After five years and over $1,000 spent with **Adagio Teas**, this is how a simple $12 issue was handled.

My **GraviTea** timer has never worked. I contacted customer service for help replacing the batteries because the case will not open. I followed their instructions repeatedly, cracked the casing trying to pry it open as directed, and the timer still does not function.

Instead of offering a simple replacement timer (or pitcher), I received scripted replies repeating the same instructions, was told to mail the damaged piece back at my own expense, and was ultimately informed that because the item was on clearance, they would not replace it.

The product itself is fine. The customer service is not.

This was a small, easily fixable request. Losing a long-time, loyal customer over a $12 part reflects a disappointing lack of care. I genuinely hoped for better.

I'm honestly amazed at well this works. We have very hard water at my work and there are sediments in the bottom of the electric kettle when I boil water and it makes the tea taste bitter. This filters water so quickly that it seems that it can't be doing anything, but there are no sediments in the bottom of the kettle, my tea tastes better, and there's been no hard water build up after over a week of using this. It's a much more economical and environmentally friendly option than using bottled water

Loved getting this on sale. I can have the freshest tasting water now to replace tap to brew my adagio teas. Will be giving this as gifts for the holidays,

Does the trick. Filters water quickly. The filters are reasonably priced. There is no way to keep track as to when to change filter as the tracker on the pitcher doesn't work and this is the second one I've gotten (the first one was cracked in shipping). I use water (filtered) from the fridge, run it through this and am good to go to enjoy the flavor of my tea and not the flavor of my tap.

My husband is very happy with this. It does flow pretty fast for what it is. The slim fit is also nice as it fits in the fridge door. We have very hard water, and sometimes you get a small whiff of chlorine. We don't get any of that with the filters. The only complaint I have is the digital 'timer' on the top that is supposed to let you know when to change the filter never worked. My husband would not let me send it back just for that but it really irritates me that it never worked, and it didn't have troubleshooting instructions on what to do in case it didn't work or how to even get it out to inspect it. I would LOVE to know how to get it out of the lid to take a look! Adagio...any help for this?

I love the pitcher but the one I received, the lid broke when trying to close it again. It would not snap back in place, but other than that, love having the clean tea and I use it for cooking as well.

Sadly, the filter timer broke out 3rd month in. But what’s good is how fast the water passes through. The initial reservoir is the proper size to hold about half the pitcher at a time and it easily fills without having to revive any caps. We also use it to water our cats now!

Update: purchased a second one because we’re using so much future water now ! Unfortunately Austin, there were issues with the filter clock display — never able to get it to work. But the main functionality is great and they’re very durable.

Great size - not too big or too small. Broke my lid so buying another one.

Oh no! Don't purchase one of these, even on the sale, if you aren't sure you can find replacement filters. Just searched for some and can only find one on eBay.
I like the ease of use and do notice a change in taste of the plain water. Because I use it for drinking water also, it doesn't hold as much as I'd prefer, but that is my problem.
The reason for 3 stars rather than 4 or 5 is because the first time I changed the filter, rinsing out the different elements of the pitcher, the cover for the battery housing came off and one tab broke off. Cannot put it back together, so the counter doesn't work and I'm worried about the batteries getting wet. Just marked on my calendar when 60 days is, but very disappointed.
April 2024: Just a note - if you have instructions for replacing the filter, save them! I just ordered replacement filters and they came loose in a plastic bag, with no instructions. Don't mind the idea of saving the packaging, but if I didn't remember the instructions I'd be in trouble!

Definitely worth it! We use this pitcher all the time! It's been a game changer and it doesn't take up a lot of space in the fridge.

The water filters quickly and tastes great. My coffee and tea tastes better with this filter! I also like that it’s compact enough to fit easily in the fridge.

Got a nonworking reminder on mine. I have replaced the batteries, which still didn't work and won't go back together either. However, I could use a calendar to keep track of that info but was expecting it to work. However, this filter vs our other name-brand filter, and we were blown away by how much different the water tasted. This one will be used in the future and I just hope they don't discontinue the filters.

Good little water filter. Water tastes cleaner, and is filtered pretty quickly. Only complaint is that the filter timer doesn't work. Might be a simple fix of replacing batteries, but was expecting a bit better.

Super convenient to use with the pour-through lid. It filters the water quickly too. Nice sleek design.

I ditched our PUR filter for this one. I think it works better (the lack of sediment and hard water scum in my tea kettle is evidence), and it drains much faster, so you don’t have to wait so long to pour. The only down side is that the battery on the filter reminder died pretty quickly.

I was looking for a filter and was lucky enough to come across this one from my favorite tea company! It works like a charm!

I purchase this item and was looking forward to give it as a housewarming gift but, first the batteries that were in the product were dead. I contacted the company and they instructed me to look on the description for size of batteries for me to buy and replace. I did the same day. The product is still working. So, the item was probably sat in a warehouse for too long or the batteries were just old and was sold anyway. Either way, I am not satisficed with the product purchased.

It's the perfect size for singles (or doubles) and convenient to handle. The water tastes better than before, and I like the shape of the filter.

This container is so difficult to use. The inside part and the lid do NOT stay on the container so everything falls every time I try to pour a glass of tea. It has parts on the lid that MEAN to keep the lid on the container but they do not secure the lid on so I will try to find another container to buy that will actually work

This works great, although I managed to break it within 10 minutes of opening the package. Still works, though lol.

First thing I have purchased that I am not happy with 😔 the indicator on it doesn't work and the filter does not fully seal and let's water drip around it. Probably should of read more reviews. My fault this time.

It took a bit before the kitchen ladies at church got the hang of it but we've been making papaya tea for a month now and by George, I think they've got it!!

This has been a life saver at work. Not only does my tea taste better but it helps reduce the limescale buildup in my kettle, so I don't have to clean it as often.

An easy to use pitcher and I love that I can still pour filtered water as more water is being actively filtered. It's helping me drink more tea and more water for sure, having this closeby!

Got this to keep my kettle full of filtered water, and it's great! It's a little difficult to change the filter, but that's my only complaint.

I have gotten two of these and the lids do not fit on earth of them. Other than that there good

I've used this water pitcher for over a year now and have been very happy with it. It really does seem to filter water faster than other pitchers I've used. When it gets closer to the time to replace the filter, the filtration speed slows down a bit, which is how I know it's ready to replace. The one negative is that changing the battery is not very easy. The batteries on my pitcher died shortly after I received it, and I just finally got around to buying new batteries for it. It took probably 10 minutes to figure out how to replace them. It's kind of a hassle, so I don't know if I'll bother with it when the new ones die.

This works really well, but the reset button does not work, and a clip broke off right away. The company did send a new one, but the reset button still does not work. However, we will just keep track of the days to put in a new filter.

At first I didn't think I was going to receive my GraviTEA because it wasn't showing up on my orders properly. Thanks to the great customer service I received, I not only now have my original purchase but they through in an extra one when they thought my order didn't process properly - so now I have two (will give one away as a christmas gift). I absolutely love it. it works as intended and it really does a great job making my tap water more drinkable thereby saving me some money as bottled spring water was getting rather expensive!

UPDATE 9/10/2023 After less then 6 mos. usage, the battery cover loosened and water was in contact with the battery causing the battery to rust and seep into my water. I refuse to own another one now. The battery should be more secure or placed in the handle, somewhere where it wont come in contact with the water in the pitcher. I am not complaining to get money back, and I do not want a replacement. If you own one, be sure to check the battery compartment cover periodically.

The filter portion of this pitcher works great. It filters out impurities in water and keeps your tea tasting great. The pitcher itself is poorly designed. The handle cannot support the weight of a full pitcher of water without breaking. Unfortunately I did not discover this within the 30 day period for a refund. However, I continue to use the pitcher (without the handle as it broke off) to filter my water before putting it in my teapot. Great concept of the filter pitcher, just poor design in putting all the weight of the pitcher on a small section of plastic. Failure in design.

Although a little confusing cover, satisfied with filtration.

works fine; took me 2 go throughs of the initial instructions to get the filter adjusted, but after that its been doing its job

Works great. The water from my tap is now filtered and tastes crisp. I'm looking forward to using the filtered water to brew my teas. So excited. Came right in time for the summer.

A good, reliable pitcher. Unfortunately the battery was dead right out of the box. I would dearly love better instructions on how to disassemble and reassemble it, I feel like I nearly broke it trying to put the filter in and put it together. It removes the sulfur taste from Florida water, and for that alone I would love it.

I love this pitcher that purifies water, and keep it near my sink, for refilling my tea kettle and water bottles. I wish the spout was a bit more narrow, as I pour directly into the tea spout, but otherwise, I am delighted. Highly recommended. Replaced and happy with new one.

I use it less for tea and more as a general pitcher, but it does an excellent job. The filter is much faster than I'm used to, and the top-fill design makes me question why every pitcher doesn't do the same. Definite recc.

I like this better than my Brita but the display on top either doesn’t work or is so faint I can’t see it. Other than that it is great.

a really good investment, saves money and plastic from the landfill! i highly reccomend this item be purchased

i wish the tank was bigger and my digital indicator stopped working at some point (can't tell you when, i've had it for going on three years) but even with those caveats it's still great and it makes my tap water (and tea!) taste much better

So not worth even the reduced price. The product''s lid didn't fit correctly and while trying to adjust it the small clip that is =supposed= to keep the lid on broke off. So now, in order to use it, I have to make sure I'm holding it as I'm pouring or water goes everywhere. I wish I didn't buy or the refill filters for this extremely disappointing item.

I really was unsure about a filter and if it would make a difference. Wow, it really does make a difference in the taste of the tea. The tea is brighter and seems to have more flavor.

Loving this for filtering water. It so much quicker than standard Brita filters. I do wish the pitcher was larger though.

This makes my tap water taste WAY better than normal! No more wasting money on water jugs at the store for me! The counter thing never works until you buy yourself a newbattery and then it works perfectly. (this has happened three times so just trust me) IJAn'23 I now have two of these, oone sits one the counter and the other goes in the fridge. STILL PERFECT

I have had it a few days now, I believe, and it truly is as great as the reviews says it is. I hate that it doesn't hold as much water as I would want it but I can easily get a bigger pitcher so it's not that much of a big deal. Rec getting the extra filters while you're at it

The lid does not stay on and the filters make the water taste salty. I missed the timing to return - so much money lost.

The GraviTEA is a wonderful addition to my fridge. I've been using a Brita before now so I was on the fence about buying it, but other reviewers convinced me. I have a lot of lime in my water and this does such an amazing job of filtering it out--it tastes so much cleaner than when I use the Brita! And I've noticed I haven't needed to descale my pot as much either, which is an added bonus. 10/10 would recommend, you would not believe how much better your tea tastes once you filter your water through GraviTEA!

I love this water purifier. It is easy to use and quickly removes the impurities from my water. I have very hard water and this makes it taste so much better. I not only use this for my tea but I also use it for drinking water all day long. I just wish the digital indicator was easier to read but it’s not bad.

This has definitely enhanced the flavor profile of my teas. The filter is easy to swap out and the amount of water it holds is fantastic.
