Perfect size spoon! I can level it off and it fits in the container I keep my loose tea. I use this spoon everyday. Great for measuring for a cup a tea.
We've taken the guesswork out of balancing your tea-to-water ratio with these perfectly portioned Adagio Teas Tea Spoons.

Perfect size spoon! I can level it off and it fits in the container I keep my loose tea. I use this spoon everyday. Great for measuring for a cup a tea.
Gets the perfect portion of leaves! I love this little spoon and the clip is extra handy.
I love this spoon. It’s cute and it assures I use a consistent amount of tea.
It’s a perfect Tea Spoon. I love the long handle.
Perfect measurement for teas. Plus side, a dedicated spoon.
The best $5 I ever spent. It is so nice to have a measuring spoon just for tea. I have no idea why I waited so long to get one.
I love this tea spoon! It’s been a great addition to my tea accessories. I was using a plastic oblong shaped teaspoon prior to this. The Adagio teaspoon work better for scooping tea leaves.
I got the one with the clip. It's really convenient and does it's job well.
What a cute little teaspoon! I now have a teaspoon specifically for my Adagio tea and the long handle on the clipped teaspoon allows me to get to the bottom of the bigger bags. Love it!
I absolutely love this spoon. It's the perfect size scoop and fits perfectly in my travel tea bag.
I love having a dedicated spoon for tea! Nice, solid feel, and it's nice to have an accurate measurement now, rather than just guessing with a cereal spoon!
Great spoon. Utilitarian. Not much you can say about a spoon.
Convenient in size, I use it daily to measure out my looseleaf :)
Had to get an extra one because I keep losing the first one. It's great for faster steeps when it's okay to just eyeball it. If you're steeping sencha or gyokuro, I'd recommend getting a sensitive electric scale, but this is great for the everyday quickie pots!
I am new to loose tea and love having a dedicated measuring spoon.
Update 09/24/21: I now have two of my own, considering a third(!), and I purchase one to include when gifting an infuser to friends. Really indispensable tool. I haven’t found anything better for simultaneously scooping and measuring tea.
Great spoon for measuring tea and most importantly clipping to the pouch of tea so I can find it : )
This worked better than expected. I got the regular spoon (no clip) as I have a little holder for stirring spoons and infusers and whatnot, so the clip was unnecessary for me. But the spoon...the spoon is great! It s deeper than a regular teaspoon from your measuring spoons or your silverware selection. It s actually able to scoop up dry leaves, whereas those other options can t really catch much given their depth. For teas with long leaves, you ll still have a little trouble. I just use two scoops of those, IF I feel there wasn t enough in the first. Truly, this thing does grab plenty of tea, though. In my Oolongs and my whites, I was shocked by how well this scooped out tea. But for herbals (which is what I drink most of) this little spoon comes out packed to the brim with no ingredients flipping and flopping all over the place.
I know, you re saying: Erin, it s a SPOON. And you re RIGHT. Can you make do without it? Duh, of course, you can. But is this spoon easier to use and actually good at scooping tea? YES. AMAZINGLY SO. Coffee people have special scoops for coffee, so I shall enjoy my special spoon for tea.
I use this spoon not just for my loose leaf teas but to also measure out my rock sugar.
While I generally weigh tea, I love having dedicated spoons to put it on the scale. I got one of each, but thus far I really haven't used the clip. The spoons themselves are substantial and well made. If I was to buy them again, I'd probably go with the non-clip version.
This is the perfect spoon to measure my tea! I love it!
I was a wee bit disappointed because I had ordered the spoon with the long handle and the clip, but instead I was sent the short-handled spoon. But it turns out it's so darn adorable that I love it too much to return it for the right one. Either way, these spoons are sturdy, easy to clean, and aesthetically pleasing. And did I mention cute? It's just really cute. I love using it to scoop my tea every day.
It's a spoon. It works and is easier than whatever I was doing before. I have some quite long/large teas from elsewhere that may be an issue with this spoon, but it's great for everything I've tried it with.
I have the 'teaspoon with clip'. The spoon is convenient and good-quality. However, this measures more than 1 standard teaspoon (approximately 5ml). Compared to actual measuring spoons this is more than 1 teaspoon but less than 1 tablespoon (approximately 15ml). It's probably closer in size to 2 measuring tablespoons (approximately 10ml)
I've been using a cooking teaspoon to scoop out my tea leaves; that one has a much shallower bowl that works well for spices but not tea. This teaspoon has a much deeper bowl that works really great for looseleaf-style tea.
Nice, heavy duty spoon that you can clip to your bag after measuring. Convenient if you are forgetful and misplace like I do.
Elegant and beautiful to look at. Easy to clean by hand or with a washer. I ordered two!
It's a spoon, it does what it says. I got the kind without the clip, and it's easy to clean. I had a scoop like this at home already that came as a part of a tea set someone gifted me years ago, but needed one to keep at the office. This has been perfect for that
Perfect for scooping. I use this multiple times everyday.
This teaspoon was exactly what I needed to make the perfect cup of tea.
This is the perfect spoon for nearly every tea. My favorite part is the clip!
I love this! I am so bad at measuring my tea and this is really helpful.
It's actually got me reviewing a spoon. 5/5 would buy again, absolutely life changing as I had previously been scooping tea out of the bags with some twigs I found outside. You'll never go back.
This is the perfect scoop. Gets the perfect amount every time. Better than my teaspoons
Perfect for English style teas. Measures the desired amount. Also the perfect size to fill my tea ball
I got the shorter of the spoons, the one without the clip. It is very useful since it's just the right size. The shape is better than a regular measuring spoon for scooping out the tea mixes. And it's helpful; now I don't have to use the measuring spoons from the drawer!
Perfect for loose tea! Also helps clip my bags for extra freshness.
It's a spoon. It works as you expect. Very sturdy, As a novice tea drinker, this helped take a lot of the guesswork out for me, which I appreciate.
A great measuring spoon with a substantial feel. I keep it with my tea and use multiple times per day to measure out my tea.
Love this little teaspoon! Very sturdy & makes the perfect cup of tea!
Literally the perfect spoon. The one without the clip is a bit short but I am ok with that, I might order the other one with the clip for a variety and for longer bags. Much better than the regular teaspoon I was using which did not hold the leaves very well and thus I did not get proper measurements.
I like this spoon for the larger loose leaf bags that I have.
A very useful little spoon! It definitely gets the job done, and it works well for me in my situation.
It gets a lower rating for two reasons. One, I really wish the handle were longer. I often buy my tea from Adagio in the medium (usually 3oz) bags, and the spoon is a bit shorter than the height of the bag, which makes it very awkward once the tea starts getting low enough. (Still useable! But awkward.) The other thing that makes this spoon a little tricky to use is that it's not actually a one-teaspoon teaspoon. I think the bowl of this spoon holds 2 tsp, which does make it easier to actually scoop up some of the more clumsy tea (ie, anything with lemongrass in it), but also makes it harder to measure what I'm scooping. There's a lot of eyeballing and guesswork involved--which, fair enough, that's how teamaking goes, but it's worth knowing!
It’s a little teaspoon with ”adagio teas” on it. It’s not special, but it cute and perfect for scooping out perfect amounts for a cup of tea! It’s also great to get to make a cute little starter set for someone.
This Tea Spoon is fit for a Queen. It glides into the tea bag with no issue of getting stuck along the sides. As I scoop Adagio's perfectly prepared tea leaves I am amazed how the spoon captures all the right pieces as if it were designed to give me every ingredient of every blend in one scoop. I didn't think it was possible to love a spoon so much, but man this one is a game changer! I bought the spoon without a clip and I am so glad I did. After using this beautifully shaped and glamorously shiny Tea Spoon I quickly place it in my handy tea accessory bowl ready to use for the next tea time and the next tea time and the next tea time. I haven't had to wash this thing of beauty yet, because It is only in contact with dry ingredients. However, if I do ever need to wash it I would never put it in the dishwasher. Handwashing is the only way for something so smoothly fit for a Queen. Do I recommend this Tea Spoon to everyone? Yes! This is the Tea Spoon that should be the standard for ALL Tea Spoons! A Tea Spoon that is perfectly shaped to fit any hand, rounded enough to hold the larger sized ingredients, shiny and sleek enough to put on display in your castle for your next banquet to awe every guest. This is how all Tea Spoons should be, but if they were all like this none would be this special. I frequently dream of having tea with the Queen, but only if I could bring my Adagio's Tea Spoon!
Great spoon! Not much else to say, but it works way better than a regular spoon. I like to use it for sugar mostly.
Perfect! Love this. Sturdy and easy to clean. Will likely buy another.
Great Spoon, the handle could be a bit longer for getting into your packets though.
Got this as a present for someone, now debating getting one for myself because it works wonders for both tea and coffee.
Love this long spoon! It’s perfect for my tea canister. I’m going to order another!
This spoon gives perfect measurements every time.
