I love this simple machine. The only thing I'd say is that it only takes once to learn to not grab it from the bottom...which I did and will never do again.

This little piece of kitchenware makes tea making disgustingly easy. It's been the only thing I've used since I got it.

One of the best tea infusers on the market. I've had one for over a year now and it still works like brand new. I decided to buy a second one for my growing green tea collection. I would recommend this product to any tea enthusiast!

I used a small teapot with basket for a year or so before switching to the paper filters, because ultimately the teapot basket was too annoying to wash up and I'd forget to empty the leaves. Eventually, I decided to treat myself to the IngenuiTEA using my Frequent Cup points, and I like it quite a lot! It has the easy multi-cup utility of the little teapot, but it's a lot easier to clean (though I had to remember to open the lid so the leaves would dry up overnight to make it easier to empty out). However, it's a few mL too small to properly fill one of my favorite slightly-large mugs, but it also won't sit on that mug's rim. Also, liquid likes to get trapped/sit between the mesh filter and the valve, and I haven't figured out how to drain it completely. If I only have time for just one cup, I still prefer the paper filters, but the IngenuiTEA is great for refills throughout the morning or tv-time! If I had any wishes for it, I'd like to see instructions for cleaning/disassembling. It surprised me when the lid popped off completely while I was rinsing it out the first time, and like I said, I can't figure out how to get the bottom off so I can completely drain that one section.

Love this - so much better then a tea bag - the only negative is I don't have a cup that fits it (i.e. my mugs are too large) but the ingenuiTEA still works perfectly.

My son gave me this and I loved it so much that I have given it to friends who are also tea lovers! The heat settings allow for an easy way to gauge the temperature for different teas. Also, the way it brings water to a boil so quickly has come in handy in a variety of ways around the kitchen!

On of my favorite tea appliances. It keeps my tea and is a lot less messier than some of my other tea appliances. This is a must have for any tea lover.

What was I doing without this precious gem?! I've been using other infusers before using the ingenuitea, but it pales to comparison. It makes everything easier for new tea drinkers like me. There's also such a difference in taste while brewing tea leaves between it and my metal infuser. I love how small and light it is because I can bring it anywhere It's also easy to clean and I don't have to worry about constantly cleaning like with my metal infuser. It's just so wonderful. people should really try it.

This has absolutely revolutionized the way I brew loose leaf teas. I could not be happier with my purchase!

This device has made my life so much more pleasant when it comes to drinking tea and does a great job at bringing out the flavors of tea. Easy to use and clean (with baking soda every few times). The only issue is that it scratches easily and I don't think (at least I haven't seen it) you can buy just a replacement filter.

I love the ease of this just put it on top of your cup and to-da delicious tea to soothe your soul!

I love this thing! I'd been meaning to get one forever, but hadn't gotten around to it. I'm glad I finally did. it speeds my tea making right up. :)

This is the greatest invention ever. Some of the teas I've purchased (Amy Pond, Captain Jack, etc.) have such small particles that my tea ball was letting more fiber escape than I wanted in my diet. I've been using it a while, and my only complaint is that it's starting to become stained, and I wish it had demarcations for how much fluid is going in. I just guess now how much water to put in and sometimes I over or under estimate.

So glad I found this little item. I have one at home and one at the office. It makes quick and easy work of steeping and enjoying loose tea.

Just got mine today and have already made two cups. Loving the simplicity of this. It will make enjoying tea at work so much better!

I have been using this product since the time of the original design. It is lightweight and easy to use. Have ordered a replacement as well as some for gifts.

After dispensing a cup of tea, I usually add more hot water a couple of times to get the most out of my leaves. When finished, I rinse out the ingenuiTEA and pour the leaves and water in a bowl to spread on an outside planter.

I highly recommend this product when you plan to drink 3-4 cups of tea. I only wish the current model included the round disc for underneath the ingenuiTEA that came with the earlier version.

Very user friendly. Easy to clean and the mesh is small enough to prevent any of the finer teas to get thru. The only thing that keeps this from getting a great is the diameter is not large enough to clear my larger cups. Also it would be a GREAT product if you could buy parts gor the seat and disk when they wear.

This is the perfect product for the office where keeping a traditional tea pot is impractical. I used to bag my own tea in my office, but this allows me to brew a better cup each time.

Man, this thing is so cool. I got this for my dad because I used to try to buy loose tea for him but he always said he couldn't be bothered to deal with teapots and infusers. Now that he's got this, it's easy enough that he actually drinks the tea I get him. Especially because it can go in the dishwasher.

The ingenuiTEA is amazing, I was surprised at how well the trap mechanism works. And even with hot water the tumbler isn't too hot to handle. It's now my go-to for all my looseleaf teas!

Love this device! Have had one for years and bought three others for friends and family. Now and again I use diluted bleach to clean out the residue, then rinse like heck.

Has now become my granddaughter's favorite, too!

Got it today and made 8 types of teas with it. Holy BaJeebus am I happy. I love all 8 steeping apparatus I own but this thing takes the cake. Yea it might not be a manatea looking all cute while it steeps, BUT this thing will make sure that your tea has no residual tea leaves in it! Plus you get to actually watch your tea steep!

This is the best tea maker I have ever purchased!! I can enjoy 'proper' tea ow at any time. I will be buying another one to have one at work and one at home.
This continues to be my favorite kitchen gadget. So many people ask me about it, and then can't resist buying their own!

I love this little guy. It makes my morning cup of tea quick and easy. It's also easy to clean. It doesn't fit Adagio's glass cup/saucer. But it's easy enough to fill the cup by pressing my finger underneath the ingenuitea teapot instead of using the rim of the cup. Now I'm eying the larger one for ice tea.

Works great. I love it. I wish it came in glass and not plastic.

I love this tea drinker's must have! It's easy to use, easy to clean. I've had it a little over a month and am finding the need to have one at home and work!

What a great steeper! It saves having to fill a small tea pot with leaves and then pouring hot water into the cup after pouring the sessence. It is easy to clean and and also easy to measure more precisely a portion of a cup by lifting it before it all pours out.

I love the ingenuitea! I wish I bought it a long time ago. It's easy to clean and fits over my cups perfectly!!! Highly recommended.

This thing has made my tea addiction so ridiculously easy. Unlike pretty much every steeper I've tried to use this one can handle rooibos teas without the pieces making it into the cup! I cannot endorse this enough for a tea aficionado.

Makes preparation fun and very easy. we use ours almost every day. just purchased my second one tonight.

A friend recommended the ingenuiTEA, and I do love it (16 oz). It's quick and easy. The only issue is that I wish it were easier to clean--specifically, if the filter could be removed for better cleaning. Still, I'm glad I got it!

Hard to get the tea leaves out of this without dumping the strainer in the garbage with the tea leaves.

Love this so much! I recently started purchasing tea here and hadn't really used loose leaf tea before. I tried various tea infusers, but they were all kind of a pain to use. This is the best thing EVER. Easiest way to make loose leaf tea, easiest clean up. Tea perfection!

Keep the tea flavors coming. I'm enjoying the IngenuiTEA steeping cup. Would not trade it for anything.

This thing rocks my world. I wasn't sure my tea would turn out differently using the ingenuiTea, rather than a tea ball, but I was wrong. This device really helps the flavors of the tea leaves to expand. I also enjoy watching my tea leaves unfurl as they steep. It's hypnotic. It doesn't hurt that this thing is easy to clean either. I have yet to put mine in the dishwasher (despite the fact that it claims to be dishwasher safe) because the hinges and other plastic joining pieces seem a bit fragile to me. But rinsing it takes no time at all. It was definitely worth the price for me!

We use this all the time. Tea making is so much easier.

I like the 16oz. size and it works very smoothly, I just wish they had it in glass instead of plastic.

This thing is amazing. It's clear so you can actually see the tea being brewed and you can kind of guesstimate when it's to the strength of your liking. I have a couple mugs whose lips are *just* too big to fit the bottom of the brewer, but I just off set the brewer a bit and it drains just fine.

This is an AMAZING device. Makes about 2 cups, as it says, and no loose tea leaves make it through the bottom. Very convenient.

Makes the perfect cup of tea every time. Just the right size for one cup of tea.

I now have two of these because I use one for a caffeinated tea, and the other for lower caff teas, or rooibos. This is the greatest loose leaf tea maker! Frankly, I'm pretty new to loose leaf teas and never had any other tea maker...I kept researching and reading reviews, and ultimately decided to go with this. I'm so glad I did! I have had no problem with these whatsoever, they do not let any of the tea leaves go through to my cup of tea, and I toss them in the dishwasher every night, they come out totally clean and good. The only thing you I have to do is scoop out the wet leaves every night, I do it gently with a spoon, then rinse whatever is left with water. It's become my nightly ritual, and it only takes a couple of minutes. This thing is really great! Highly Recommend!

I'm sure there are other ways to brew a mug of loose leaf tea but I'm also sure I'll never need to know what they are. ^_~
