I really enjoy this! After only having a big teapot to make tea in, I was in dire need for something smaller. The valve part is magical and fun to use. My only complaint is that, being a college kid with no dishwasher, it isn't very easy to clean. I'm worried over time it will get a little gross. But for now, it works great!
So far everything is working as advertised. The only problem comes from cleaning out tea leaves. It is just not as easy as it could be. Also there are no one or two cup notations which I would find useful.
Seriously the best infuser I have ever invested in. I will never use an infuser ball or anything BUT my ingenuiTEA again. So convenient, and so ideal in every way.
I'm going to have to buy a second one to keep at the office, because making tea has never been quite so easy!

While brewing tea the 'old fashioned' way (in a strainer in my cup or my teapot) isn't exactly hard, this is just a more...fun way to brew my tea. It's very easily cleaned, just dump out the tea leaves and either wash it by hand or I can throw it in my dishwasher, and it serves its purpose well. It's cool looking and fun to show off to friends!
Super useful! I love that its able to just sit on top of the cup while it drains and is really good at catching all the tea bits. The only problem I ever have is cleaning it xD

The ingenuiTEA works great! I used to use a simple strainer in the top of my cast iron teapot, but would have issues with it being too strong or too weak. I like the fact that I can watch the tea unfurl beautifully through the clear sides and can spurt out just a little to 'taste test' it, and simply leave it in if it isn't strong enough yet. Really a great way to get the perfect taste out of my tea! Sorry teapot, but now you just boil my water. :)
Pros: Being made out of plastic it is pretty much unbreakable. You don't have to worry about dropping it, cracks, etc. It does what it is suppose to do, steeps the tea and strains it.
Cons: You are poring boiling water in plastic and letting it steep. Yes it is BPA free, but i still believe there could be other chemicals leaching in the tea, especially if you are using it on a daily basis and multiple times a day. The plastic overtime turns a dirty brown color that wont come out if you make a lot of black tea. It does not affect the functionality or taste, but it still looks bad.

What a positively wonderful device. Great for one cup of any tea with no strainers or tea balls. Just brew it and set in on your favorite cup and walla, it's done to perfection! Be sure to get at least one or more.

Does what it is supposed and does it really well. At least thus far i have had no issue with tea leaves in my tea and I must say the construction feels solid and it is easy to clean.

I have been waiting anxiously for my ingenuitea to arrive and as soon as it did, I promptly rinsed it out, put a kettle on and started making a cup. It is outstanding. The ease of making a quick cup of tea in unparalleled. I'm already seriously considering ordering another to keep at work!

Super handy. A bit hard to keep clean since parts of it kind of a dyed tea colored now, but the ease really makes up for it.
I think the ingenuiTEA has probably changed my life. After a year of using teaballs with looseleaf teas, I thought I would just have to accept the little bits of rooibos that get past the strainer, but with the ingenuiTEA I am no longer damned to tea with little bits in it. It's easy to use, easy to clean (once I figured out how to remove the filter) and makes watching tea steep a truly meditative experience.

The infuser that came with my teapot was not very good, so I decided to get ingenuiTEA.Best decision ever. Works great and the don't get any pesky leaves in my drink.
This is really helpful when making loose leaf tea, the filter is a little hard to replace however as previous reviews have mentioned it's easier to get in when you've let it sit in hot water so the plastic softens up a bit.
This thing is...WOW. It's such a ridiculously simple design but just wow. I can't get over how in love I am with this friggin cup. I think I drink at least 3 times more tea with this thing just because it makes it so simple. I also use a keurig to fill the cup so it really makes the whole process go by so fast.
I really like this BUT it could be improved with easier way to clean the loose leaves and measurement lines on the side for 1 cup or 2. Besides thats its AWESOME!!!
I got my ingenuiTEA as a gift from a friend, after using a tea baller for a long time, and now I'll never go back! I use my Keurig to brew the hot water to pour into my tea infuser, let it steep and it brews a perfect cup of tea every time!
this was a good product but honestly not as good as the teavana one. However like everything teavana sells it was twice the price...
I am SO glad that I finally broke down and purchased an ingenuiTEA after my third tea ball started to gap. After reading some of the reviews about it working great but being a pain to clean I was a little worried, but now that I've used it a few times I can say that it isn't really harder to clean that your average mesh tea ball. I don't know how I ever lived without one now!
This is an excellent little device. I was a bit worried that the gravity seal at the bottom might make a mess but I've had no problems at all so far. It's easy to use and super-convenient. If you drink a lot of loose leaf tea this is definitely something you should think about getting!

This is working wonderfully so far! Slightly worried about the filter, it looks slightly stained already, and I've had it for less than a month.
This is a very good tea maker. The flavor of the tea really shines thru, It's easy to clean, and completely filters the particles out. There are only two small things I don't like. It does not fit 'any' tea mug/cup and I would like a size between 16 and 32 ounces. maybe 20 ounces. But this is not a perfect world and I am very pleased with it.
Perfect for a quick cuppa in the morning or before bed!

This is absolutely perfect for when I want a nice cup of tea steeped from real tea leaves. Just pour in the hot water, steep, and let it drain into your mug - boom! Done. And it's so easy to clean. Perfect for avid tea drinkers!
