★★★★☆

its cute, it works perfectly, lid almost never gets hot. perfect solo tea pot, would give 5 stars but it holds about 1 1/2 cups of tea, so if youre making tea for two youll need to steep each cup separately or use smaller cups.

★★★★★

Low cost purple clay teapot -- you don't get the artwork of an original, but you do get an excellent little teapot that makes terrific tea! I use one for pu-erh, and the other for oolong.

★★★★★

Bought it as a gift for my significant other. She really likes it and it seems of good a
Quality

★★★★★

Great value for the price and does its job well. I dedicated mine to oolongs and have noticed that it is developing a distinct character as I continue to use it, just as yixing is supposed to.

★★☆☆☆

had to boil it 4 times (for over an hour each boiling) to get the mud smell out. absolutely a slipcast unglazed clay pot and not legitimately yixing. save your money and skip this one.

★★★★★

This pot the perfect size for my favorite mug, and a lovely color. Very smooth texture, and it works nicely with black teas.

★★★★☆

Great teapot. Small, cute, and easily usable. Unfortunately, after pouring, some tea drips down out of the spout making it a bit messy if not used on a towel.

★★★☆☆

It s a cute little pot but even after washing it (no soaps, just very hot water) it still altered the flavor of my tea (milk oolong) with a metallic/earthy flavor that I didn t get from that tea until using this pot. My only other complaint is that the size of the pot doesn t work very well with the 2 cup set, the cups are just too small for it. This pot holds enough tea to fill the tiny cups up 2-3 times over so if you are trying to brew gongfu style with steeps of only a few seconds you end up over-steeping the remaining tea while you try to suck back enough scalding tea to pour it out before it s ruined or you have to pour out the rest of the tea wasting over half of it, which for nice and pricey tea feels pretty dirty.

I had been looking for an authentic purple clay Yixing teapot for some time and was thrilled when I found this at Adagio Teas! I’ve been using it with my cake of pu’er tea I’ve had for a while and managed to brew the best pu’er I’ve ever had.

★★★★☆

I got this for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. the shape and structure is great in comparison to other teapots, and it's easy to clean without worrying about leaves getting trapped. I only wish that it was bigger because we enjoy big mugs of tea and this requires multiple steeps and a bit of patience.

★★★★★

I love this teapot! It's the perfect size for making a decent sized cup of tea, but not much more than that. I use it for pu-erh.

★★★★★

When you find your favorite dark sipping tea, this is the way to go.
First off, this teapot feels tiny. As someone who drinks tea in 16 to 32 oz portions, I was slightly mortified. However, you should be buying this pot with the cups. The cups force you to savor your tea.
A suggestion is to lower your steeping temperature. You will be pouring smaller portions, so your tea will be sitting in the pot longer. Depending on your tea of choice, this could lead to over steeping. While the pot has a well designed handle, the cups are relatively thin and transmit high temperatures.
I have used mine for yunnan noir. While a patina has yet to form, the tea turns out well.

I’m still working on getting this thing flavored but so far it has been perfect. Slow down enjoy what you put in this thing.

★★★★★

I love the Zibo Teapot! I got it to use for Oolong teas. I researched how best to use this teapot and learned that it is best to 'season' the pot made with this clay before using it to steep tea and only use for those specific teas (in my case, Oolong). I'm enjoying them very much in my Zibo teapot!

I've only had the pot for a few days, but it's already picked up the flavor of my chosen black tea really well (Bella Luna). It keeps it very warm as well, and filters out tea leaves well too. Great pot

★★★★☆

Beautifully crafted tea pot made of a dark pretty clay. Runs a little small.

★★★★★

I recently received this as a birthday gift, and I absolutely love it! I decided to immerse it in ti kuan yin and milk oolong to season it. it really helped improve the flavour of all teas I brewed afterward. The colour is absolutely gorgeous, and the craftsmanship is impeccable! I use this whenever I brew oolong and pu-erh teas, and they taste remarkably better when brewed in the pot.

★★★★★

This was a gift for a friend who adores it. She had to boil it twice to get the grit out, but it's working well. She is using it for green tea.

★★★★★

Cute little pot. I plan to use it for my morning cup of Golden Monkey tea.

★★★★★

What a cute wee teapot this is! It arrived intact, packaged with such care - I'm impressed. It appears well-crafted, the top fits snugly and there's a cute little adagio symbol engraved in the clay on the bottom. As designed, when I cover the tip of the spout with my fingertip and turn the pot upside down, the lid does indeed remain on the pot and the tea does not leak from the vent in the lid. Awesome! I had planned to purchase this teapot; anticipating that, I saved my used tea leaves (in the freezer) to season the pot with - oolong tea is not cheap! I'm still in the process of seasoning, so I will update when I've used the teapot to note whether it enhances the tea's flavor as claimed. One thing I have noted: as I soak the pot in the tea leaves, it is slowly absorbing the oils and changing from a plain clay scent to tea scent. Very nice little pot.

★★★★★

Love the look & the way it brews the tea. Plan on getting another.

★★★★★

This is such a lovely teapot, it's a bit smaller in size which was expected but it actually holds a decent amount of tea and works splendidly!

★★★★★

A quality teapot for a decent price—unfortunately the handle on mine broke off shortly after I got it, but this was due to a case of recklessness on my part, and has nothing to do with the manufacturing. It's excellent for Gong Fu brewing for a group of maybe 2 to 4, or for brewing a large cup for one person.

★★★★★

Love the looks, easy to use. Size is not a problem for me and the size seems appropriate considering the size of the cups.

★★★★★

This little pot is fabulous! It is sturdy but not so heavy that you struggle to lift it up. A perfect addition to my teas.

★★★★★

I am enjoying this cute little teapot..I do plan an getting the Harbin as well..I use vanilla and almond based oolong in this one, and using it is actually quite relaxing

★★★★★

This teapot is perfect for serving Chinese tea that is brewed perfectly, sipped in small amounts and enjoyed with a friend.

★★★★★

Great teapot for my milk oolong tea, and I loved the suggestion by another buyer of pouring the first cup over the outside.

★★★★★

This is a lovely little teapot. I've been seasoning it with a nice oolong and it's coming along well. Beautiful addition to my teapot collection.

★★★★★

To clarify: intended for multiple steepings and small cups. Never wash with soap, just rinse with water. The lovely patina will build up faster if you condition the outside of the pot with tea as well as the inside -put a towel or tea tray underneath and either pour over your first cup of tea, or fill to the brim so the lid causes some overflow.

I bought the Zibo specifically for the Milk Oolong tea. It's a great teapot that keeps the tea at a decent temperature and pours easily without dripping. My only complaint is that it just feels fragile. Definitely a teapot to keep safe at home.

★★★★★

I love this little pot! I bought the cups to go with it, as the pot itself was a gift. It is indeed a tiny pot, but it's just perfect for what I want to use it for.

★★★☆☆

No ability to seal around the lid. Otherwise perfectly attractive and functional pot.

★★★★☆

I've been wanting a clay teapot for quite a while now. This is a good starter one. quality is good for one mass produced. Good pour with no dripping, lid fits nicely. I got the matching cups, so can have a real gong fu session. I am reserving this for my oolong teas

This teapot is perfect and very cute! When it arrived we couldn't wait to make tea. The strainer on the teapot works well. I bought the zibo cups to complete the teapot - looks perfect on my bamboo tea tray.

★★★★★

Sent this to a friend for Christmas and to celebrate the completion of some renovations to her home. She loves it!

★★★★★

Well made tea pot that can be used for pu-erhs and oolongs that you would like to steep multiple times. Clean with boiling water. The cups are also worth the extra $10 dollars.

★★★★★

Love this so much I bought one for a friend and she loves it too! Makes a good sized cup of tea.

★☆☆☆☆

This teapot is beautiful but only holds about 1 cup of water, it has no mesh holder to hold the loose leaf tea and it is not as big as it seems online. There is no mention online to the size of the teapot or how much it holds, this is a little teapot for one person.

This little teapot is so stinkin' cute, it really is going to become a 'pet teapot.' I'm still trying to come up with an appropriate name. That aside, the color is a chocolate-y purple, if you can dig it. As far as functionality, it's perfect!! The lid seals well, it pours beautifully, and I cannot wait for it to develop its patina. <3 I've decided to use this one for my Yunnan teas, but I really want to get the Harbin one as well for Ti Quan Yin. Ahh!!

I received the Zibo teapot as a gift and immediately got the two cups that go with it. Hands down, this is the best teapot I've had.

★★★★★

This is the cutest little teapot ever. It's just adorable, really. The pot is well constructed with a tight seal, and the cups stack nicely. The purple clay really does look purple under light, too. I've decided to dedicate mine to my unflavored green teas.

Such a cute yixing pot! I have it reserved for using my favorite oolong. :-)

★★★★★

This teapot is amazingly adorable, I don't think I can put it down, I love it!

★★★★★

This is an adorable little teapot. It is really tiny, but the description does say it only holds 10 oz so the small size is to be expected. I plan to use it as a decoration, grouped with the other two tiny pots.
