Filters anything you could throw at it, and because of the inverted conical filter it won't clog.

I can't imagine a better teapot. I don't have to worry about drips or spills, it is easy to clean, and being able to see how dark my tea is helps me determine if it's brewed long enough for my taste. When my french press broke I started using this pot for making coffee, and it works equally well for the task.
The best way to make single cups of tea for any glass or cup you want to use. I have no issues with it at all. For the price, it's a steal.
I love the ingenuiTEA except that it doesn't do too great in the dishwasher. It's worth getting even if you have to handwash it!

Love this! I received the 32 oz as a Christmas gift last year and use it all the time for quarts of iced tea. I just purchase and tried the 16 oz size to sample smaller amounts of loose tea. Great idea.
This design is similar to others but I especially like the shape of the vessel and the composition of the filter plate.
I have been using my IngenuiTEA virtually non-stop since it arrived. Other online tea merchants carry similar teapots, but this is the only one I've found that is microwave safe. (I haven't actually used it in the microwave, though I still see this feature as an advantage.) Much easier to save the leaves for composting than with ball-type infusers. A perfect cup every time.
Originally purchased by a friend as a gift, and I've had mine for probably almost 6 years now. Great little infuser has served me well over the years.

I just got my IngenuiTea, used it maybe a dozen times. Tea leaves got stuck, I used a plastic fork to try and stir them up. The filter is now broken. There is a replacement filter for 2010 and earlier models, but none for mine that is listed here. So I'm out 20 bucks. It seemed like a good deal, but if I can't fix it, its a total loss.
Great gadget for brewing tea, i used to do it in a french press and this is definitely better.

Convenient and easy to clean. It makes two cups of tea. The best thing I like about it is it keeps in the heat. My second cup of tea is still warm after I finished the first cup.
Excellent tea maker. I've had a few of them and given them as gifts. Only had one out of 5 that the filter would not stay in and was promptly refunded from Amazon.

It's a treat for me to use my ingenuiTEA every morning. Tea bags do not compare to loose tea - and with this fine tea-maker I can brew my morning cup so easily, then pop it on top of my insulated tea-mug to drain and head out the door! I recommend this highly to anyone. Thanks to Round Barn Inn in VT for letting me try it!

I love my ingenuiTEA. It's the older model, with the plastic, removable filter. This setup, while I've seen that it's caused problems with replacement filter sizes, has been ideal. Easy cleaning, lightweight, simple to use, no leaking, etc. It's a great product.
I received my new IngenuiTEA today in the mail and have fallen in love with it after only the first use. So easy to use, beautifully crafted, and so much fun to watch the tea unfurl. Also, the gift wrapping was just adorable - Steaming cups and Music notes.
I was surprised to find that I like this as much as I do. It brews a generous sized, neat cup of tea and filters very quickly into my tea mug. Clean up is a snap. I believe it said its dishwasher-safe but I prefer to handwash
I just got my IngenuiTEA today. I am so very impressed! When they say 'perfect cup of tea', it's exactly that. No floaters (tiny tea leaves) in the cup whatsoever. Just clear, flavorful tea. This may be just the thing to get me to give up my diet soda and become a tea fanatic. I hope to purchase others for gifts.

I've had the same one for five years and it still works great. Just bought a replacement filter since the old one was pretty stained/clogged. Never had any problems with it draining when I didn't want it to. Also very easy to clean. Great in the morning when you want your tea quick.
A solid, clever design for the pot. I'm finding myself more a fan of the new integrated metal mesh than I expected to be, I have yet to have trouble cleaning it.
This device is the most convenient I've ever used for making tea. It's excellent to take to work or college. It's fun to watch your tea unfurl in the large chamber and it never fails to yield a delicious cup, free of any particles of tea that tend to get through many infusers. It's also quite a conversation piece, as it tends to stand out and pique the interest of others. The only unfortunate thing is that it's a little difficult to clean without completely flushing it, depending on the type of tea you put into it.
I now have 2, a small 16oz and a large 32oz. Both have performed flawlessly. They make wonderful gifts for the people that are hard to buy for.

I can't say enough how much I love this item. This is what introduced me to Adagio teas in the first place, and it is used multiple times a day in our household. Mine is now stained and ugly, but it works well and is very easy to use.

Needless to say, the dejected Mr. Duell grossly underestimated the elation of witnessing the time lapse bloom of an underwater flower as if in suspended animation. Occurring right before your eyes in your own microcosmic mug at 6:15 only to be across campus and in that oh-so-early 6:30 am class with your morning libation.
This is by far the best infuser that could have ever been created. I originally bought one for the mother of my then-boyfriend who had suffered a stroke and only had the use of one hand. It made her able to once again enjoy tea. I got jealous of hers, so I had to get one for myself! It makes the practice of making loose tea SO much easier, and less messy. It's definitely ingenius. If you are an avid tea drinker, or if you want to try out some various teas without having to settle for bagged varieties, I highly suggest getting this. It makes everything so much easier, from start-up to clean-up.
I got my IngenuiTea today! Can you say 'awesome' (insert girly soprano voice here!)! This is the cleverest, coolest gadget I've ever had! I am on my second cup of tea tonight and it's like 85 degrees outside! This is the real deal for ease of operation! I love it!

The replacement Filter works Great. To Get it to slide in let the whole filter sit in hot water for about 10 min to let it soften just enough to pop in place.
Brought this item to work so I could enjoy a good hot cup of tea. Microwaves great and no leaking. Brews a good 14 ounces of favorite tea. Fears of cleaning difficulty vanished after first use...easy clean up! Also like the coaster to put brewer on. Sturdy plastic and nice looking. Safe, easy drainage.
