I wanted to love this, thinking it would be like a rooibosy lemon bar. It's okay but nothing spectacular. I find myself wishing the whole thing just had a much stronger flavor.
A combination of bright, tangy citrus notes with creamy vanilla and a hint of lemongrass producing a soft, fluffy, lemon cream taste.

I like rooibos for its benefits, and I like the tea and its idea, but it doesn't have enough lemon taste for me. I wanted a strong lemon flavor and I got rooibos. So, for rooibos prettiness, it's good.
Absolutely delicious ~ very much like a lemon cookie. If lemon cookies were liquid, they'd taste like this. Highly recommended
I just leave the teabag in the cup, usually ~ it never gets too strong
The rooibos flavor stands out here, which isn't a bad thing. Less tart than a true lemon tea. I imagine sugar would add something to this, but I never use it in tea, so I will likely gravitate to other rooibos teas I like more.
This smells delicious, like lemon cookies, but there's not much lemon flavor in the liquor itself. It's sort of an afterthought to the really bold rooibos. That being said, the rooibos tastes excellent, and I think this will be amazing for a hot cup in the winter.
UPDATE: I found the lemon taste - add about half a teaspoon of sugar!
I'm very on the fence about this one. This tea has a lot of the woodsy flavor that I associate with this type of rooibos. In fact, it kind of takes over the cup. The lemon itself is there, but I was expecting more of a tart lemon flavor (similar to green rooibos citron). This has a much more creamy flavor. It reminds me of lemon pies, but lacking a bit in the lemon flavor. There is an interesting almost mallow flavor in there too that is pretty tasty!
This is a very tasty red, and the smell is refreshing too! Very citrus, and in a way that stays in the brewed taste and not just as the smell.
I really liked the lemon flavor in this tea along with the coolness of the rooibos.
Today I received my batch of tea's from Adagio. I had recently bought from a popular tea store in the local mall, but I often found there variety limited, so it was heavily suggested that I try adagio. With Lemon being my favorite fruit, I was quick to order this on a whim, and boy was I in for a treat. I prefer my tea's stout so I mixed 3 cups of water and 3 1/2 teas spoons of Lemon cloud kept the water at 200, instead of 212 and instead of 5 min I decided on 6 minutes to steep. The color is amazing, like a rust or muddy brown. The aroma right away made me daydream of someone quite special as we are both lovers of Lemon. I find this to be almost like a desert tea.The Lemongrass hits me at first followed by the creaminess of vanilla. It is sweet, yet strong enough not to require sugar. If I were to add sugar, I will use a hint of brown sugar with a tiny splash of creme. This being the first of 5 tea's I had purchased instantly assured me of wonderful relaxing times ahead. :)
Rooibos and lemon go really well together. I also really love the color of rooibos, it looks really pretty in a glass mug or teacup.
I was looking for more lemon flavor to blend with the wild strawberry tea. does have a nice aroma, but not as much lemon as I thought it would have.
Lemon meringue in a cup. Sweet, tangy, and refreshing both warm and iced.
Okay on its own, but it really shines when brewed strong with ice, milk and sugar.
Lemony rooibos goodness! Packs a good lemony punch even without the caffeine!
Not my favorite tea, smells a bit better than it tastes, but this is amazing with milk and sugar. Tastes very much like a lemon cookie.
After smelling this in the store, I knew that it would make a delicious cup of iced tea on a hot summer's day. And it does - no sweetner needed due to the richness of the rooibos tea. I haven't tried it as a hot tea yet, but I imagine that it would be just as delicious - though not as refreshing!
I keep giving rooibos a try, and I keep realizing that I shouldn't. Personal preferences aside, this certainly SMELLS lemony and creamy, and it certainly got me excited to drink it. However, the flavors are a bit lost to the rooibos. Not bad, not really that great. I'm sure milk and honey would improve the flavor, but I'm not interested in teas I have to 'doctor up' in order to enjoy them at all. I do think this would be good for baking in pound cakes and shortbread cookies, though!
I put a little bit of sugar in to help bring out the flavor and was left in love. It's like drinking delicate lemon clouds. Wonderful
Bought this tea for my mom, who drinks mostly herbals and reds. I usually don't particularly care for rooibos, but I found this to be a very nice blend. It's a nice light tea, probably a good dessert tea with scones. It's good for a second infusion, which my mom said was almost as good as the first. Her input is: It's good with toast, and best lightly sweetened to bring out the light lemon flavor. If you're looking for lemon, this isn't it, but it is very good
My mother in law enjoyed this tea quite a bit hot. I thought it was 'good enough' hot. I bought this for something interesting iced. It's OK. It seems a little heavy on the 'creme' flavor for me though and not enough on the lemon side. I may try mixing it with some more lemongrass, but I'm not sure. I was looking for something light and lemony, but not just plain lemongrass. This isn't it, but it's not bad either.
This tea was divine! Upon first taste, this just tasted like a plain rooibos to me, but as soon as the taste settled on my tongue, I caught the lemony notes--it tastes just like a Girl Scout cookie!
Great on its own, or blended with other teas. With a little bit of cream, and sugar it tastes like lemon meringue pie.
Ever since I first tried roobios tea I've been a big fan of it. So I was excited when brewing this little gem. I was having a little tea party with my girlfriends when I first tried this and I have to say that it was exceptional. The lemon flavor is subtle but absolutely delicious. One of my friends who attended the party has actually bought a sample of this very same tea. I would very much recommend it to other adventurous tea lovers.
Very good as an iced tea, sweet, the lemon isn't overpowering.
This tea is heavenly! Smooth creamy lemon flavor with a touch of vanilla. Simply wonderful!
I like red tea and lemon so this tea worked out for me. Bonus is that it is decaf so I can drink it before bed.
Too sweet for my taste, not a big fan of a strong vanilla flavor in my tea, and this had a very strong vanilla flavor. I think the right term would be 'cloying'. Not a fan of this, and will not buy again.
I bought this tea because I tried a competitor's lemongrass chai rooibos tea and I wanted this to be like that (even though I know there's no chai in it). It's not like that - but it is very creamy and lemony! I'm going to try mixing a bit of the masala chai tea in with it and see if I can reproduce the flavor I'm seeking, but even if I can't - this is a really nice citrusy afternoon or dessert tea!
A light, lovely tea. Standard rooibos flavor with a buttery lemon haze. Excellent both hot and iced.
Great on its own w/a bit of sugar but fantastic when you add milk or any type of creamer you enjoy. It's like drinking a lemon cream sandwich cookie.
If you are new to loose leaf teas Rooibos are a great tea to start out with. You cannot over brew so you can experiment w/the amount you use w/o ruining the tea. Steep overnight in the fridge for a great lemon iced tea in the morning.
I tried this tea on a whim, and I'm glad I did! It has a wonderful lemony scent in the bag. When brewed, it still has a light lemon flavor, but also vanilla and...flowers, I suppose? Anyway, it's a very pleasant tea, perfect for relaxing with a book.
Opening this bag reminds me of those lemon sandwich girl scout cookies. Ooohh, those are so good. Brewing it knocks the lemon flavor back a little bit, but it's still a great cup of slightly floral, vanilla, lemony goodness. I love this tea.
Great lemony flavor with vanilla. It tastes like dessert! I will be having this after dinner from now on.
Smells nice. Good unsweetened or sweetened. when sweetened it tastes vaguely like lemon jello.
Delicious! From the moment I opened the bag I knew this was going to be delicious. It's lemony and creamy at the same time. It's a new favorite.
Has a great lemon flavor, without overpowering the rooibos. It's good by itself, but mixes well with other fruity blends.
Drink this right now! Good rooibos tea with a hint lemon!
Really nice all on it's own. I thought I'd like it with milk and sugar but it actually didn't really work for me. But I love it straight up!
The tea was not exceptionally lemony. All and all it tasted pretty good.
All of the rooibos I have tried thus far have been delicious and this one is no exception
I love it. Full of flowers it is like summer in a cup. Great for iced tea.
I loved this! It's a little like a lemon cookie dipped in rooibus.
The lemon is deceptive in this tea. It's a smoother lemon than most tangy lemon teas. It works very well by itself, but even some milk brings it out nicely (and I haven't seen any curdling). A perfect refresher with/after dinner.
Wow!!! This blend is exceptionally good! The creaminess of the vanilla is nicely balanced by the brightness of the lemon grass. There's none of the citrus bite that some lemon teas can have- this is a lovely mellow smooth tea. Excellent hot or iced. Needs no sweetener. Easily my new favorite!
When they say lemon cloud, they mean lemon cloud. My roommate and I were stunned by how light and refreshing this tea is. I like it straight or with some sugar.
Lemon was a little over the top but it made a great mixer
One of my favorite teas ever!! Smooth, lemon taste and almost seems creamy although it is transparent.
I adore this one! It's soooo citrusy. I plan on using this one when I need a pick-me-up, especially on a cold day!
This is a good tea, light in flavor, but not enough lemon taste for me.
Testing 3 lemon ones tonight (also citron green and lemon soleil), and this is favorite of 3. However, a bit on the weak side but pleasant enough.
