I brewed this with a pear. I saw a video of a Chinese wintertime remedy where silver needle is made with pear. I didn't want to overheat the tea, so I used a regular pot on the oven to boil the water with a peeled, sliced Anjou pear in it. Then, I added cold water until it reached the right temperature for brewing tea. It's currently my go-to breakfast treat.
Delicious and smooth tea. I’ve been bouncing between the Jasmine Silver Needle and the regular Silver Needle; both are amazing. The Jasmine scent and flavor is subtle, but comforting and smooth.

I'm a fan of white teas, and this is one of my favorites of the non-flavored varieties. If I'm wanting a smooth, light tea in the afternoon, is one of my choices. Delicate yet flavorful enough to be enjoyable. And being lower caffeine, I can enjoy this in the afternoon without trouble sleeping later.

This is a lovely, light jasmine tea. Other jasmine teas I've had tasted perfume-y, but not this one. I think the delicate white base is perfect for those who may not prefer floral teas for that reason.

I don't care for white tea's mild taste. All I can taste or smell of this is Jasmine. My daughter said it was like drinking a perfumed flower. I agreed, it wasn't to my liking.
CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 180 F. It's much lighter in flavor than the typical, jasmine green tea you might think of, but I enjoyed it and it had enough flavor that I got three infusions out of it! Some very soft, floral sweetness that blends with an almost milky note found within the white tea. It's not at all grassy, there's a tiny bit of dryness if you over steep it, but it all blends in a really nice way and it still is sweet and refreshing.
This is a very delicate and floral tea. No bitterness or astringency. Beautiful.
Update: I'm not a fan of floral teas, but this is tasty. It's light, not overwhelming, smooth and comforting.

Never really thought I would like white tea until I tried this one in the Communitea sample I received on my first order from Adagio. Turns out, I loved it! It's light and I don't feel like it needs any kind of sweetener.

Jasmine Silver Needle is so subtle and so soothing. If you're sensitive to caffiene, try it as an afternoon tea or even a morning tea. I always resteep the leaves at least twice! This is the perfect type of tea for enjoying cup after cup. If your taste buds find it too bland, this tea plays well with others. Try adding it to your favorite floral or fruity herbal tea. If you're more of a tea purist, brew with a green tea or oolong.

This tea is very unique for me it is a aromatherapy forward smell and a bright jasmine start with a almost caramel finish. It's light base, but it packs a punch of flavor. It might not be my absolute favorite jasmine tea, but it's up there.

Excellent tea! I was looking for a comparable tea to one that we used to get from a specialty store in our hometown and this is it. The aroma is amazing but not too strong in Jasmine. Just the right balance.

I am very partial to Silver Needle teas for their delicate fruity undertones and naturally sweet flavor. This was my first time trying the Jasmine variety, but it certainly won't be my last. It makes a perfect iced tea with a touch of wildflower honey in addition to being a cupful of comfort while served warm.

By far the most amazing Jasmine I have experienced. The silver needle adds a sharp dose of green to the Jasmine in a way you wouldn't normally expect. However the results are fantastic. Takes the Jasmine to a whole new elevation!
10/10 amazing silver needle tea. As a silver needle disciple already, the jasmine flavor takes it to the next level. I actually prefer this flavor compared to the more expensive silver needle varieties. Can take multiple brewings and retains amazing flavor. Caffeine without jitters.
