The harbin tea pot is amazing! It's great for gong fu brewing! and its perfect for my oolongs! I would recommend this for anyone new to yixing. Its small, stylish and sturdy for being clay.
These often elaborate pots are traditionally used for gongfu steeping, where tea is served in small cups over the course of many very short infusions.

Exactly as pictured. It's my first yixing teapot to use as a starter and I wasn't disappointed.
Nice little clay pot. I bought it specifically for my oolongs and so far it has worked great!
Awesome teapot. It is small, but that is what I expected. I use it to brew gongfu style, and it is dedicated to oolong tea. The top seals perfectly when pouring.
This cute little thing is perfect for single cups of tea and its so easy to just throw more water into it for a second cup. Theres no need for a filter if you use large leaf teas because the spout has little holes that will catch them. The mate and some herbals will slip through though. The lid is a bit problematic only because you practically have to tip the pot upside down to get all the tea out and it too has a small hole in it. So if they water is hot it can hurt your hand a bit. But thats easily avoidable if you know before doing it.
I love my Harbin Yixing teapot and cups. It makes more than enough tea for one person, probably just right for two (or more, depending how large/small of a cup you want). I have mine dedicated to my Oolong Dancong Aria. I find the shape of the cups does make them a little awkward to drink out of w/o spilling a bit, but by no means enough to make them unusable. Oh and they get really hot! So be careful. Anyway, I love this teapot. might have to get another to dedicate to another type of tea. :D
Good size for one (teapot is about 3 inches tall). I don't think it is truly a 'zi sha' clay ('purple sand') teapot (or maybe just poorly made). I had been to a Zi Sha factory in China and had bought one from there a number of years ago. The Zi Sha should have excellent air tightness - when you press the tiny hole on the lid, no water will come down the spout. Release the hole and the tea pours. This feature does not work with my teapot. I wanted to show up this amazing feature to my friends but this purchase does not allow me to.
It is totally charming in appearance and makes a good cup of tea, but the size ... I think my childhood play tea sets were larger. Egads! It's a good thing I like it, but I suspect it won't be used all that much since it will take me four times as much activity refilling it to be satisfied with the tea I have drunk.
So freakin Cute!!! I love it so far and cannot wait to get many years out of it.
It took me almost 52 years of life to get a good cup of tea. That was a little over a month ago. Since then I've been trying to learn to make tea gong fu style, and I've collected about 4 yixing pots. This is pot is the perfect size for when I make tea for my wife and I, or for myself if I use a large, American style teacup. If you want to make gong fu tea, I don't think that you can go wrong with this pot.
A really beautiful Yixing teapot! Used 10g of Ali Shan Masters Collection, 195 degrees for 30 seconds! Perfect for Gong Fu Cha with friends or solo!
This is an adorable little teapot. It is really tiny, but the description does say it only holds 6 oz so the small size is to be expected. I plan to use it as a decoration, grouped with the other two tiny pots.
Excellent for the prize, just the right size for gong-fu brewing for 2-4 people, a bit big if it is for single person use.
Not sure just what I expected but this 'teapot' is the size of a childs tea set. I will be returning it. Thirty four dollars is just too much for this itty bitty 'teapot'. It's so small that its hard to handle.
