Wow this tin holds quite a bit of loose tea. I like the way the lid locks down. No chance of air getting in, or tea spilling out. @adagioteas

An excellent way to store your teas! I like that if you have more than one of these containers, you can stack them.
These tins are fantastic. Such a handy way of storing tea. I wish the tea bags had peel-off labels that could easily be peeled off and stuck to the tins, but I just cut the labels up and stick them on with scotch tape, and it works just fine. I highly recommend these tins for tea storage. Easy to use, well made, and the tea stays well preserved and visible.
Again, these make organizing your teas, rock salt, etc sooooo eady and convenient. Only problem is, I need more 🙂

They're tins. They hold tea that you're going to brew later. It's good. Everything's fine
They started out as really cute and handy but I the gaskets and the plastic on the lid is really odd. I store the black grapefruit tea in them and just loved them at first and then the plastic coating on the lid got all bubbly and etched. I don't know if it reacted to the tea or what but it looks really gross. Additionally, I am keep the tins in the house which is somewhat climate controlled and the gaskets are constantly changing in size. One day they are too big and spill over the edge of the lid and it won't close properly so I'll take all of the tea out and and put it on the shelf and then it comes back to size and fits in the lid again and will close properly. It is like they are super sensitive to humidity or something. Since we are working form ho9me, we keep the AC on all the time so there is not great fluctuations in temperature, but it is really annoying. If it were not for the plastic gaskets and plastic lids, this product would be really great, but I think they do not have a consistent reliable plastic manufacturer that makes the lids and gaskets, it's a shame because otherwise I would love them. I had a similar experience with my VelociTEA which I LOVE but very shortly after purchase the plastic tab on the tea basket broke (the part you use to pick it up every time you make tea). I contacted Adagio as it was still under warranty and they said that part was not covered. I had to work to super glue it together to try to make it usable but it led me to believe that their source for plastic components is not consistent or reliable. There are other great reviews on this product and I would have loved it but the etched bubble plastic lid now looks gross and the ever changing size of the gasket is really annoying.

I hesitated to buy these because I purchased the smaller set twice already in yellow. I purchased these in blue and I am not disappointed! They hold a good amount of tea, I d say about one mason jar worth (because that s what I had my tea in before!). The blue color is outstanding and they saved a lot of room. I also wanted one to hold the few types of iced tea I have.
Love these! They seal well and are very high quality. I love that it has a see-thru top. I need more of these for my different teas!

Long story short they just simply just aren't air tight. If you look it's visibly clear. There's a rubber gasket lining the entire circumference of the lid. This gasket is what is supposed to make the canisters air tight when they create a seal with the canister when being locked down. When you lock the lid down the gasket gets pressed down and seals near where it gets locked in, the way it's supposed too. However, near the back where the hinge is located there is a gap that lets air in. When looking closely about a 3rd of the gasket isn't even making contact with the canister. If you're buying these hoping they will be air tight, they aren't. All three I purchased had the same design flaw so I doubt mine were just defective, they're just made poorly this way. I love Adagio's tea, but these are cheaply made and poorly designed tins that will not keep your tea any fresher. Returned mine as soon as I got them, don't waste your time.
These tins are smaller than I imagined, and I'm having a hard time believing that they accommodate 8 ounces! I ended up needing to split my 8 oz bags of tea between two of the containers, because short of crushing my teas into a fine powder, I don't see how they could possibly have all fit into a single '8 oz' tin.
Aside from that one complaint, though, I am really loving these tins. The colors are bright and cheerful, the lid is easy to use, and I love that they mostly protect the teas from light, while still giving you a clear lid so you can see the tea inside. All in all, it's a great product!
They are a convenient, nice-looking way to store loose tea. I was able to easily able to fit a 3 oz bag of tea with a little room to spare in case you have samples to add to it.
These tins are great. While they aren't the most aesthetic, the seal seems good and the mouth is wide enough to easily scoop tea out or pour tea in.
Great size for tins for teas and easily wipes out if you want to swap out what tea is inside.

I have several of these and give them as gifts. They're sturdy, seal perfectly and easy to clean.
I've been looking for new tea tins, so I recently bought some of the 8oz and 4 oz tins on Adagio. These tins are spectacular. They have good lids - I cannot believe how many 'tea' tins have awful lids - come in multiple colors and they're stackable.
That said, I found the 4 oz tins to be much more convenient - obviously that comes down to personal preference and the space where you store your tea.
These are the perfect tins! The colors are super fun and the size is perfect for all of my loose tea. The best part is the see-through tight fitting lid that lets me see what is inside without having to open it.
Love these, I just hope the cover stays working. It seems a bit flimsy for what it is!
Good quality tea tins. They hold a large amount of tea and are an attractive color.
I LOVE THESE. Really. I LOVE THESE. I haven t figured out my ideal color system just yet, but these are the perfect size for the decent size bags (but not the uber bags), and you can stack a 4 oz one on top.
I love these tins in both the large and small size. I own several. They are airtight.
Just like the smaller tins, these are fabulous. You can stack them if you wanted to. The seal keeps everything nice and fresh. Love the clear lid and color options for the tins. I only wish I could stack the smaller ones on top of these. I have a few sets now in my collection.
Well made, but not completely airtight sealed, so I would worry about long term storage (1 yr+). That being said, I would never store tea in it that I didn't intend to drink in the next year. I really like the design of these tins and will likely buy more in the future.

I love these tins. I wish there were larger ones that would hold the full 16 ounces, but I genuinely use these daily to store my favorite teas.
I have been looking everywhere for tins, but so many are horribly expensive. Adagio s tins are a great tin, provide a great seal and are at a great price. These are a great option to store tea.

Tin has a solid seal and sound construction. The top is slightly domed and clear so you can see which tea is inside.
I like being able to see what's inside through the clear top.

I love, love, love these tins! They are small enough to fit perfectly in my cupboard and when I order some of the bulk teas, I can fit the entire bag in the three pack of containers. And they really keep the tea fresh! I have all the colors and coordinate them with flavors of tea (like strawberry in red, blackberry in the blue, etc.). But I might have to start labeling them with so many teas to choose from!
For how much they hold, these take up a remarkably small amount of space. They re cute and seal up perfectly.
I mean, it's a tea tin. It's hard to really critique something like this, but it does the job well, and they look quite nice on my countertop.
Love the way this keeps my teas fresh as the day I bought them. Also keeps all the moisture out of my sugar that I store in one of these. Used one of these to put my sample loose leaf teas in as well.
