A more pleasant flavor than Green Rooibos Citron. I am admittedly a huge fan of lemongrass and the cream flavoring, so I suspected that I would prefer this one. 'Cloud' is an apt descriptor because it tastes like a fluffy lemon flavored marshmallow.
Sweeter than I expected! But so delicious, like candy. An instant favorite for me.
Very lemony with a hint of sweetness and the earthiness of the rooibos to balance! Personally, I added a portion card of lavender floeerd to mske me an easier lavender-lemon to drink!

This was a nice light tea, also caffeine free, with light lemon taste. Could also detect a hint of vanilla that added a dessert like element.
Has a slight creaminess with that little whisper of lemon, it really is so light and refreshing. Need to try it iced some time.
By itself it's not much, but this one is surprisingly good with some dark cocoa. A pleasant lemon that goes surprisingly well with my afternoon tesa!

Rooibos lemon cloud tastes like a lemon meringue pie, soft and creamy. It’s a nice flavor profile. I’m not sure if it’s my favorite combined with the rooibos. Definitely interesting to try, but not my favorite.
I generally like red rooibos (though it does tend to overpower other flavors), but this time the lemon and vanilla balance it quite well.
A phenomenal and mellow flavor for fans of the lemon loaf tea this is a good alternative with a slightly different flavor profile but it was very mellow and smooth. Rooibos is always a slam dunk in my opinion though.
Love the rooibos vanilla-like sweetness amped up by some extra vanilla. I thought it worked pretty well with the lemon flavoring. Texture was also nice, but I could see adding a splash of milk to this to lean more toward a treat like cup. I think if I wanted a lemon tea (which is not often) I would keep lemon meringue green in stock instead. The main reason is it has more of the tart lemon flavor I like and I think if this one raised the lemongrass content a bit it may head more toward that flavor. Still pretty awesome drink today though glad I got to try it and added nothing to cup. 212° 5 min
the smell can at moments waft toward me, reminiscent of a strong cleaner... very Lemony! The flavor is spectacular! Great Lemony goodness really makes the rooibos smooth and soft!

CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F, This is very strong and definitely captures the lemon, the vanilla, and the rooibos. I find the vanilla to be a little bit too strong and sweet smelling, and I wish that the tea was overall a little bit more tart, either more lemongrass, or actual lemon added to it. I did find it refreshing and smooth though, and I thought that the Meyer lemon plays well with the floral qualities in the vanilla, and vanilla plays well with the woody qualities in the rooibos, and some of the savory aspects of that pair well with the lemongrass, and it creates a complete cycle! If just served hot, I would probably give it four stars. But, it feels very refreshing, it felt like I had to try it iced, so I did that, and I really didn't like it. To artificial flavorings, the Meyer lemon became too much like a cleaning product, the vanilla was too cloying, overall, not good. Giving it a three star vote to balance it out, since I enjoyed it enough hot!
This tea really surprised me!! It reminds me of “lemon cream” cookies we used to have as kids…. A beautiful balance of lemon with sweetness.
The lemon creme flavor is perfectly balanced with the smoky rooibos. Absolutely delightful for an afternoon tea, or anytime. Also paper very well with my almond tea cake.

Rooibos Lemon Cloud is a nice but subtle taste of lemon. The downside for me is that it is still very strongly rooibos, which taste a little medicine-y to me. I prefer honeybush, if I'm going to drink a red tea.
I like this better than I expected. The creaminess of the vanilla does a lot to mellow out the tartness of this lemon flavored tea. And it has a dessert-like flavor that isn’t too sweet. I love it!

I looked past this tea a bunch of times but my hubs wanted it. I just decided to brew a pot and WOW it is delicious like a soothing desert (I add sugar to everything, sorry). It is smooth and bright and tastes like a light dessert. Perfect!
surprisingly awesome tea. i don't like lemon teas, but this is nothing that I expected. lemon flavor is tender and mixed with vanilla and lemongrass creates a unique flavor.

2024 update: Cold brewed this one today. It really enhances that woody red rooibos flavor that is so divisive.

If you like the taste of Rooibos, this is delicious version to try. The lemon and vanilla pairs well in this herbal blend.
It tastes a lot like the lemon meringue green, but red, obviously. I prefer the green tea, but it's got more flavor than the lemon black tea.
Delicious and creamy lemon packed tea. I loved it. I Added a little honey and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
I always open and smell thae pouch first and being a coconut lover this was dreamy. I keep many of my favorites pouches to smell again and again! love this tea! very satisfying and even satisfys the sweet tooth with a touch of my Japanese honey!
Today's communiTEA sample: The scent of the tea is lemony. But I didn't care for the overall taste. At first it tastes like lemon, then a medicinal woody flavor hits your tastebuds.
This tea smells enticing; but the taste did not match the aroma. Yes, the taste of lemon and vanilla is there; but it was off-putting, like it was weakly infused with citrus flavor. I suspect it's the rooibos messing it all up, there is no masking the taste of rust! Less rooibos and more lemon, please!

This is pretty good and a great alternative for those who prefer caffeine-free teas. Be cautious how much tea you use and how long you steep it. It can easily be made too strong which makes it smell like a household floor cleaner. Keep it delicate.
