the papers took just a little getting use to but work great
Perfect for one cup, or making your own custom blends - ice tea is a snap. Superlove.
I hate cleaning out tea infusers, so I decided to try these loose leaf tea filters instead. I was not disappointed. the box that I received had no off putting smell that affected the taste of the tea like previous reviewers had experienced. I will probably be buying these again =]
These are great. Sometimes I'm lazy and don't want to deal with cleaning out a strainer, and having these on hand means I don't have to. They're also good for making cold-brewed coffee.
Easy to fill and when traveling, I use an iron to seal the top closed.
I should have ordered more of them... they are a bit long for a normal cup but that's not a big deal.
I love the paper filters. I tried finding some in our local stores and have not been able to. Easy to use and last a long time.
Sooo perfectly convenient for all of my loose leaf tea needs.
These filters make brewing loose teas so easy. I use them all the time.
Nice way to brew any amount of tea, in any size vessel, and have no messy clean-up. Great for lazy people like me who want to brew loose teas but hate the usual clean up.
These are perfect for making a large amount of tea at one time. They are easy to use and convenient.
These are fantastic! Just what I needed for those days I want tea but am feeling too lazy to let it steep in my ingenuiTEA.
These worked very well for me. Large and strong enough to accomodate a pot's worth of leaves and did not impart any 'taste' to the tea.
Perfect for any lose tea! The only issue I have is that they leak water from the part of the tea bag that is outside the cup. I now will use two cups and tuck the bag in between the cups.
these filters are great for drinking your loose leaf tea on the go, when you don't want the fuss of dealing with a tea ball.
These filters work exactly as advertised, and allow the tea plenty of room to expand as I it steeps. My only I issue is the fact that, when I fold the bag over the rim of the cup as suggested, the bag wicks tea over and your cup is left with a puddle of tea in the saucer. Not a huge dilemma, but irksome enough that I immediately invested in an infuser.
Wonderfully useful, especially when wanting tea without having to clean up a mess of a strainer.
I pre-fill the filters with my loose-leaf teas and take to work so I can enjoy fresh tea there too.
I always use the filters for any trips away from home - I prepare them before leaving by using string to tie them off, then just pop them in a hot cup of water wherever I end up!
The paper filters are very convenient and easy to use!
These are perfect for when I want to take tea on the go without working about bringing along a bulky strainer or even for when I'm at home and don't want an extra thing to wash! It's super great for really fine teas, like lemongrass, which always ends up slipping through the mesh of my metal strainers.
I have never been a fan of the tea balls. They seem to not stay shut and such a mess to clean up. I love having these filters since my husband is addicted to hot tea and there is less clean up for me.
Work great! Have to fluff them open a bit first and then these are nice and roomy, large enough to hold enough tea for two cups and still give the leaves room to unfurl.
These are very useful and just the right size for a single cup or a small pot.
These filters are fantastic! Perfect for bringing some tea to travel without the worry and mess of an infuser, just steep and toss. Yes, I do prefer an infuser, but when all else fails these are wonderful! They also work beautifully if you are looking to make some iced tea, just fill the bag, toss it in your pitcher of water and refrigerate over night! And it seems that the 'taste altering feature' had been completely ironed out, I've experienced no adverse tastes with these bags yet!
I love these paper filters. So easy to use. Only complaint is that they are on the big side
Rated 'ok' not because of any problem that has to do with the product, but with me. Despite having read the size of the filters on the website, I still for some reason expected them to be smaller. I bought these so I could use them for loose leaf tea at work, but these filters are too big for the white Styrofoam cups, I'd recommend using these with big cups and teapots. Another problem is that there is no way to close the bag and ensure no tea leaves come out. I've resorted to knotting it off at the end.
I find them perfect, because one can fill it as much as i need/like it and they are really functionals.
Worked exactly as it was supposed to. My only complaint is that I wish there were an easy way to seal the bags for cold brewing. Maybe I could experiment with tying the long end into a knot?
they are so useful for work and they are great if you wan to make a large pitcher of tea as well
Perfect! I love that these are available. I have a steeper that sits perfectly in all my cups and mugs but it's not very practical if I'm making tea for more than one person of if I want to send home a serving of tea with a friend. Which is exactly what I did when my teas arrived.
The bags are large enough if you wanted to portion out enough for a pitcher or an individual cup!
Work well. Would like better if they were easier to close and submerge in the cup.
I love the size of these filters. They are long so their 'tails' don't fall into your cup, and they are wide to hold enough tea for those of us that drink from BIG mugs.
After I received my paper filters, I fixed 2 cups of tea. For one of them, I used a paper filter, and for the other, I used an infuser. My purpose was to see if I could taste a difference in the 2 cups. Happily, there was no difference whatsoever, but using a filter was much more convenient. I am now a devoted fan and will continue using them for a long time.
Not much to say.. I use between 4 and 6 each work day. I don't use them at home generally and I notice no off flavors when using the bags versus not.
Easy to use and no residual flavors from the bag at all
These are very useful for those times when you can't whip out your usual loose leaf setup.
I purchased these filters to fill with loose tea and give as gifts to friends. Great quality.
These are slightly difficult to fill, but boy are they handy for those times when my tea infusers are dirty and I'm too lazy to wash them.
Love these things! I'm on my 2nd box already. Great for mornings on the go when I don't have time to steep an entire pot or clean out my IngenuiTEA.
The only thing I don't like about loose is the cleanup. I don't time in the morning before work. These solve that problem for me. I didn't notice any extra taste or smell from the bags.
Nice for a pot of tea. Easier to clean up than a basket. Reasonably priced.
These filters are huge! I use them to brew a gallon of tea for when I have company over. Although they're white, I haven't detected any chlorine taste in my tea
I love these filters. I've never have a problem with them unless they go out of stock. I've noticed no taste to them. They don't change the flavor of my tea at all. Very convenient. A little trick is to fold them over twice before putting them in. That's enough to keep everything secure.
Perfect for on the go and they don't make the tea taste odd in any way. Also great for gifting samples.
does what its suppose to do! Will definitely buy again when i am out!
They keep looseleaf rooibos and herbal blends from getting everywhere and making my teapot's wire infuser nigh-impossible to clean. What more can I ask for from a DIY-teabag?
Super simple and easy to use whether you are making a pot or cup. My go-to when I want to avoid the clean-up associated with reusable tea brewing methods.
Make sure you keep extra boxes on hand...these were on back order in 2014 and I was starting to panic. The price is right and the quality is tops.
Love them though a little tough for single serve.
