I always included these when giving loose tea to someone as a gift. I think they are more approachable than a tea ball for new loose-tea converts. If I give small tins from adagio as a gift I will get myself a box of these and then repackage the right amount of bags (5 to 10 depending on the amount of tea in a sample) to wrap with the gift.
These paper filters are great. I find them to be a little over kill for small 8oz mugs, but they're perfect for 16oz+ mugs.
I have a folding metal infuser as well, but these paper tea filters come in handy! They are easy to use and sturdy. They work with all kinds of teas. Excellent for bringing loose leaf tea with you when traveling!
These filters are a life saver at work. It's not ideal to use my usual infuser so these bags allow me to have my favorite tea's all day long.

These bags are very convenient for when you were on the go. I find that I have to put the whole bag in the cup or it leaches tea onto the surface where the cup is sitting when I fold it over the edge of the cup. I do find that the paper leaves a slight paper flavor in the tea, like a normal tea bag. The Adagio tea bags do not do this.
Added these to three separate gifts of tea for people we weren't sure had tea brewing equipment. These are a great idea, so convenient.

I tie these off and use them as cold infusion bags for overnight iced tea. They work great for that. I have not used them for any sort of hot infusion.

These are so convenient. I like loose tea leaves the best, but I hate fussing with getting the damp mess out of the infuser. These bags are easy to load, easy to use, and don't impart any unwanted flavor to my teas.

I got these for making quart and half-gallon cold brew or sun teas. They work as expected. I can see these being useful for hot teas, too, especially if you have guests and each wants to try a different tea. I like that they don’t contain plastic, strings, or metal.

I like these. I wish there was a way to seal the top though. I'm always afraid the tea will come out once it's been plunged into my iced tea pot.
I used to purchase Melitta brand tea filters for loose leaf tea. That was something like 40 filters for around $4-5. These are a much better deal, for a much larger supply!
I will have to see if they all have the same structural integrity as you go through the box - one of them did pop open while steeping, so I'm not sure if it was just a fluke, or if I can expect that to happen regularly. That being said, if a couple break here and there, it's still a better deal than the filters I used to buy!

Best Tea filters I have found. Great quality and price.
These filters are the most effective way to steep. I get more flavor in my cup with these than when I use a tea ball. Maybe because I can squeeze the contents before removing from cup or there is no metal to interfere with flavor. Whatever it is, I ALWAYS have an ample supply!
Your basic tea bags, but I love that they're also compostable and they actually stay shut instead of leaking tea leaves into my mug.

I didn t know much about this option for loose tea prior to trying them, but they are worth it. I especially love them for Rooibos and Honeybush teas. They are also great for preparing a couple to bring to the office if I want a decent cup.
