Great for sore throat when I'm feeling sick / ill

I tried this on a day I was having weather-related sore throat problems. I sweetened it with a liberal dose of honey for the additional soothing property. The result felt wonderful, immediately dulling the pain and clearing up my hoarseness. I like the taste of licorice, so I didn't mind sipping it as it cooled, but licorice is the predominant taste of the tea, and came through even when I'd been generous with the honey. So, if you're not the biggest fan of licorice, I'd say to drink it while it's hot and the taste is less noticeable.
Flavor isn't great, but it really helps sooth the throat.

Can't say it tastes or works better than any other throat herbal I've tried. The licorice taste is a bit strong for my preference, but I'm not a fan of licorice.
The flavor of this one is not my favorite, but it did actually help my throat hurt a little less.
My husband is a musician and I bought it for him to use before a gig! He’s tried other Throat Coat teas which were ok at best. Then he tried this one and LOVEDDD IT!! We have since purchased this tea as gifts for many of our musician friends who also love it! Tastes good and does what it’s suppose to!
I haven't had throat problems since I bought this, so I can't speak to how effective it is for relieving a sore throat. It is a spicy herbal blend. Don't buy if you aren't a fan of licorice.
This was not great tasting. There are other teas I would rather drink for a sore throat, licorice root is definitely an acquired taste.
Perfect tea or a singer s vocal chords or when allergy season causes that pesky throat scratch.
Can't say I love this tea, but it sure helps with a sore throat. I like to add some honey to it to give it more flavor.

This tea works well for singers! I like to steep a long time and drink just-warm (the very best for your cords!) It's pleasant enough but you don't drink this for that alone of course!

This is by far THE BEST for that dry, tickling, raspy winter cough that comes when the windows close and the heat kicks on and stays on. A great soother for the throat that is prone to that irritated-from-the-dry-air cough! Will keep in my pantry from late fall to spring for sure!
The peppermint in this is perfect. I like it even if my throat is fine!

Due to what is contained with it this tea isn't the most cost effective. The mix I received isn't the same as what is shown due to the higher preponderance of annis. Have a cold and this didn't last very long but was a welcome relief.
Does amazingly well at soothing a sore throat and helps to minimize coughing. My new go to for when I have a cold!

Highly recommend this for a sore throat, particularly soothing. I add honey as my sweetener for additional comfort on my tired singing voice, but probably doesn’t need any sweetener, or very little.
My sample didn't look anything like the advertised picture. The texture of the tea is like spider webs and very powdery. Not fresh at all!

This tea is maybe not the most tasty, but has helped both my husband and I soothe our scratchy throats . It reminds me of Chinese herbal medicine drinks but much milder and just as effective!
i did not like the taste; although most of the ingredients are enjoyable in other adagio creations.
Many customers have tried this over the winter and have said it does help their throat feel better and feel better all over generally.
This is one of my favorite teas from this site right now. I love the flavor (not medicinal at all and greatly enhanced by a touch of honey), and the smell is very pleasant. It works wonders on a sore throat, as one would hope.
It has a very strange quality to it that almost reminds me of getting curry.

I ordered this because I lost my voice. This tea tastes very strongly of licorice and raspberry, which isn't my favorite. It seemed like the oils were coating my throat. I'm not sure if it worked better than drinking tea in general, but I'm planning to give it another go when I strain my voice again.
I definitely should have tried this earlier when my cough first started...I think it would have saved me a bag of cough drops and a few days. Strong licorice flavor but it definitely helped!
