Wanted to love this for its simple modern clean design. But it arrived with one corner open. It makes wonder about the quality of the timer I general. very disappointed.

Timing is so important for success in making tea. Just flip it and sit down to read, glancing up to check progress; at age 88 definitely worth the investment! Should have hd one years ago!!

A very nice sizeable timer that would be wonderful even for a sight impaired tea lover. No dead batteries that need to be replaced, no malfunctioning, & no annoying loud ding. I admit I delayed purchasing this after seeing it & now it is one of my most favorite tea support iitems. So much better & easier than setting a digital timer. I love my sand timer!

A fun little timer. It's not perfectly accurate but I like little timers that help me keep track of quick cooking functions and light teas. It is a fairly chonky-sized tea timer, so it's easy to see and it won't get lost on counter-top clutter.
I bought this as a way to have fun with my 5 year old to enjoy the process of making tea and it worked, she loves it!

Good heft, but not heavy. Not likely to get knocked off the counter by a swift breeze to accidentally knock off the counter but isn’t so heavy it’s cumbersome. So much more pleasant than setting an alarm on my phone and getting sucked online.

I really enjoy Adagio's aesthetic - this sand timer is stylish yet functional. I really enjoy the green and black sand for the various tea types. I timed both against a kitchen timer and my phone timer. The green was accurate to about 2 seconds and the black was closer to 3 seconds. Either way, this is a fun electricity free accessory to make brewing excellent tea easier.
This is the third one of these I've ordered, so that I can make three different cups of tea at once when I have guests drinking different types of tea!
Accurate enough, fragile though. It's nice for the ritual of making tea, but don't even consider this if your surfaces aren't nice and clear, or you have a tendency to get distracted.

Very cute, and nice to have as an alternative to trying to remember what the time was when you started your brew. It's not super duper accurate, but it's definitely good enough for tea brewing, especially since for teas I drink often I'll check the color to make sure it's been steeped sufficiently. It's a nice object d'art to have in the kitchen :)
Very elegant looking on my countertop! Such a unique design, I love that the sand is colored for it’s type of tea, I can pop my head in the room and see how long I have from a distance.
The sand timer is a great tool for steeping your tea! Just flip it and watch the sand fall through the hourglass - it's very relaxing. I really prefer it to other timers because the digital ones make an annoying beep and just really interrupt my Zen tea time. I would recommend the sand timer to anyone who enjoys Adagio's green and/or black teas,
Besides being the cutest accessory to grace my kitchen counter, it is literally the most helpful tool I have! The color coding is brilliant and I adore how it makes my tea time just a little bit easier, instead of trying to set a timer on my phone or watch.

Larger than I expected, but that's not a bad thing. An elegant way to time a brew.
Good, quality timer. Only downside is that the wood is not finished, so it will easily absorb oil or other liquids and show stains.
Works as intended. Was hoping you could operate the timers independently but they do the job and it's fun watching!
