Doesn't take long for this rooibos to steep inside a teabag so don't leave it in unless you like the medicinal taste. Rooibos I don't find naturally 'sweet' or tasty really but I said what the heck since it's half off. It's lemon meringue alright. Very tasty with the TINIEST pinch of stevia. Consider me INTRIGUED.

This is my favorite tea!!! Tastes great and easy to make. Very similar to Roobis Lemon Twist from Tevanna.

It's not bad, but it doesn't taste like lemon either...maybe because it's lemon flavor rather than dried lemon? The vanilla flavor is there but not very strong. Overall it's okay, but not what I was expecting.

This is one of my favorite classic teas.
My husband likes it as well, and he's picky about his teas.

Very Delicious vanilla and lemon taste and a wonderful rooibos base. I enjoyed the herbal tea only hot.

I just love lemon cream-vanilla flavor and it goes very well with rooibos. I use adagio honey and steep for 5 minutes.

This had a nice lemony taste. I like Rooibos but I didn’t notice it in this blend. I cold-brewed it overnight, probably about 12+ hours. It seemed to me that the flavor was even better as it got closer to room temp. It was very refreshing.

Smells strongly of lemon with hints of vanilla. Has a zesty lemon flavor that isn't sour or tart. Vanilla follows it up, and gives the tea a touch of sweetness. The rooibos flavor is subtle and melds well with the vanilla. A nice dessert tea reminiscent of lemon meringue.
★★★★★
This tastes like a wonderful lemon desert. The lemon flavor is softened like in a desert not like lemonade so it is very pleasant to drink and feels like I am having extra sweets. So many people mentioned that this tastes even better cold so I will have to try that next time. (212F for 5min)

You can really smell the lemon and taste the lemon. Great job! (190 @ 5 min).

Nice rooibos citrus blend. Was feeling a little rough today and this tea definitely helped. The lemon flavor was definitely strong.

CommuniTEA portion: Cold steeped for about 10 hours. I think cold steeping was the way to go with this one. Not especially lemony to me but what was present smoothed out the rooibos for me. Refreshing with a slight tang and some other fruity sweetness.

Nice mild lemon flavor. I might like it a bit more pronounce but refreshing taste overall.

For a red rooibos, this is pretty good - especially cold brewed. It has a nice, lively lemon flavor with a delicate hint of vanilla.

I was wondering how this tisane could be described as fluffy, until I tasted it. The vanilla lemon combination is wonderful on a rooibus base. It’s a delicious desert like beverage. Enjoyed with the Communitea today. Will be enjoying in the near future as my own purchase.

The earthy roiboos goes perfectly with the tartness of the lemon, which is then softened just in the subtlest of ways by the vanilla. It makes me think of a vanilla cake with lemon icing, but not nearly as sweet [in a good way].

Really nice! It has a smooth, creamy lemon flavor. It tastes soothing, would be good for a cold.

Menthol rooibos flavors combine with lemon in a way that tastes exactly like a vitamin C cough drop... But subtle cream flavors smooth things over nicely. I'm a big rooibos hater, but this one could be a win for those who like it!

A good rooibos blend tea that I can enjoy anytime of the day! Well done Adagio!! Vanilla rounds this blend out and with added sweetener it taste like a dessert tea.

The lemon flavor was nice and mellow like a lemon merengue pie filling. This is a nice change from more astringent lemon teas.

I love lemon tea! Another tea company makes a lemon meringue tea I love. This reminds me of that minus the meringue pieces but a little honey can fix that.

4/9/2021 - Mmmmmmm! Lemon is my favorite flavor, so I knew I would love this tea! Lovely lemon scent when I opened the packet. Brewed 5 minutes at 212F. The lemon and vanilla flavors blend nicely with the rooibos. Nice cup of tea to start out my day!
8/20/2022 - The last few rooibos blends I've tried I have not really enjoyed. I was beginning to think my tastes had changed enough to make rooibos not really enjoyable for me anymore, but I am happy to report that I tried this tea today and still love it! So, rooibos is not off the table just certain blends don't work for me. Still love this tea...the taste reminds me of these little lemon shortbread cookies a friend used to make. Lovely!

I really enjoyed this tea! It tasted delicious as an iced tea without any sweetener needed, and I'm sure it would have tasted good hot as well. I plan to add this tea to my next order.

A rooibos I can get behind! For a rooibos this is pretty good, the lemony cream flavor masks the rooibos oddness and blends into a tasty tea.

As others have commented, the lemon aroma from the packet of this tea is amazing! It left me wanting a stronger lemon flavor in the tea, but it wasn’t there for me. This is a very good sweet lemon cookie taste. It was consistent and pleasant but not as good as Lavender Lemon is. I will stick with that when I want a caffeine free lemon tea. I steeped at 212 degrees for 5 minutes and added some raw honey.

UPDATED 8-20-22: Today's CommuniTEA is Rooibos Lemon Cloud. I tried this tea again with a lot of extra flavor this time - raspberry leaves, mango, orange peels, strawberry, and fruit tisanes honey. Unfortunately, it did not help much at all. I am afraid I just cannot recommend this tea. I even bumped it down to 3 stars as I am struggling to find a good way to brew it or even pair it.
ORIGINAL: I tried my Rooibos Lemon Cloud iced with some rock sugar. The lemon flavor is very subtle, which is good in my opinion, but overall the tea was just okay. It did not have a lot of flavor in general. This might be good as sort of an accent tea in a blend, but I'd have to experiment with it more to be sure. I think I would recommend this tea, but for blending only.

All I get is lemon and citronella. It is good it the fact that the rooibos is disguised but the flavor it is replaced with is not that appealing. Perhaps this is good if you like rooibos or lemon though.

Today's CommuniTEA was 🍋☁️ a Lemon Cloud that quite made me think of a Lemon Cough Drop! I have enjoyed this in blends, brewed hot...but I cold brewed this selection today & quite enjoyed the Lemon-y WOW factor, in this mode of tea steep, that is the RLC!

Rooibos Lemon Cloud
Recommended Steep: 5 minutes @212°F . I steeped this blend @212°F for approximately 5 minutes because I forgot to set the timer right away. I steeped in 11 oz of hot water with 1.5 tsp rock/tea sugar in .
This tea smelled very strongly of citrus when I opened the packet and all the ingredients appear to be present. I’m not sure how I feel about rooibus and lemon together, but unless it is really something I know ahead of time that I can’t handle or really don’t like, I want to try what I receive in the CommuniTEA.
The jury is still out on this tea, even as it cools. It isn’t that I don’t like the flavors, it’s just that I’m not sure I like the flavors together. The rooibos almost overpowers any citrus flavor, and the result is a bit odd, not necessarily bad, just odd. At the moment, I would rate this a solid 3. I wouldn’t turn it down if it was offered to me, but I don’t think I would go out of my way to purchase it either.
Hmmm...addendum: I’m glad I decided to finish this. This tea improves rather dramatically as it cools. It ends up being a very smooth cup and enjoyable, although still a little odd. That’s okay. I like odd. Final rating: 4

Really enjoyed this one - the lemon is creamy like frosting and not trying to be tart lemonade. I always worry about lemon edging toward 'cleaner scent' and it didn't go that direction either. Just scrummy dessert, wish I'd have had a cookie to nibble with it. I'd totally keep this around for kids *and* me!

At first it tastes like awesome lemon, lemon, lemon. Then the rooibos comes rushing in to the forefront and ruins everything. Three stars because it’s probably worth at least that much to someone who loves lemon and who can, at least, tolerate rooibos.

Wowza! That’s a lot of lemon! My cheeks are still puckering. This was a delicious sweet treat - no additives needed - that reminded me of lemon bars. I probably prefer Lavender Lemon for an everyday lemon tea, but when life is *extra* (as the kids say), that’s when I will elevate to the Rooibos Lemon Cloud.

UPDATED from 4/9/21: What a lemony aroma wafting up from the CommuniTEA packet. Donovan’s “They call me mellow yellow…” starts singing in my brain as the tea steeps into a dark reddish orange. Oh, the flavor is lemon, but a very mild one, with the red rooibos’s woody accent. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener does help bring out some fruit flavors. As I hum “mellow yellow” I squeeze four drops of fresh lemon into the cup. Voila, success! The tea is now very lemon-y! Joyfully I start dancing as I sing out “they call me mellow yellow - quite right...” (as my dog watches quizzically). Such a rich, wonderful caffeine free tea. I will need to add it to my rooibos collection for summer iced tea. (5 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).

I'm not the biggest fan of lemon as I've found out, but it's not sour or acidic at all in this. Unlike regular rooibos, you can't oversteep this or else the lemon gets too overpowering.
