This came in perfect condition. I should have anticipated the nice heft it has! If you have weak wrists like I do, just be aware. This teapot is great. I used it brew some chocolate chai mixed with my fav Pride (in the Fandoms) tea. It turned out great. I had to be a little careful removing the basket, but I used the toaster tongs for that without much trouble. On its own, it doesn't keep it the exact same temperature as it was brewed but it does keep it quite warm for a while! I also tried it on our stove's warming center too. When it's moved to that right after brewing, it stays at that nice hot, not just fairly warm, temperature a lot longer (and never gets near cool). I appreciate how easy to clean this is. I love anything glazed as my ADHD makes it really difficult to clean on low energy/spoons day. All in all, it's a perfect addition to our kitchen. I love putting it on our open shelf next to our pumpkin and cauldron serving dishes.

Beautiful pot! This pot keeps my tea piping hot (I put a hot pad over the top to help keep the heat in). The first pot came with a crack in the ceramic coating. I sent a picture to Adagio customer service and they sent another pot. This one had a larger crack. I am very familiar with Adagio products and they are usually top notch so I think this is just a bad lot of tea pots. I can still use the pot, it is just outside damage and very small. Adagio sent me a gift card in the amount of the tea pot. Excellent customer service.

This teapot is excellent, and I'm very glad I purchased it. It's strong and sturdy and I know it will last a long time. It's very convenient for boiling and steeping, and keeps your tea warm for a longer amount of time than teapots I've used in the past.

2022 June: I've had this teapot for very near two years, and I still love it. No problems at all. At one point I thought the coating inside was peeling or some such; but it turns out it was just build up from the tea. I have to scrub the inside really well - I don't keep track how often, maybe once a year or so.
