How could you not love this ingenious teapot! I took mine to school - now I need another for home! Update: I had to buy a new IngenuiTEA - my others were lost. And, I’m so glad! This newest model has a key improvement- the “hinge” on the lid. In this newest version The hinge is much sturdier & I find I can easily remove the lid for emptying spent leaves in the trash can, and cleaning my cup without fear of breaking the lid off. Well done Adagio, we’ll done!!

Super handy! I have a few mugs that this does not fit over, but i just shift it to the side and hold it while I let the tea fill the mug instead of resting it on top. Works perfectly.

I bought this to replace the Teavana one I own. I really like this one better as the top comes off for easy cleaning. A great product if you drink lots of tea.
I just got one of these after being recommended it by a few friends, and honestly it's so much better than using an in-cup steeper. It's easy to clean out (nothing seems to stick!), and really does keep my tea clean from stray tea bits when it drains. The lid also stays open instead of falling shut when you open it, and it's easy to pop on and off. I've had this thing like a week and I love it already.
picked up today from post office and came home wash it and made a cup of tea, first off it is so simple to use, put water and tea in container then let steep put over cup and allow to drain into cup, genius!! Highly recommend

Better than any tea ball for making loose leaf! We make enough tea that our house definitely needs a second. Also, love that the new version has measurements for different water volumes on it.
The flavor of the tea really benefits from steeping in the cup, and straining through the filter. The taste is superior to other steeping methods.
CAVEAT: I purchased two of these last year (from Amazon), and they both leaked. There may be a production defect. Adagio said they will not warranty if purchased through Amazon.

It worked fine for about 3 weeks. I then had dropped it once and the center piece that allows the tea to come out broke. Ended up buying a new one

***update-I still love this compared to other steeper’s but I noticed last few months it leaks tea out of the bottom while steeping. Now I always set it on top of a wash cloth. To be clear it’s not pouring out, slow leak and it depends on how big the puddle how long you leave it sir obviously. Hopefully this can be remedied by the next upgrades version

Several years ago I had this tea maker it lasted several years until it was jam of leaves. Today I receive my tea maker the lid broke right away. and the drainer rattle so much i use it once and it broke. i going to get the newer one that hold more tea.

The coolest thing ever! I tried to get as close as I could to brewing gongfu style in this thing, and the way the water flows through the leaves makes every drop extremely flavorful!

Works great.. The leaves are a pain to clean out but there really is no other way to get around it. I wish it was a bit larger though.
