I already had one of those 'sits in the cup and brews tea' things (very technical, I know), but a friend encouraged me to get this and I was looking for a more efficient way to brew tea at the office. It's very nicely constructed. the lid pops off cleanly and without the side effect of making you worry about cracking the plastic - definitely does not feel like some cheap thing you're going to break in two days. The tea dispenses super quickly and the valve is rather snappy, so accidental drips and spills are probably at a minimum. And no water displacement! So you get the proper amount for your cup and don't waste any tea.

oh my gosh! I love this teapot. It was so handy just let it brew and then just place it on top of my tea cup!the only thing I could think about adding to this product, are instructions on cleaning it. It did not come with any instructions as to that effect in the actual box. I looked online, some directions for how to clean an older version of the product which were no longer valid. Turns out, you just rinse this out.

The ingenuiTEA is brilliant in its simplicity. I am very new to loose leaf tea, mostly due to it being a little intimidating and not wanting to drink a bunch of leaves by straining myself. However, this makes it super easy, even for a newbie like myself. I love how easy it is to use and even better, how easy it is to clean. Not to mention, I love watching my tea steep and darken.

I love my ingenuiTea. This is not my first one. I have another that is about 10 years old. My other ingenuiTea is not BPA-free however which is why I wanted a new one. I couldn't justify a new one otherwise because my old one held up beautifully over the years and even survived many times of me dropping in on the floor accidentally. So with that thought in mind I can truly endorse this product because I know how durable it is and how well it works! I believe every serious tea drinker should have one for their use!

I bought this because the one i got from teavana got what i like to call 'flavor' stained with a sample I received from another company. I know they do the same thing but I can honestly say i prefer this one. It does hold on to smells after washing like my old tea maker. the only con is that my mug is bigger than the bottom so i have to place it on the side but that can be solved with a different cup

I have tried 2 other items similar to this for steeping and nothing comes close. Easy to clean and does not let through small peices of tea leaf like other items.

This is the best product I've used to steep loose tea with. The valve on the bottom is closed until you set it on top of a mug. It really is ingenious and very easy to use.

I had the Teavana version of this, which put up years of abuse, but I wasn't really willing to go there and buy yet another when I could get Adagio's version (as I have been shopping Adagio teas for the past few years versus the competition) Basically, it's simplicity. Put leaves in, steep, get the biggest cup you can get cause you're greedy and want 2 cups of tea to yourself, serve with a little honey in the cup and call it a day. Easy clean up. A I love it when things are easy!

Amazing teapot that makes brewing tea so simple and great. The best part of it besides how good the tea tastes is how easy it is to clean. Pop the top off, take out the screen and put all the parts in the dishwasher and it comes out clean and residue free. Nice for when you want to switch to green tea after brewing a lot of black tea. Also a lot easier and more complete cleaning compared to my ceramic teapot.

Okay. I adore this thing. It makes two small cups of tea when I am sharing, or I can fill my big travel mug in the mornings for the drive to work. And cleaning it really is easy. Amazing find.

this is the best invention ever! I love this product. I add my tea, pour the water and wait (not always so patiently). set it on a cup and I'm ready to go. I love that when I lift off the cup it doesn't drip - ever! I always have to be careful to not overfill my cup.

Fastest way to make tea, however, it is difficult to clean and the filter colors easily.

Immediately remove all tea leaves and liquid after use to avoid discoloration.

I give 5 stars for this product. When I opened the box, I thought it was too small than my expectation.But, it is enough for 2 cups.I bought it for my niece as a gift.I am going to order the big one for me.

I just plain love this device. I have 1, 32 Oz, and 2,16 oz. The 16 oz sizes come in handy when I make a combination herbal black tea blend. I steep them separately then combine them in their serving vessel. I REFUSE TO BE WITHOUT THIS!!

What a quick and easy way to brew a cuppa at work! No fuss, no muss. Fits most every mug I own (my super wide ones not-so-much), easy to clean (BONUS!) and doesn't drip/leak when you're done draining to your mug.

I have been using this every morning for years now to make my morning cup of tea. Quick and easy to use, even when my brain is not yet fully functioning in the mornings.

This is the perfect tea maker for college. It's durable so I don't have to worry about it falling and breaking and it's actually much easier to clean than a normal teapot and infuser. I love it!

Amazing is the only word I can think of to describe this little brewer. I have used a tea ball in the past but the sides were not flush together(tea bits got everywhere) and the latch open way too easily(even in my cup!). With the ingenuiTEA I have no worries about any of that. I put my choice of tea in the mug, add boiling water and let steep. Cleanup is a breeze as well. All you have to do is pop out the mesh filter(it's a little tight when you first get it) and you can clean with ease.

I LOVE this thing. It is an AMAZINGLY convenient way to make loose leaf tea. I would recommend this to anyone who loves loose leaf tea!

I was wary of buying this for a long time. Did I really need another tea related gadjet? The answer is yes! It is amazing! Works like a dream every time and lets me re-steep my teas for multiple uses.

I absolutely LOVE my ingenuiTea! I use it every morning. It's perfect for when I am making cups just for me. I wish there was an easy way to clean the damp leaves out afterwards, though. Overall, 5 stars!

This is great for students or apartment dwellers who don't want a lot of fuss when they just want a cup of tea. It's simple, attractive, and very easy to clean. It could also be kept in an office very easily since it doesn't take up a lot of room on a desk.
