This is a nice little cup. Easy to handle and I like the red poppies a lot. Tried putting in the dishwasher, but won’t do it again. There is a little hole in the bottom which allows the space between the double walls to fill up with water. Makes a terrible mess when you try to use the cup.
I adore it. I absolutely adore it. I am in love. Alas, I have already misplaced the little basket it came with, and I am very mad at myself for this (EDIT: Found it! Woohoo!), but it works just fine with the nice tea filter papers that Adagio sells.
Anyhow, this is a wonderful, wonderful mug. I plan to get at least one or two of the other patterns when I can afford it. It does its job very well. At first, I worried about its lack of a handle, but it quickly made me a believer. The double-walled design prevents the outside from getting too hot while simultaneously providing insulation for the tea. I don't think it's quite as effective as a real thermos would be, but it's certainly a lot better at keeping one's tea warm for long periods of time than the average mug. And the poppy design is lovely. Bright, rich colors. The pigment doesn't seem to come off easily, though we don't have a dishwasher so we handwash everything. I really like how the lid has a little notch for the basket, or (if you use them) the filter bag.
The lid in general is a great addition to this product as well as Adagio's other line of mugs. It keeps the aromatics in while the tea is brewing, leading to a tastier and better-smelling cup when you unlid it after brewing is done. Then you just flip it upside down, and voila, you have a saucer to put the filter bag or basket on. No mess, no fuss, easy cleanup, *and* a better-tasting cup of tea, all thanks to the addition of a well-designed lid. If you put it back on after removing the basket/filter, too, it significantly improves the mug's thermos-like abilities.

nice cup, wish the basket balanced better on the lid but other than that a very nice cup, the heat doesn't balance evenly throughout height of cup, top (right where you sip from) is very very hot;
extra kudos to customer service who replaced the cup because it was crushed in transit

I love this cup. It's the perfect size and keeps the tea not. It's also just a beautiful design for full dreary winter months. I do agree with other reviewers though about putting it in the dishwasher. I don't recommend it because water leaks out the bottom. Otherwise, it's a great cup
As soon as I saw this mug design, it made me smile! :) Such a cheerful energy to have around while working or just chilling and soaking in a good book!
I bought this as a gift for a friend and she loves it. It's beautiful and well made. I might buy one for myself.
