I love my sage bowl. The color is calming and soothing to the touch. The bowl works great for the matcha teas and makes drinking them a wonderful experience.

Absolutely gorgeous and lovely to handle. I do have a tendency to add too much and slosh it over when whisking, though.
The bowl is gorgeous and perfectly sized for preparing the matcha! The divots along the rim of the bowl make for really nice spots to drink from as well. However, as another reviewer mentioned below, the bowl does conduct a lot of heat. So you ll have to either transfer the prepared matcha to a separate cup to drink from or wait for the matcha to cool enough that it won t burn your hands. I personally don t find this to be too much of a downside as I prefer my matcha a bit on the cooler side anyway, but it is something to keep in mind!
Beautiful bowl. Was initially concerned about the circular indentation on the inside bottom of the bowl, but it did not appear to cause any issues when preparing my matcha tea. I was really disappointed with how much heat the bowl conducts. You should be able to cup a matcha bowl in your hands but these bowls get way too hot for handling. They look pretty, just wish they were more functional.
It's even prettier in person and a good size. I am happy with it.
Love the color of this bowl and will be the best gift for my friend.
