This teapot is very nice on the table for a guest or just me. My tea stays hot until it finish it all. I am happy with it.
Inspired by traditional Japanese teaware, these Tetsubin-style teapots are made of heavy cast iron that will keep your tea hot for up to an hour.

I haven’t actually used this teapot yet, so I have no idea how good it is at brewing tea, but I’m already disappointed. For the price of $69, I was expecting a normal sized teapot. What I got was a tiny thing that might brew 2 cups of tea. I do not recommend this product.
This is my favorite tea pot. It keeps the tea warm for quite a while and looks so nice sitting on my counter.
This thing is gorgeous, just the right size for two cups of tea in a normal 12 oz mug with room for cream. The brew basket fits perfectly and has very nice microperforations that keep the leaves and smaller bits of herbal tea out of the brew (a problem with a lot of mesh strainers) and it fits perfectly with the lid. The brew basket is also large enough for the leaves to unfurl completely. Best yet, the handle doesn't get hot, and the knob has a ceramic coating so you don't burn your fingers. I'd give this teapot more than 5 stars if I could, it's fantastic!
This tea pot does what it says it will, keeping tea warm much longer than the usual ceramic vessel. However, I will say it also forced me to drink my tea more slowly, which I m sure can be a good thing, but caffeine fiend that I am, I got impatient with the experience and switched back to my regular mug before long. I shall have to find the appropriate time to use this tea pot, perhaps in the afternoon when I drink green tea at a more leisurely pace, or maybe among friends once we all start going outside again.
Also note that the knob on the lid is the same color but not the same material as the tea pot. I m sure this is necessary to prevent burnt fingers, but I would have liked to know that when choosing a design; I d ruled out other ones with a black knob thinking this red one was uniform and therefore more aesthetically pleasing, but in reality the red knob is flat-colored, not a big deal as long as you aren t looking too closely.
The teapot looks great and works very well. I use it every morning.
This is a wonderful pot. I have several metal pots, one of which I got from Adagio. Every one has a filter basket and a lid. With every pot, except this one, the lid fits over the filter basket, so you can have the basket in and the lid on at the same time. This one was defectively engineered, so you can use either the filter basket or the lid, but not both together. I returned the pot.
