I bought my first mug when the glass infuser was used. I have a swinging kitchen door. it opened while i was walking by , BOOM tea and mug exploded as the two meet. no barefeet were harmed , lol . I hope my next mug last as long as my first one. about 8 years.

while glass is thin, it's not too thin. Still durable, don't feel the full heat of hot water poured in it. Lightweight, easy to use, clean and distinguish when tea has steamed enough.

UPDATE: cracked apparently due to temperature fluctuation after I drank some tea and then set it down on my desk. I was in a meeting when I heard a high pitched ping and I looked over at my coaster and the mug had a cup at the bottom of the handle. A mug for holding tea should absolutely be able to survive the temperature fluctuation of having hot tea in it and then being room temperature
Does what it says on the side of the tin. Holds tea in it. Has a large hole at the top where the tea can come out. There's a place to hold it with your hand. Overall, I'd say this mug succeeds at being a mug

Love this little glass mug. It is very thin walled and it will not keep your tea has hot as a double walled mug, but that's good for me. I enjoy tasting the tea at the different temps to see what flavors come through as it cools. It is a wonderful mug that will show the beautiful color of the teas that you are steeping.
This mug was worth every penny and then some. I didn't realize how much more pleasure I'd get from being able to see my tea in a clear glass mug than in opaque ones, but now it's one of my favorite things about my daily tea ritual. Tea is really beautiful. I love the wide variety in colors that my various teas offer. And that's something I totally missed when I was drinking out of traditional teacups or ceramic mugs. I bought one of these several years ago. My housemate accidentally broke it recently. I was SO glad I could get a replacement. I use this most for brewing new teas so I know they get the best steeping.
Wonderful cup! Was pretty nervous about ordering due to reviews saying that it’s super thin and fragile, but the cup isn’t actually that thin. It feels quite durable even when holding a full glass, and pretty much anything looks very pretty in it.

Well, it is a mug. I do like the fact that it is glass, because that means I can see the colours of the teas better, which is part of the experience.

Won't use any other cup then this one, the thin wall helps when drinking hot liquid and not burning the mouth. Plus it keeps the liquid hot.

I bought two of these mugs for serving blue tea to myself and my partner, as a companion to the glass teapot. They're a nice size and well constructed, but I'm taking a star off for a minor gripe - the handle is a bit on the small side, and I've singed my fingers a couple of times/been in danger of dropping and breaking the mug. I've kept the boxes the mugs came in, and as soon as they're empty, they get rinsed and dried and put back, for safekeeping. They should last quite a long time that way!
Purchased this glass mug as a replacement having recently broken the glass mug that comes with the strainer and lid set also sold by Adagio. The previous glass mug lasted for 13 years, so they are sturdy. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because, as others have mentioned, the handle is just a little too small to be fully comfortable.

I bought this glass so I could enjoy the colour of the tea. Yes, that's spelled with a 'u', that's how you know it's serious business. Seems thin enough to break easily, but has stood up to normal usage fine.
It doesn't insulate from heat well, so you have to use the handle exclusively, and it is very narrow, the looped design makes it harder to hold for people with larger hands.

It does what a mug should do: It holds liquid! It also looks very nice, showing off the color of your tea and looking classy. You almost feel like Captain Picard sipping away at your Earl Grey and staring out the window into the cold, lifeless void of outer space. It's also very affordable!
That's the good news. The bad news is that it's very thin and fragile. I'm confident this would shatter into a billion pieces if knocked around with other dishes (though I haven't tested that out). The handle is also a little small, but that's fine with me because I have tiny ridiculous hands and it works great for me.

Holds fluid with no difficulty. Feels much more fragile than it is in my experience. The handle is a bit short, so it can be tough to hold the mug by the handle without touching the hot glass.
