I enjoyed this cup hot and will have to try it iced next. Very strong aroma from the pouch when opened. I used 2 tsp for 12 oz water. The aroma smoothed out after steeping. Pleasant right before bedtime.
Nice tea is overrated. Krampus brings bold birch-beer notes and playful spice for those who proudly live on the naughty list. A little wild, a little sweetâjust like its drinker.

A tasty tea year round with zero caffeine so we can drink it after dinner in the evening or anytime.
What a novel and tasty tea. I love the root beer flavor and being able to have it in a guiltless form. It works iced as well as hot. It's a bonus that it's caffeine free.
If you love root beer, or birch beer, and the carbonation can be too much for you, this is your tea! The honeybush adds the necessary amount of sweetness, while the vanilla flavor smooths things out and add a bit of creaminess. Try it iced, or cold brewed, for something special in your cup!
Funny name for this tea because Krampus is a demonic figure who is the counterpart to St. Nicholas
However I love the root beer flavor in this tea
Well, never have I ever liked rootbeer. But something had me want to try it. I was pretty surprised how much I enjoyed it. I think it would make a great iced tea too.
This is an interesting blend that smells amazing! The birch beer flavor and licorice are more pronounced. This is good hot and iced.
An interesting spiced tea for the evening. Mixes will with valerian root!
This is a good winter tea but I'm learning I'm not super into chicory. However that's a personal preference thing. I think others will love this tea.
The birch beer and licorice flavors are delightful. I added a teaspoon of honey and it brightened the overall flavor!
This is really weird. Tastes like drinking warm, flat rootbeer. Not a flavor I really would go out of my way to reach for again, but I'm glad I tried it!
I'd say 4.5 stars so rounded up. I've tried SO many 'root beer' teas from other companies and haven't cared for any of them... too bitter, too weird, too ??? I LIKE this one. It's not typical, but it's not overly reliant on added flavoring, it's honeybush instead of rooibos, it's 'birch beer' flavor instead of root beer flavor. It's pretty good to me. :)
WOW!!! I really love the Krampus Tea. All of my favorite flavors in one cup. I must buy more before it sells out.
This is an interesting herbal tea that reminds me of root beer. I love root beer and, so far, am enjoying this tea hot. I will cold brew it next and update my review.
I never expected to love this tea. Licorice and I are mortal enemies, and I've had nothing but negative experiences with root beer flavors in tea ( much as I love root beer). When I received this sample originally as part of a holiday game I actually scoffed at the possibility that I might enjoy it. Holy cow it's GREAT. I bought another bag and am hoarding it like Scrooge McDuck. It's all balanced so nicely that I actually appreciate the licorice- it sits further in the background and blends with the root beer flavor which is natural and delicious. Give it a chance - or send it to me!
I absolutely love this iced. Wish I could order larger bags. This reminds me of sarsaparilla, just without the carbonation and that’s perfect as I have to avoid carbonation.
Good stuff with moderate .caffeine. I made it by seeping 1.5 teaspoons of tea at 212 degrees for three minutes.
This tea is wonderful on a chilly winter morning. I add a dash of milk but its a wonderful tea even without the milk.
This is very good! Loved the birch flavoring- the root beer scent and taste is comforting. I would like this flavor in a year round tea.
This tea was an instant favorite. It’s remarkably nostalgic, capturing that classic root beer profile with a perfect balance of spicy birch bark and a smooth hint of vanilla.
A great holiday treat. Sweet with a little spice. Smells great goes good with milk and mixes well with Chai.
Big birch beer and licorice taste. I like both so this works well for me. Unique in the grand scheme of Adagio teas I have tasted. I get wintery vibes from this.
Wonderful root beer scent when I opened the package. Which carried over into the cup. If you like root beer you will love this tea. Smooth in the mouth with a slight tingly almost minting (there isn't any mint in the Ingredient list) light aftertaste. Holds up well to second brewing too.
I love this tea! The first smell to hit you is wintergreen, but not in an overwhelming way. The taste is warm, with a pleasant wintergreen aftertaste even after the third brewing. It's reminiscent of birch beer more than root beer.
If you enjoy root beer, this is a nice herbal option to try. I added a bit of sweetness to balance it out. The honeybush was a nice choice, however, the flavors leaned more red rooibos and I don’t enjoy red rooibos at all. Cheers!
This one is so good. Smells like root beer, and the licorice makes it settling to the tummy.
