My first rooibos. When I opened the bag and got the first whiff I thought, “Oh h*ll no!” But I persevered and the results were marvelous. Strong smelling but delicate when brewed with just a hint of almond. My next purchase will be plain rooibos—I’ve just got to drink the real thing (I only wish I could do it sitting in South Africa!).

SO pleasantly surprised!! I love almond, but had to stop caffeine. Adagio doesn t make a decaf almond black, so I ve gone without. I ve had red tea here or there and always disliked it. But I now live with a fellow tea drinker and thought Even if I don t like it, maybe he will. Turns out my worries were irrelevant. I LOVE this tea. The red may even be better with the almond than the black. The almond black was a little heavy and the tannic flavor would sometimes show too strongly, but the red doesn t do that. The soft, mellow flavor blends perfectly with the low, sweet almond flavor. I ve already had a cup a day and will absolutely buy this again my next purchase!
I added only 1 teaspoon for the two cup teamaker and the result was an excellent tea. It was sweet with almond flavor.

I love almond flavored tea so I gave this a try, its very mellow almond flavored, it doesn't jump out at you. Very mild and nice with a rich color and you don't need alot to make a cup.
A delicious rooibos tea (my wife swears by this one). The almond flavor is there but it isn't too strong. On the whole, nicely balanced.

I really like this Rooibos. It has a nice subtle almond flavor. I steep it close to 5 minutes and add a splash of milk. Almost dessert. I am now on my third order. A very nice blend when you are in an herbal mood. Update on purchasing the teabags as opposed to the loose. The silk bags broke open each time I poured my water. I will continue to buy loose.

First of all, the smell of this tea is absolutely amazing! I really can’t think of a better type of tea to match with almond, so this is definitely an excellent blend. I only tried it hot, but I really think that’s the way to go with this one.
Rooibos almond has a strong almond aroma, almost like marzipan, and the flavor holds up. I've been alternating between this and rooibos caramel to punch up other tea - I love a little rooibos in my black tea, whether earl grey or chai or plain, and this is a good addition. It's not quite as universally delicious as the caramel flavor, but it was a good change of pace.
We are obsessed with this tea. Everyone we introduce this tea to falls in love with it as well. We spend so much money at Adagio buying this tea and the Chestnut black, which we mix together to make a divine concoction. We mix in honey and soy milk and it feels like a luxurious drink every morning!

I like this tea, though I find the almond flavor a bit intense. But a workaround is pairing it with another tea, which seems to help!

I first tried rooibos while visiting South Africa and loved its interesting flavor. I also love the taste of anything almond-flavored, so I tried a sample of this. Out of the bag, the almond smell was STRONG, and I worried the taste would be overpowering. But after brewing, the almond flavor was very mild - just a light aftertaste. It was pretty tasty hot, but wasn't as appealing as it cooled down. I don't know that I'd buy a whole bag of this, but I'll keep the sample size around for when I want something different for dessert or on a cool day.
This tea has an intense almond scent and flavor. I like it with half and half for a mellow taste. Also very useful for mixing with other flavors.
