Earl grey is my go-to flavor of choice! Rooibos is a tea I would like to like but just find it too woodsy for me. So I was unsure how I would like this and was excited to try it as part of the CommuniTEA. When hot the Earl grey came through nicely not to strong. As the tea cooled, the Rooibos came forward. This is a tea is would keep on my cup warmer! If you are looking for a decaffeinated tea but still want the earl grey flavor, I think you would be pleased with this one.
The bergamot carries through well and somewhat hides the rooibos flavor. It’s a decent compromise for a decaf earl grey, although I would be very excited to try it with a green rooibos instead of the red.
A wonderful tea for a late night earl grey craving. Sweet on it's own, I didn't need to add anything to enjoy it.
You can definitely taste the Rooibos undertones, but the bergamot is very prevalent. A very convincing dupe for a traditional earl grey tea, but without any caffeine (or oxalates, for those who can't have black tea).
This is a nice caffeine-free alternative for evenings. It doesn’t pack quite the same punch as regular earl grey, but it scratches the itch.
These are a good balance for each other. The black tea flavor of the Early Grey is offset nicely by the slightly sweet rooibos. I wasn't sure what to expect from this and am pleasantly surprised.

I like this cup a lot. I have always had a weakness for Earl Grey tea, but since I can no longer drink caffeine, I have not been able to enjoy the wonderful iconic taste I love so well. This cup represents Earl Grey fairly well. The sharp bergamot flavor is present in just the amount you crave. The rooibos presents a smoother, mellower and less 'dry' cup than the black tea version. This makes the overall experience of the cup somewhat different than the original, but it is still a lovely representation of a totally caffeine-free Earl Grey. This cup makes my heart glad. Sip it with a thinly sliced lemon in the cup. Oh yum! Thank you, Adagio, for providing this lovely piquant tea.
I'm just not a fan of the rooibos tea I have tried here. It smells good, but there is an off-flavor that I don't know how to describe.
The Roobibus Earl Grey is a great tea. I enjoy drinking the Earl Grey Tea varieties from Adagio.
This is a pretty good non-caffinated version of Earl Grey for the evenings. One of my favorite varities of rooibos.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much when I opened my portion pack of Rooibos Earl Grey, but it was so amazingly delicious I went and bought a full pack. It’s very strong and the bergamot comes through really well.
We received a sample of the Rooibos Earl Grey and my 8 yr old son LOVED it! We had to purchase a bag:)
This is my preferred black tea right now and I drink it almost everyday. It smells really good but the actual taste is not too strong unless you steep it for a long time.
This tea is a really nice mellow version of a classic earl grey, the rooibos removes the possibility of oversteeping what would otherwise be the black tea base traditionally and gives the flavor profile a nice lightness and a hint of grain-like sweetness. I really enjoyed being able to have a cup of earl grey before bedtime and not have to worry about being up all night, as usually earl greys are high caffinated teas. I have tried almost all of the earl greys that adagio offers here, with the exception of bella luna, green, and decaf, but I think I will probably work my way through at least some of those at some point.
I love this! In this tea there is a nice strong bergamot essence with a present hint of orange citrus, complemented by the red rooibos. It's a wonderful Earl Grey tea without all the caffeine. Great for an evening or afternoon Earl Grey fix or just someone who wants to reduce their caffeine intake but still enjoy a more traditional tea. You won't miss the black tea.

I love both earl grey and rooibos, so this is an excellent match. The bergamot is strong, just how I like it.
Got a sample pouch at first, and this has been one of our favorites. Sometimes Rooibos overpowers everything else. In this one, the flavors find a perfect balance. We weren't expecting to like this one, as my wife had previous unflattering experiences with rooibos tea. This one instantly became one of our favorites, and a shelf staple.
A little soapy but that could be just my nose. Best caffeine-free Earl Grey option I've tasted yet.
This is our evening favorite. The Rooibos is hearty and the Earl Grey flavor is robust, making it perfect with a splash of cream. It's a lovely tea to wind down with at bedtime.
I really did not know what to expect mixing rooibos with earl grey but in my opinion it was a winning mix. I really enjoy rooibos for its natural sweetness & earl grey for the citrus bergamot flavor. This tea is great iced. For people who enjoy rooibos & earl grey, don't be afraid to try this tea. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. For a little extra character try the rooibos honey they sell. You can sweeten to taste. This honey is richer and darker in color & flavor than ordinary honey you get at the grocery store.
My husband has had to give up caffeine and this has made it possible for him to easily skip his fav earl grey. Wonderful bergamot and smooth rooibos, I love it in the evenings and he drinks it all day.

This smells divine!!! Like a very citrusy, bergamot tea. The flavor however doesn't seem like an Earl Grey to me. I do pick up mostly on the Rooibos first and the bergamot second. Just okay to me, not worth repurchasing.
I make my own Chai every morning fresh spices. I use this instead of black Earl Grey. Wonderful.

This is another fabulous tea! Earl grey is always good. But when you couple it with the soft sweetness of rooibos it becomes even better. It goes down so good and makes the whole room smell wonderful. Definitely a keeper!

Earl grey is one of my favorite teas, so I was excited about trying a Rooibos variety. This tea has the classic flavors I expect with earl grey tea. It is also caffeine-free. I will order this tea again.
It is okay. A nice way to have earl grey if you can’t have caffeine at night. But black tea varieties are way better. But as stated before, if you can’t have black tea a night, good enough earl grey.
This was a flavor combination I wasn't sure would work - But it did. The flavor of the rooibos combined with the citrusy earl grey actually made for a really pleasant cup of tea, and before I knew it I'd brewed and finished off my last cup.
