Love this pitcher! It's perfect for making a whole batch of cold brew iced tea for my family and I! It's easy to use and a breeze to clean!
A great and easy way to make iced tea a regular part of your day. Just add water and tea leaves, place it in the refrigerator over night, and you have a pitcher full of iced tea to sip on all day when you wake up. This has helped to stop my wasteful consumption of diet sodas, and replace it with a healthier alternative that actually quenches my thirst.
This is one of the most useless items I've ever purchased. When you pull on the handle of the basket to remove it from the pitcher, the handle immediately breaks off instead of budging the basket. The rubber rings are far too tight a fit, and the lid has to be unscrewed to hand-waggle the basket out of the top. I haven't even tried brewing tea in it yet, considering just sending it straight back. This is horrible design.
Perfectly functional, and easy to clean. I wouldn't change a thing. This is now my go to for iced tea. I'll try using it for sun tea in the summer.
I've tried both cold brewing overnight and normal steeping, with similar results- at least with Blood Orange.
I love the concept of this pitcher but find its execution lacking. Even using the amount of tea I would normally use for two quarts and steeping a couple days, the tea is weak. I suspect the infuser may be too constricting. Also, inserting and removing the infuser basket is not smooth, especially the rubber ring at the top that is hard to seal properly and keeps coming loose. Will still use the pitcher to hold tea but not to steep the tea.
I have enjoyed using this so far. It doesn't take up much space, and is good for 3-4 cups of tea. The design is very nice and sturdy. Although a really small gripe, the only thing I wish was different was if the infuser tube could stand straight up on its own - would be useful when cleaning and such. The infuser is pretty good, and it leaves little tea leaf residue at the bottom.
Will admit it is bigger than I thought but it will
be perfect come summer!
This is the tea maker I’ve been dreaming of! It’s easy to use and more importantly, easy to clean. Perfect for cold brewing iced tea. You can use your preferred amount of tea to get the taste you desire. I like it so much I immediately ordered both the green and black topped pitchers and I’m sure I will be adding a fourth one soon.
