rooibos tea combined with apple pieces, cocoa bits and caramel is so good @adagioteas

A tasty Christmas tea that tastes good by itself or as a tea latte.

This tea is what the scene in every Hallmark Christmas movie when the female protagonist sips something from a mug, wearing a sweater with sleeves so long they cover all but her fingertips watches fat snowflakes fall outside while a fire crackles behind her tastes like

Wonderful rooibos blend for the holidays. The nuts, candied caramel and mild fruit are a incredible combination of flavors. 'Merry Christmas'

I’ll start by saying I’m not a red rooibos fan. That being said, I didn’t hate this one. I didn’t taste much of the chocolate in this one, mine was heavier on the nutty flavors. It wasn’t my kind of tea because of the rooibos but if you’re a fan this would be tasty.

CommuniTEA Review: This tea was just okay for me. I'm typically not a rooibos fan and the other flavors weren't strong enough to mask the medicinal taste of it.

Delicious combinations! Everything is wonderfully blended and no flavor is overpowering the other. One of the great flavors!

I'm never going to live a red rooibos but the flavors conceal it enough for this to be tolerable.

It's a good rooibos tea, though I didn't really taste any of the caramel or cocoa flavors that are mentioned.

Delicious blend. I really felt the nutcracker sprit drinking this one.

Not a fan of this one. Mostly tasted the rooibos with almost no caramel or cocoa flavor.

Pleasantly nutty and caffeine free? Count me in! This was a delightful treat with some added cream and sugar.

Smells sweet and fruity! Great smooth taste with a nutty chestnut and caramel flavor. Good once a year, not every year.

While I admit I drank this more “on the go” than I’d prefer, and that was long enough ago in the day that I don’t fully remember the nuances of flavor, I DID turn right around and throw a 3oz bag of this in my cart so. Yeah. I enjoyed it.

Nutty and caramel scents wafted up enticingly out of tonight's packet.
A full 5 minutes at 212°F steeped into a russet-colored tisane.

Nutty flavors were plentiful in the first and subsequent sips. An abundance of rich roasted chestnut flavor enhanced the already toasty hazelnut and woody rooibos. A mild caramel adds a bit of depth and evokes the sweeter element of a nutty holiday treat. Cocoa brought a slight edge of semisweet dark chocolate, which goes perfectly alongside caramel and the nutty duo.

So this is why nutcrackers are so crazy about nuts... they must be drinking this tea! 💂🌰

Y’all, I love good tea. Like, really love it. Even when I come across a flavor that isn’t to my liking, I’m still gonna drink it. I love tea that much. But this tea. This is like the best day ever in a cup. I’m not usually a fan of rooibos at all, but this is SERIOUSLY GOOD TEA. I drink it with almond and vanilla sugar-free syrup and heavy cream and it is heavenly. Y’all need to try this one.

Very nice rooibos tea and 'Awesome' for the holidays.! Love the very deep caramel syrup like taste with roasted nut flavors. 5 minutes : 212 Temp : 12 oz mug : 1 tsp of honey :

A sweet and nutty tea, that goes down very smoothly and too quickly. I could not taste any cocoa flavors, but it was delicious!

I added cream and sugar in an attempt to mask the rooibos flavor, but it still had just the worst rooibos aftertaste. I couldn't finish the cup.

Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: Strong sweet hazelnut with medicinal rooibos fragrance wafting from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 5 mins at 212° F, I notice a buttery maple-nut fragrance from my cup. When I take a sip, I get a warm, toasted hazelnut with medicinal rooibos tea with with buttery, salty caramel on the finish.

Todays communiTEA wasn't my cup of tea...I don't like red rooibos, however, if you do...this might be your cup of tea. I still prepared my sample and tasted it...to me it seemed nutty and sweet. I didn't get any chocolate flavor.

Fabulous latte

Or just anytime!

Richly flavored blend
That dances, jumps, swirls, and twirls
Timeless piece of art!

Old review: I am on my second 3 oz bag of this tea! I drink a lot of tea, so variety (or should I say, varie-tea) is important to me. This tea is very unique and the flavors blend very well, a tea cup to sip and savor, for sure!

What a nice surprise to have this in the advent calendar one day and CommuniTea the next. This is my first time trying this rooibos tea. The nutty, chocolate, caramel flavors were blended nicely together. I enjoyed several cups in the evening while looking at my Christmas tree. Love that this is caffeine free holiday tea.

Rooibos really shines here with favorite flavors caramel, chocolate and hazelnut. Its sweet woody flavor compliments the warm, buttery chocolate and nutty flavors well while adding a soft earthy accent overall. A fun holiday brew and with a little sweetener it’s even more delicious.

My Ct packet had a generous 4 g / 2 ¼ tsp of tea with all ingredients. The blue cornflowers, yellow marigolds and apple pieces, red rooibos and brown cocoa nibs are perfect nutcracker colors. Brewed the first cup of 13 oz. at 212*F for 5 minutes then enjoyed a smaller resteep for more time. Found the hazelnut scented orange brown liquor tasty enough to sip au natural even for a sweet tooth like me. A sweetener add, though, boosted the pleasant hazelnut taste and soft earthy choco/caramel flavor for a cozy cup of holiday cheer.

2020 Dec. 30 I enjoyed the melody of flavors in today's rooibos tea and drank the first and second steeps unadorned and without my usual milk and sugar additions. The wonderful earthy mix of caramel, hazelnut, and chestnut with a hint of chocolate nicely balances the lighter tones of apple, marigold, and cornflower for a tasty and satisfying tea that stands well on its own merits. No doctoring needed just enjoy!

CommuniTEA Sample: It was one of the better rooibos teas that I've had lately, but still has that underlying medicinal flavor that I don't care for. But, I think the tea does deliver on what it intends to, and if you are a rooibos fan that loves dessert tea, then this should be right up your ally. It tastes quite sweet for a tea with no sugar in it.

What a cozy cup of nutty flavors. It's the perfect holiday tea to sip and watch the snow fall on a chilly morning. I added a touch of honey and some milk which brought out the flavors. So, so yummy!

It does have it's nutty taste, but it's not as nutty as chestnut. I can buy this next year, but maybe in the sample bags. UPDATE (12/18/2021): I'm upgrading this one to five stars. I've bought regular bags over the years and drank it during the winters past and will this winter. I've grown to really love it.

Love this yummy tea blend. It was the very first Adagio tea I tried. My sister sent me a packet of it and it started my obsession for Adagio tea. The nutty caramel taste with the added sweetness of rooibos makes for a nice any time sweet treat treat.

The Nutcracker tea smells strongly of sweet caramel. The rooibos is a predominant flavor, but blends well with the caramel and cocoa. It also provides a natural sweetness to the tea, so it needs little to no sweetener added. The tea even seems to taste sweeter as it cools. Nice tea when you have a hankering for something sweet, but don't want the extra calories.

30 Dec 2020 communiTEA review: Pleasant nutty aromas were noted immediately upon opening my communiTEA packet. There was more than a normal amount of marigold threads seen. The cocoa nibs, blue cornflower and marigold threads were off in the corner with the apple pieces getting ready to march into my steeper.

When hot, I was presented with a vibrant red color brew. Woody flavors from rooibos were noted. Pleasant nutty flavors were mild. Some bitterness from the cocoa nibs and marigold were noted. I added some sugar to tone this down and add some sweetness to the mix.

When warm, tart mild apple, caramel and cocoa flavors were noted. An acceptable amount of bitterness was still present, but worked well with the nutty flavors.

The caramel smoothed out all flavors together toward finish to provide a very nice sip indeed. This was nut crackin’ at it’s finest. My compliments to the Nutcracker! (5 mins @ 212ºF, 1/4 tsp sugar)

I'm not much of a caramel person, but I had to give this a try -- I'm so glad I did! It's divine! It reminds me of warm Christmas cookies, especially with a bit of sugar and milk. I also love that there's no caffeine, so it's perfect for a cozy cuppa at the end of the day.

This is the tea that teaches me how important it is to spend some time healing my mind and body at the end of a day. While I'm a go-to black tea drinker from the morning on, this blend rooibos blend broadens my horizons and really feels like a treat. Makes for a flavorful cup with all the right seasonal flavors. Tasted similar to other adagio herbal teas so it didn't stand out to me as I had hoped it would. I had hoped there would be more nuttiness but maybe it was just my batch? Cute, Festive tea blend name!
