Had to send back the first set due to cracked lids, but they were cheerfully exchanged and the replacements contained a small sample of a tea I hadn't tried. Because of the ease of exchange, I would order again.

These tins are very easy to open, but they have a tight seal when closed. I have a weak hand, so I really value this feature. The tins held half a pound of compact teas but much less of the un-curled leaf teas like Adagio's white teas. I usually buy the teas that I like by the pound, so I got two tins for each pound so my tea would be well-stored but easy to access.

Perfect for storing tea! This is great if you want to buy 2 3oz bags and store them. They seal wonderfully and are high quality!
I love this big tins, I keep the sugar crystals in them and it is just perfect. Will buy the smaller ones for my blends.

These look great and securely hold the tea. My only word of caution is to remember that the 8oz is the total of the can. it cannot hold 8oz. Also, white tea takes up a lot more space, so don't try to put 7oz of white tea in this.
These are ok. They get a nice tight seal on them. I do worry that being see through on the top might affect the tea quality. I don't keep teas around long enough to notice a difference, though. .)
At first I was using mason jars to store my tea flavors, but once I found that Adagio had the 8 oz. tins, I decided to purchase, and was happy with my decision. The only caviat, is that I love a few of the flavors enough to purchase 16 oz., and I have to store in several containers. Otherwise, lovely tins! Oh and i gave my sister a green tin with gyokuro tea. I was surprised by her happy response to getting a tin. She loved it! Good to know.
I recently purchased two boxes of 3 tins. We've only used the three green ones. I love them but had a problem with one of then only after having opened it three times, the plastic broke and now the tin cannot be closed. We will wait to see if that happens with the other tins. Like one of the other previous reviewers, it would be nice to be able to purchase an assorted pack with one of each color or to just be able to purchase them individually.
Love the tins! I have the regular 4 oz. tins and the tall 8 oz. tins (for the couple of teas that get heavy rotation and go fast in our house). Air-tight, UV proof, love them!
It's weird that Adagio sells tins in sizes that don't match the portions they sell their tea in, but besides that, this is a simple and attractive product and not a bad choice if you need somewhere to put your tea.
The larger tins are great for storing bulky items like lemon grass or favorites we go thru quickly.

I purchased these tins to hold my blended teas, and they are perfect! They are a good size, so they're best suited to the 10-oz or larger bags of tea.

They're nice tins and seem to seal well. They're a strange size, though, since they're way too large for 4 ounces of most teas but too small for 16 ounces.
Love them great way to store the tea just kinda wish they had a way to lable the container with contents and brewing reccomendations. To get around that problem I just bought the sticky labels from the store.
I love these..and the colors are great. all you need to do is sell a labeling kit to go with them!
I use these for my favorite everyday teas and chai blends. To label them, I put a piece of clear tape on the back and wrote the blend name and steeping directions. I only wish the top wasn't transparent, since that limits where I can store them in my sunlight-filled kitchen.
Love these, I have about a dozen of them. They keep my insane tea selection organized. I would like them to come a little larger for some teas that are lighter per pound, they could be a few inches taller and easily fit in my cupboard.
Although I'm not thrilled, these tins will work perfectly well. The tops of the lids arrived slightly scuffed, and the daffodil looks like a carmel color online but is actually orange. I wish there was an option to buy four tins, one in each color. Then I could keep green tea in the green canister, black tea in the blue canister, etc.

FINALLY! I was able to organize my most valuable mess, tea. I had the smaller version of these but they didn't cut it for actual long term storage. And the Best part is that they are still stackable. Now use your growing ray on the glass one.

Tins are great. It makes storage so much easier and organized. I put my own pictures on the tins and just open the cupboard and there they are for my morning selection. I am very pleased.

I was rather shocked when I found out that the teas used to come in tins like this, wish they still did.
So far they seem well made. I don't have much to compare them to, but as long as they keep the air out I'm satisfied!
Great construction and quality. It might be just a little undersized. Only held about 6-7oz of my tightly packed Earl Grey. I actually enjoy the under sizing as it has the same footprint of the smaller tins, allowing for easily configurable storage. Best value for well made tins I found.
Very well-made tins, I'd definitely recommend them if you don't like using bags for tea. My only gripe is the packaging - I slid scissors along the tape that was holding the box closed, and accidentally scratched the tops of every one. :( Be careful when opening the box since there is virtually no padding.
Just love these tins. Easy to open and seal. Very nice to be able to see my tea through the clear top.
I love these tins! Bought the grasshopper ones to match my kitchen. They are a bit of an awkward size as most of the larger sized loose leaf teas Adagio offers are 16 oz. The smaller being 3 oz. There's either a lot of empty space in the tin or two tins are needed to fit a larger tea purchase. Nevertheless, I'll probably buy more of these.
I was worried about the colours. I picked daffodil as it looked like it would fit perfectly in my kitchen, but you are never quite sure when you see a digital picture online. As soon as I opened the package I was in love. I fits perfectly and helps clear valuable space in my tea drawer.
These are great because I enjoy being able to see my tea, I'm glad they have fun colors now!
At least since customers are paying for it, you can now choose colors and sizes. Same tin you've come to expect with nice bright colors. No special place to write, but that never really worked all that well for me anyhow.
I love the tins. Bought a special cart to hold them. Already need a second cart. I like having choices of colors.
