Just returned from Africa. This rooibos exceeds what I was drinking in southern Africa.
Savory almond with the bright, sweet taste of Rooibos herb. Smooth and almost marzipan sweet, soft finish.

Just returned from Africa. This rooibos exceeds what I was drinking in southern Africa.
Nice marzipan like flavor. Good to drink in the evening as a dessert tea!
This is probably one of my favorite teas I have ever tried. Smoothing, yet delicious.
I'm not crazy about it alone, but I think it would be okay mixed with another flavor--I just haven't found the right fit yet. The almond taste is pretty strong. It's pleasant, but a whole cup of it just falls a bit flat for me.
Fantastic! I'm a big rooibos fan and a big almond fan, so this was the perfect pairing for me.
It has a WONDERFUL smell--definitely almond, with those wonderful nutty and vanilla undertones, and very smooth and a litty woody, like any good rooibos or honeybush.
This is another one I enjoy using in blends and was happy to find it is a wonderful cup on its own
This was a very disappointing tea. I loved the Almond Oolong, but wanted something caffeine free. Since I like Roibos, I thought I'd try this. This does not taste like almonds at all to me. The flavor is acidic, bleeding into bitter. Very disappointing.
A nice nutty, naturally caffeine-free tea. Nice for later in the day.
Wasn't sure about trying the rooibos. I fell in love with this rooibos almond. My new favorite afternoon/early evening tea! So smooth and just enough sweetness for me. Will definitely keep this one on hand!
I'm not super fond of the almost medicinal taste of this tea.
A standard in my routine. I love anything almond and rooibos is another favorite... This is a lovely late night tea :)
Although I do like this tea, I prefer others like honeybush vanilla instead. I do like the almond flavor, though.
I wish there was a category that was better than GREAT...having a nice cup of this tea now and it is lovely.
exceptional flavor but the grind is a little small and filters through to the tea even in the finest of strainers.
I can't say enough about this tea. It's amazing. The flavour is gentle and smooth and soothing. This is my go-to tea in the evening. I use to think I was a fruit tea (think Celestial Seasons) person, but this tea has made me a convert to nut teas.
Pretty good, it reminds me of the cookies from Asian restaurants. I tried it both with milk and without. The almond flavor is a lot stronger without, but the creaminess the milk lends is nice.
Nutty and a little sweet, but not overpowering. Smells great out of the bag as well.
I continue to be blissfully pleased by Adagio's wonderful rooibos blends, and this one is no exception! Surprisingly sweet and just a little bit nutty with a taste that is very much like fine marzipan. In fact, a good friend gave me some marzipan balls for Christmas, and I think I will enjoy a cup of this with one of them. This has definitely gone on my list of favorites, and I intend to use it in a lot of future blends.
I was very happy with this almond rooibos. I wasn't expecting such a strong almond taste, which was a nice surprise. Does not have an artificial taste like many almond flavored tisanes.
Super almond flavor! It is a very good flavor, but much too strong to drink by itself. I like to add it to unflavored rooibos to get a more subtle flavor. It is also really nice to add to blends in small amounts.
One of my top teas from adagio, blends well and finishes sweet.
really great quality rooibos tea, and perfect amount of almond flavor
I was hesitant at first because the smell of it threw me off, but I added some cream and sugar and it tastes delicious!
This has become one of my primary go-to teas! Delicious and warm in flavor, sweet enough to satisfy any mild cravings and always a hit when I offer to guests.
The tea leaves were so fine that they were difficult to keep in the infuser. Additionally, it seemed overly sweet.
Excellent Tea! I will be ordering again. My granma loves it!
I didn't taste a lot of almond flavor but this tea did have a nutty taste.
Subtle and earthy. A pleasant treat for winter and the cold season.
This tastes like a slightly sweeter version of the almond oolong. I'm not as fond of it as I am of the oolong, but it serves it's purpose in a blend to add a different flavor.
Great smell, but the taste of almond doesn't really come across in the brewed tea.
If you like marzipan or almond cake, you'll enjoy this mellow yet satisfying rooibos almond tea. Caffeine free and delicious, especially with a touch of honey!
I'm afraid I'm not much of a fan of the almond rooibos. It was smooth, but I think I'd prefer it in a blend, rather than alone.
I like to switch to caffeine free drinks later in the day and I'm glad to have discovered a good Rooibos flavor on my first try. People in the office said it smells like Marzipan. I'll take their word for it. Smells and tastes nice. I usually use Stevia (sweet leaf) and enjoy this just about every day.
This blend has one of the smoothest mouthfeels I've tried from Adagio. It's on the sweet side, and there is an oddness (not bad) from the flavor of rooibos. This is definitely a confectionery marzipan almond taste more than a real nutty flavor. It's a part of one of my favorite blends, Felix Felicius and I hope to use it in my own blending soon!
This was the first rooibos flavor I did not enjoy. I usually like strong flavors, but the almond flavor was overwhelming. It smells and tastes like I'm drinking almond extract. I recommend Hazelnut Honeybush. you'll get a sweet nutty flavor instead of a weird almond aftertaste.
This smelt soooo amazing in the bag, I was I heaven! Unfortunately it didn't taste as great as it smelt. I will try it again by adding some more leaves and steeping longer. It was very weak and I had such high hopes based off the scent.
I was pretty unimpressed by this tea - the almond flavor was super fake. It isn't bad, but it certainly isn't good. I will finish what I have, but will not be repurchasing.
Yummy! A very nice alternative to the usual vanilla rooibos. My only complaint is that this tea is very fine, so you need to have a good fine mesh strainer for this one.
Opening this pouch was like opening a bottle of Amaretto. The smell is deliciously sweet, though I see how it could be a bit overpowering for someone. The taste is very good, it's very full and you can definitely get the almond. It's good on its own or mixed with others.
My absolute favorite rooibos Adagio has to offer. Like a melted marzipan candy. Warm, smooth, cozy.
both me and my husband love this this tea which i sweet enough and so yummy it doesn't need any sugar. my favorite.
This one is a keeper when I am in the mood for the marzipan-like subtleties that are well-blended with the rooibos. It is a versatile tea so I can enjoy it sweetened with a touch of honey or just by itself.
I'm still trying to get used to the almond because I love the smell it incorporates. There's something extra intoxicating about this, with a little less of that 'shell' taste you get with the regular almond.
I was surprised at how much I hated this tea. The smell alone put me off pretty bad, but I tried it anyway and what do you know, it tasted just like it smelled. The flavor didn't taste like real almonds, it tasted very artificial. I'm not a big rooibos fan in general, but I don't hate it, and I could definitely taste the rooibos part of this tea--that's not what I had a problem with. The 'almond' flavor was completely overpowering and really, really bad. :(
I am normally a big fan of almond flavors, but this didn't do it for me. On its own it left a strange aftertaste in my mouth, but it was pleasant enough to drink with sugar and milk.
Wavered between 'good' and 'okay' - is definitely better than the rooibos peach, though, which earned an okay rating from me, so good it is. It smells better than it tastes, and can be a bit overpoweringly almond-y when brewed up, although the almond flavor does work well with the rooibos. I prefer blending this one with the rooibos caramel or rooibos vanilla - it works very well as a blending tea, and a caramel/almond blend is actually quite nice, as the almond helps balance out the sweetness of the caramel.
This tea is great. It has a smooth flavor. My girlfriend really likes it.
Needs to be made with a little bit of milk. I don't like the taste by itself, much better with some in it. Full-bodied. Slightly heavy aftertaste on tongue.
I enjoyed this tea. It brewed to the strength I like, and the almond flavor came through.
