love being able to see the tea leaves in the pantry!

Definitely prefer the larger size jar to the smaller version since the smaller jars are sometimes not large enough for the fluffier teas.

I LOVE these delicate and beautiful jars! The only thing is I'll have to buy so many of these for all my teas so I may just reserve them for the fancier teas, or for my favorites like cream tea. I always buy the huge 16 oz. bag of it and the Gyokuro. It's so nice to be able to see the leaves. It is an element of the tea that I love. And they are so much better than the metal tins whose plastic tops disintegrated quickly.

This jars are perfect for those who wanna showcase the true beauty of their fine teas. I bought several got my kitchen counter. The only complaint is that the rubber seal around the lid is a bit flimsy so the lid does come off somewhat easily but I don't plan on picking the jar up by the lid anyway. Seals well otherwise.

Good jar, too big for my teas (I like to have a little bit of everything), but very good to keep sugar, etc. Wish the cap was screw-type, not this resin press-push, but still Ok.

Beautiful jar. I use several of the 4oz tins, but I leave my favorite tea for this jar.

Absolutely fantastic piece to hold any of your favorite tea. It also displays the tea perfectly while keeping it protected from harmful rays. The reassuring sound of the air tight seal is music to my ears too.

This is quite nice. Looks quite modern and the cover closes the lid quite tight. I only wished that Adagio makes a bigger jar than this verison.

I enjoy this darling little jar. LOVE that you can see the pretty tea leaves through it. It's smaller than I expected though I should have been warned based on the other reviews.

Absolutely love this jar!!! Got tired of the zippers on the bags breaking and having to keep my tea in a ziplock bag. Works wonderfully! Just wish it was bigger!

This is my favorite size jar. It holds a good supply of the teas I like and buy the most.

Bought these to replace some metal canisters I was using to store tea, and the visual improvement is so far off the charts - they deserve a high rating just for that! They hold about half what my canisters did - I can JUST cram 6oz of tea in if I really squish it down. They're very pretty and understated and the borosilicate glass protects your tea from UV light. It's nice to be able to pick what I'm drinking at a glance instead of having to hunt for the label on the tin.

Attractive and effective. what more is there to say? It showcases the tea nicely without calling attention to itself and seals in the flavor without being difficult to open.

This is a beautiful jar. I just wish it was a little taller so it could hold more tea. That is the only thing keeping it from a 'great' rating.

This pretty jar is big enough to hold around 5 oz of tea.

I now own four of these glass tea jars. I have had two of them for about 5 years, one for more than 4 years, and I just added a fourth. The quality has remained consistent. My teas stay fresh and I love the pretty display they create, showing off the differences between black, green, and rooibos blends. I leave them on the counter next to my Breville tea maker and my tea leaves stay fresh and easily accessible until the last scoop.

this container looks sleek and is great for display but it's also extremely functional.

Nice Size Jar Large enough to hold a good amount of tea.

Keeps the tea fresh and saves a lot of space. Great for when you have a lot of tea that needs to be stored.

These jars are pretty and simple. The glass isn't too thin but I would be more sure that they wouldn't break easily if the glass was just a smidge thicker. Also, the metal top shows smudges and fingerprints very easily that aren't coming off with cleaning.

Great for displaying tea. I previously had tin containers and could not see any of my tea. Adding this to my collection allowed me to put my nice looking teas on display on my desk. Also allows me to identify my teas without labeling them.

I love the jars. I was so excited to get them. I have several with different teas in them and they make the counter look great with the varieties.

I bought a couple of these as alternatives to the 8oz tea tins because I needed containers that would hold 24oz of tea. These will hold no more than 8oz of black tea and far less of other types. Evidently, 24oz is not larger than 8oz. These are attractive, but I'm not confident that the seal is air tight. This makes them less than ideal for tea.

These are great storage containers for your tea. Just wish they had an even larger size to hold a full lb of certain teas.

Doesn't even feel like it closes until you try to open it again. So, it's basically magic.

I am not sure if I just got a dud or what, but the seal on my 24oz jar doesn't seem as secure as the 12oz one. Other than that it's really cute and useful.

I love this jar. It can hold hot tea fresh from the kettle, as well as be put in the fridge to make cold tea. It makes the perfect serving as well plus it's easy to clean.

I love these jars - there's not much else to it. They stack well, and are great for showing off teas.

My favorite way to display all my fav teas! Love these!

I purchased a dozen of these in both sizes and love the style, lids fit snug with a rubber gasket to help hold in air. However, the rubber gaskets also absorb odors. Several of the more fragrant teas (especially my mint) have ruined their jars because I can't get the scent out of the rubber. Soaking multiple days in baking soda, vinegar, hot water, dishwashing liquid (unscented!) , bleach (be careful to dilute or it may dry out the rubber) have had mixed results. It's possible to also stuff with newspapers to try to absorb lingering oders or try or re-season with old/expired tea but that would take months probably. If you prefer fragrant teas and can dedicate each jar to a specific tea then you'll be fine with these. Otherwise, you will have aroma cross contamination which may negatively impact your more sensitive teas.

This was the ideal container I had been searching for. Keeps tea super fresh! Easy to open and very pretty to look at.

These glass jars, while pretty, need to be relabeled. They are the 24oz version but are smaller than the 8oz tins sold in the same display section. That should be made much clearer in the title and product description.

If you are looking for the largest container, this is not it. If you want one that looks nice, go for it.

Great container for our sencha! It is air-tight and beautiful as a display on our kitchen counter.

I needed a vessel, with a good seal on it, to contain the tea from the larger bags I buy. This work very well. I've since bought another one. I keep my 'every day drinkers' in these and the rest of the bag is kept sealed up and in a cupboard.

I love the glass and the seal. They are beautiful and stack nicely.

I read other reviews and didn't really mind that the 24oz was only the jar's weight.

But geez I didn't expect it to be that small! Fits maybe 8oz of tea leaves. Maybe.

Not only that, the lid does not provide an air-tight seal. So I can't even trust it to hold tea leaves. I'm sure I'll find a use for it. Other than my qualms, it's made out of good material. Just not any use for its intended purpose.
