While this pitcher looks nice online, it's rather awkward in practical use. It holds an odd amount of liquid. 5 measured cups, which is like 2 American glasses. It's an awfully small amount of iced tea if you're the type of Southern American who likes tea. The pitcher is okay for one person use but a couple or a family would be making tea two or three times a day in the summer. If you make tea using the large ingenuiTEA, then this pitcher holds somewhere between 1 and 2 batches of tea. It's just weird to make 1 and 2/3 batches of tea. Finally, the glass feels ridiculously thin although I admit I haven't broken it yet. It almost makes me afraid to pick it up, my monster grip might crush it.
The glass pitcher we rec.ed recently is far below the quality of all other glassware items I have purchased from Adagio. Besides the poor quality, the 1 rec.ed has numerous scratches.
I really enjoyed this pitcher while it lasted. It was very light weight and easy to clean. However, I'm writing this in the past tense because the glass is very thin and delicate. It fell less than 3 feet into the sink and shattered. This pitcher is not good for clumsy people or inquisitive cats.

This is the perfect size for me to make enough iced tea to sip all afternoon at work, or more than enough to share with a friend. The slender design gives it the look of a beaker with a handle. Seems sturdy enough to last.
I purchased the Adagio tea duo back in 2004, and they were awesome - made out of heavy-duty plastic that could take boiling water and the pitcher was 64oz - perfect for an entire day of ice tea. The day came when my teapot could no longer hold hot water when sitting on the counter, and I was forced to purchase a new one. The IngeniuTEA teapot is a fine replacement for the old one, but the pitcher is terrible - smaller than the old one, and the IngeniuTEA teapot sits crooked on top! After two tries of making ice tea with the new pitcher, I simply went back to the old heavy-duty plastic pitcher that I purchased back in 2004, and the IngeniuTEA teapot sits perfectly straight on top, and I can make a nice amount of ice tea. My last complaint is that this pitcher did not come with a lid - no way I can leave a pitcher of ice tea in the fridge without a lid, as tea picks up flavors instantaneously. Whoever designed this pitcher needs to go back and look at the old tea duo and replicate that success.
The pitcher looks very delicate, and isn't very heavy (which is a plus, because lifting heavy glass pitchers isn't very easy on the wrist.) I filled the pitcher with ice and let the tea flow into it from the 32 oz ingenuitea. It fit perfectly. It did melt all the ice, so you'd want to put some ice in your glasses, too.
This is one sleek pitcher, the glass may seem a bit thin but handles cold to very hot and back just fine. Perfect for the various iced teas that adagio sells.

This is the perfect pitcher for making Mugicha, or barley tea. It's slim enough to fit on the shelf of the refrigerator door, yet tall enough to hold a decent amount of water. Although it is glass, it hasn't chipped at all when clinking against other dishes. Plus, it washes up extremely well in the dishwasher.
This pitcher is smaller than I anticipated, but it is good for making small batches of iced tea.
At first when I pulled it out of the box I feared that it was too fragile. Thankfully my fears were unfounded and it has lasted me many months without so much as a scratch.

I. Love. This. Pitcher. Doesn't take up much room in my fridge, looks beautiful, and feels like solid quality (vs. plastic pitchers and the like). It IS a GLASS pitcher, so don't think you can toss it around - but it's not fragile like a wine glass either - so I actually expect it will hold up quite well!
I bought two of these so we could make both hot tea and cold tea. It's easy to brew hot and then put the whole pitcher right into the fridge.
Perfect for helping me get my water consumption in for the day! I drink at least two of them, full every day! If you fill it within about an inch from the top, it holds 42 ounces.

I love 3 of these pitchers and love them. It's the perfect size, super easy to clean and holds all the tea from the 42oz glass teapot. I have the 32oz iced ingenuiTea but got frustrated with floating filter and staining. I got the 42oz glass teapot, microwave the water and find it's perfect size for filling these great glass pitchers. I highly recommend the pitcher and teapot.

Feels delicate, but takes normal daily use without trouble. The narrow-tall design takes up less space in the refrigerator. In fact, I found myself wishing it had a lid, since it would fit easily on the door.
i love this as i was looking for a smaller pitcher but if you are looking for a larger pitcher this is not the one... holds about 2 and 1/2 tall glasses

OMG - This is now my favorite pitcher. I got several of them. I make Iced tea in it, I freeze fruit in it to make flavored water. I do not know what people are talking about that they feel fragile, they are about the same thickness of an ale glass which when I do break one of them, I'll know that I really gave it a workout and I'll buy a few more to replace it.
Great product. The first purchase lasted for two years till my husband killed it. I got the second one and I am thinking of getting another because we drink different kind of teas and it is very handy. If I fill it up with ice; it gives me instant ice tea. Great product.
Great to cool down you tea quickly (for iced tea). Though I do wish it was a bit bigger, it is a high quality pitcher that is pretty resiliant (for glass).

My first pitcher developed a hole in the bottom so it must have been from a bad batch. My replacement pitcher has a thicker bottom and works great. I love using this pitcher to dispense tea from my iced tea ingenuitea pot. It is the perfect size and washes well.
