as ideal for those who like piping hot tea bursting with flavors. At its best, this tea demanded a lot of attention and leaf volume to achieve a richness of taste that was still more subtle than other white teas that I've enjoyed from Adagio and elsewhere.
Brewed 3 mins @ 175F with rock sugar added
The smell is like that of ripe blueberries. In my opinion, this tea is exactly as expected. Thanks to the white tea, there is virtually no bitterness. The blueberry flavor is certainly at the forefront and quite delicious. I can only imagine how delicious this would be if I had made it into a latte.
I love this tea. I have been drinking it for years. Never disappoints. One of my very favorites.
I love this tea. It was my favorite out of a blueberry pack that had 3 blueberry teas in it, black, white and hibiscus. I love blueberry, and I found that the white tea was mild with very little astringency, allowing the blueberry flavor to shine through.
this has potential, but i don't really taste the blueberry. I smelled it in the packet but after steeping not so much. not a bad tea for the CommuniTea sample box for those who are trying white teas for the first time though.
One of my unexpected favorites, I never thought I was a big fan of blueberry in tea, but this is delicate floral and not too sweet, a new favorite of mine!
Upon opening my packet, I had a wonderful scent of blueberries , but was disappointed to find none in my packet. I brewed this up at 175 degrees for 3 minutes . This tea was an absolute delight, a fruity and floral background with a lovely blueberry finish. I find this a perfectly balanced cup, not too strong or medicinal, but not too weak and lacking in flavour. I think this would hold up to be a lovely iced tea, but as a hot tea, it is absolutely incredible! As the cup cools, more of the floral comes out but remains deliciously fruity to the end. This tea is an absolute winner for me, I will be adding it to my cart!
I love this blueberry; the light flavor of the white tea allows tge blueberry to take prominence in a way its black tea counterpart cannot. I have both, I love both. I sampled this Tea prior to its appearance as part of the Communitea January Box.
This was a wonderful mild tea. The blueberry was apparent even though my CommuniTEA packet didn’t have any full blueberries. It tasted smoother than my herbal blueberry tea. I’ve never had a white tea before so I can’t say too much about how “tea-like” this flavor is. There was no bitterness but I enjoyed it so much that my cup didn’t have a chance to cool to warm. I think it would be pleasant if iced. Resteeped it was just as good with and without a little sugar. I will likely pick up a bag of this tea when I run low on my other blueberry tea!
This is one of my favorite teas. I add a little rock sugar, but Stevia works well too if you prefer going sugar-free. This also makes a very nice iced tea!
Delicate and relaxing, this tea is a perfect break from a frenetic work day. The white tea is mild, but not completely washed away by the rich blueberry flavor. I think this would be delightful iced, but right now I need the zen of a warm cuppa. And this tea provides just that without complaint.
Very nice tea! It's a mild, light tea with a wonderful blueberry aroma and taste.
It´s a very nice tea. Do you remember Blueberry Muffin, the doll? I bet this is how her house smelled when she invited Strawberry Shortcake and the rest of her friends for a cup of tea. ;)
My first thought: blueberry bread. While this lacked most of the mellow sweetness I love from white teas, it definitely wasn't bad. Just kind of 'bready' if that makes sense.
Really enjoying today's CommuniTEA tea. It's a nice way to ease into the morning. Smooth mouthfeel with no bitterness and just a tiny touch of astringency at the end. Well balanced and simple. I need to order more so I can try it cold, I used my packet for 2 cups before I realized it and couldn't get a third steep. 180 for 3 min. I added a touch of honey, mmmm.
I really wanted to love this tea, I love fruity teas. But it’s just so bland. I can barely taste the blueberry. This is my second time trying it since it was also in the 2020 Advent calendar. My note on this tea on the first taste was “weak”. Still very weak. From the past experience, I decided to taste it at 3 minutes steeping and go longer if needed. I tried longer, 5 minutes. Still weak. Maybe even a bit worse since the tea flavor came up a bit more in those extra 2 minutes, not the blueberry. Tried adding a tiny bit of honey, which can only do so much. Still weak as water. I hope they’ll work on improving this, adding more blueberry flavor. This could be a great tea if you could taste blueberry!
It's a very strong smell of juicy blueberries when I opened the bag. At taste, the white tea is there with a herbal and sweet touch of blueberries. It's quite delicate in the mouth. I very like this blend; it's one of my favorites.
This is a lovely, light tea with the great taste of blueberries (one of my favorite tea flavors).
Knowledge is power! I’ve now learned that white teas are low on my list of desirable teas. I did a bit of experimenting with today’s blend. Opening the packet, I was delighted and excited by the promise of blueberry goodness as the fragrance wafted out. I cold brewed overnight, and the resulting tea was disappointingly bland and the blueberries were completely missing. I then conducted a second steep with hot water (182 degrees) for 3 minutes. Straight with no additions the brew was bland and light, with the berry flavor just barely showing up. With the addition of 1/2 teaspoon of sugar the blueberry finally showed up, but was still much weaker than the fragrance that clung to the empty packet promised. All in all it was an experiment in processes, but a tea that I won’t repeat.
This tea has a pleasant but mild flavor, as expected from a white tea. The aroma of blueberry was strong when I opened the CommuniTEA packet, but when brewed, the flavor is subtle yet still present. It's a nice, light tea.
This Blueberry White tea is the best! The aroma of blueberries is luscious. Sip this hot sip this cold either way it won't get old!
This tea in my CommuniTEA packet today has a pleasant blueberry scent. When sipped while hot, herbaceous white tea essence is strong with a nice ripe blueberry finish. As the cup cools, the tea takes a more subtle role with lingering blueberry finish. Steeped tea for 2:50 at 182° F. Personally, I prefer the green rooibos blueberry version to this tea.
The blueberry smell was strong when I opened the CommuniTea packet, but was only carried through a slight taste. Wish there was more blueberries or a cream somehow incorporated.
This tea smells and tastes more like a fruity berry candy than fresh blueberries, but in a good way. The white peony base is smooth with a light natural sweetness and sugary melon notes. It pairs really well with the blueberry flavor. Like other white teas this one is light and delicate, and I found the blueberry enhanced it rather than being too overpowering. I didn't get any actual blueberries in my CommuniTEA packet so that flavor may be stronger with them added. No bitterness at all, and a pleasant slightly dry finish. Really enjoyed this one and will definitely buy a bag of it.
White teas are usually too bland for my taste, but I was very pleasantly surprised by my CommuniTEA packet this morning! I seemed to be missing any actual berries in my packet, but the flavor didn't suffer for it.
Yes, the flavor is mild, which tends to be my experience in general with white teas, but the aroma was full and authentically blueberry (I find sometimes that blueberry-flavored items tend to have a more artificial smell and flavor) as was the flavor. This was really lovely!
