I purchased these adorable daffodil yellow teacups to add to my rainbow of cups collection. They are a perfect size for enjoying multiple cups of your favourite Adagio Teas.
arrived broken. no response from adagio about getting a replacement.
update: got a response. was told I was lying and never contacted them. They then refused to include an item not included in my shipment.
Daffodil yellow is such a bright happy color. I purchased another color for a gift and loved hers so much I had to buy one for myself. It’s a great size for a huge pot for one or share a cuppa for 2. I like how the lid handle is flush with the pot but the lid does not fit secure especially if the infuser basket is not in the teapot. However, obviously not a big issue for me since I have now purchased 2. She is a sturdy little teapot!
I bought this because the Ingenuitea pots weren't coming back into stock. I find that-- while the ingenuitea pots are handy and fun-- this has WAY less of a chance to leak. It also has a slightly larger size than those pots-- an unexpected perk!
This is a review for the yellow cups, which are so darn cute! I bought both pink and yellow cups so that my husband and I could use our favorite colors when we sip. These cups are about 1 cm wider in diameter compared to basic store-bought Chinese teacups, and almost as tall. The colors are bright and fun and the cup fits perfectly in my hand. It holds heat well and doesn t burn my fingertips as quickly as a basic no-handle cup, but I still like to keep the tea a bit from the rim so that I can have a cooler grip. The smooth porcelain feels great in my hand and on my lips without being too slippery. And I love the white inside which lets me fully appreciate the color of my tea. This cup has substance and elegance. I think this is my favorite tasting cup. Well done, Adagio! @adagioteas

I love this teapot! It's a super cheerful yellow, and the lid stays on nicely when I pour. I thought it might be a bit big at first, but it carries nicely and the strainer is deep enough to easily brew half a pot if I'm not feeling like a lot of tea. I get about 2 mugs worth of tea from this pot when it's 'full' (I don't fill to the tip-top to keep the tea from sticking to the lid). I did notice the dribble others have mentioned, but it's only a few drops, it doesn't always happen, and it's no worse than I've had with other teapots from time to time.
I also bought the matching teacups which are also cheery. I find they are a good size for when I want to drink from a pot of tea - the capacity is similar to the Japanese teacup I have. I like the width for when I want the tea to cool off fairly quickly in order to drink it once poured, but it still fits nicely in my hand(s) - and I have small hands!
This teapot is bright and cheery but I keep spilling when pouring. I might be pouring too fast but it drips where the spout meets the base. I've only used it twice so far.
Pretty color of yellow, had a huge basket for those fluffy teas. 💛 great pot for a great price!

These cups are really cute and go well with the pot. I mixed and matched the colours of the pot and cups to make it more fun for my children. I got the sky blue pot with these lovely sunny cups. The yellow is, in my option, the perfect cheery yellow, and the size of these cups are great for little hands as well as big ones.
A bit more 'highlighter' yellow than I expected, but still adorable!

This teapot is ideal! I made a pot after dinner (first use) and my boyfriend and I were pleased with how long it retained heat. I ordered matching tea cups. Daffodil is a very bright and cheery color. The teapot and cups are winners!!!

This teapot is super cute - I've received lots of compliments on it at work. It's nice being able to make a whole pot of tea all at once, and I appreciate that (minus the infuser) it's microwave safe. What really blew my mind was the way the lid can be used to hold the infuser once you've finished steeping the tea. Probably the only downside is that the inside of the pot is white, so it shows stains pretty easily.
My teapot arrived today. I really love it. Makes a good amount and keeps the tea pretty warm. If I had my way I’d have a small collection of these in different colors.
Love it except...
1. it dribbles when you pour
2. the basket is hard to get out when your done steeping the tea
otherwise I love this teapot, it was exactly what I was looking for

I am so glad they finally have them in yellow! I just wish the mugs came in yellow too.
