This is a now a part of my night time ritual. I was never a fan of chamomile before but this tea blend is very enjoyable before bes.
One cup before bed makes for an ideal way to unwind and lull yourself into a deep slumber.

Both my husband and I enjoy this so much! The spearmint smell is especially calming.
This tea is awesome. Slept like a baby. I loved the floral notes mixed with pepermint
Every night this lovely mix helps me wind down and get a good night's sleep.
I take a cup of this tea with a teaspoon of honey to bed almost every evening. I haven't needed to take melatonin since. It has a bit of mint to settle your tummy and the valerian, other herbs to help you relax. I have over 40 different teas in my cupboard and this is my go to every evening.
Good night time tea. Use extra leaves for full taste.
Love this herbal tisane. I mix it with something a little fruity to give it a tiny bit of natural sweetness. LOVE to open the back, it's very spearmint-y. Definitely one I buy in a 16oz.
I do not typically enjoy chamomile tea but I did like the mint addition to this tea.
This might be my favorite bedtime tea I've tried so far.
The first batch I got was delicious! Just a little sugar really brought out the spearmint flavor. The last batch I got wasn't as good. I think that the mix was a little different. I'm still enjoying it, just not quite as much.
I love this blend. It tasted great and was very relaxing. I've been struggling with insomnia and this really helps me.
Very relaxing blend! Can really taste lavender and chamomile notes!
Perfectly fine for a bedtime tea, but I've grown to have really high expectations of Adagio blends and this just wasn't exceptional to me.
This tea tasted pretty good and I did have a good nights sleep. My boyfriend said last night was the loudest he's ever heard me snore. haha!
Nice lovely flavor. It is perfect for a nice warm cup of tea before bed.
I’ve never been a good sleeper. This tea not only helped me fall asleep more quickly, but I slept better than I had in a long time!
The aroma is more pungent than expected (presumably from the valerian root), but the flavor is pleasantly floral with a mild earthiness. Strong notes of chamomile. A solid evening herbal tea.
Great for in the evening to help me unwind after a hectic day.
One mug of 40 winks equals two glasses of wine. By the time my mug was empty, I was nodding off on the sofa.
A pleasant evening tea before bed; relaxing and warm.
I during this every night to help me sleep. It taste okay, probably wouldn’t drink it if it didn’t help me sleep, but good enough to be enjoyable each night.
Very good tea for nighttime. I added a bit more peppermint to offset the taste of valerian root, now I really enjoy the taste
I'm not as big of a fan on this one, but this might be better for someone who loves lavendar!
A very relaxing blend. It definitely helps me get ready for bed. The flavor just isn't perfect for me, not my favorite. That's why I docked a star.
My favorite part of my bedtime routine! Doesn’t knock me out but falling asleep and staying asleep are more natural.
We love this tea; it’s the one tea we include in every single order. The smell is really pleasant and reminds me of the herbal teas I’d drink in Italy. Wonderful!
Great night time tea. Reminds me of celestial teas sleepytime
My Grandson and I have a cup of this every evening. It has been a delightful and DELICIOUS addition to out evening ritual. Light, calming flavor. The kind of tea enjoyed by all generations. Each evening not long after dinner. My 11 year old Grandson says "are you ready for our cuppa?" Thank you for the wonderful tea and for the new evening tradition.
I was pleasantly surprised by this. Tastes slightly minty, much like the bagged grocery store nighttime teas, but better. It did OK on helping me sleep.
Really nice woodsy chamomile tea. I enjoyed all the flavors that can be tasted like the lemon and mint.
A nice relaxing herbal cuppa. Nice when drank just black, would probably be even better with a little bit of honey. Will definitely try this again!
This is really good, I like the mint and medley of other flavors... perhaps it’s the cherry and lemon balm that I’m picking up on that I like. Docking a point for the chamomile since I’m not a fan, but am glad it’s not overwhelming the blend.
This tea isn’t bad for a valerian tea. It has several other ingredients to disguise that valerian taste. (I have several teas with valerian that are very potent since straight valerian smells like feet!)
This tea is so relaxing! It's like a weighted blanket for your soul. Take a deep breath, relax and sweet dreams!
It's a pleasant and soothing tea. I enjoyed the lavender in it, but I didn't feel that it stands out from other relaxing teas. It's still good, but not my favorite.
40 Winks definitely tastes like one of those 'drink it for a reason, not so much for fun' teas. The valerian gives it a strange but not entirely unpleasant taste. I personally would probably like it more if the chamomile weren't so pronounced. I prefer Daydream, for flavor, and it helps me sleep as well.
I like mint but I do not like chamomile. This tea made me miss my Daughter. As she would have loved this tea. The Chamomile was pretty strong for my taste. The mint was nice touch and helped.Even out some of the floral note.
This is my second review of this tea (as part of the communiTEA, I already bought it previously). I live this tea on nights I need help destressing and getting ready for bed. With a splash of milk and a good book or tv show I can unwind and get a good nights rest.
I normally find valerian root to have a really distinct (and unpleasant) flavor, but the mint and chamomile make this tea delicious!
I commented on how good this is after every sip. The chamomile flavor is very relaxing and grounding.
Calming. The flavors all pair nicely together in a soothing way. I'm nicely relaxed now.
I can see why this tea is one of Adagio's most highly-rated offerings. It's an exceptionally well-blended herbal tea with notes of mint and lavender primarily, backed up by earthy-sweet chamomile and honeybush. I don't know much about valerian or how potent it might be, so I waited until the evening to drink this. Hopefully it will help me sleep tonight! (10 mins @ 212 F, no sweetener)
This is one of those where if it were in the cabinets, I would finish it but I wouldn’t buy it again. Just not a fan of many that teas with lavender. It was a mild flavor but it and the mint together are really not my fave. If you like those flavors you might love this one.
If you like lavender, this is your tea for sure. The aroma is so soothing even before it’s tasted. The tea is subtle in flavor
Like a nice relaxing hot bath in a teacup. Soothing and calming...zzzzzzzzz
Heavy on the chamomile but the rest of this reminds me of cough syrup. I’m not sure what part of this puts me off so much but sniffing the cup makes me think of mosquito repellent. I seem to be in the minority here, and I’m disappointed because I usually love sleepy teas. Can’t win em all!
I love this tea. It is the perfect nighttime tea. It makes me relax and calm down before bedtime.
This smells TERRIBLE to me when it's still dry leaves, but once brewed, has a soft, soothing aroma and flavor.
Strongly herbal, but I find myself liking it. I think the mint helps a lot with the flavor of the chamomile and other sleep remedies.
Heavy on the chamomile which is understandable, although Inwould enjoy it more of it had a contrasting flavor to combat that. Overall pleasant tasting, can’t honestly say if it was beneficial or not.
