Nice berry aroma upon opening the packet. Once brewed the honeybush blends together in a perfect match with that light berry flavor.

UPDATED 9-4-22: Today's CommuniTEA is Honeybush Wild Berry. Upon opening my packet, I think I had a little bit of everything. The only difference today is that I used garden herbal honey. I ironically also finished my bag of this just 2 days ago and I must say, I definitely still recommend this tea! Love it!

ORIGINAL: I brewed my Honeybush Wild Berry hot with extra raspberry leaves, strawberry, and rose petals and some fruit tisanes honey. I think the extra strawberry made it a really weird color in the cup, and I was really surprised that, despite adding extra rose petals, I couldn't even taste them in this tea; however, this tea is SUPER good and I really, really enjoyed it. Doesn't even taste like a honeybush tea, but it's still great. Very fruity. I would highly recommend this tea!

Honeybush Wildberry

Recommended steeping instructions: 5 min @ 212°F. I steeped according to the package directions.

This tea smells strongly of sweet, almost cloyingly sweet fruit, that wasn’t quite identifiable. Upon first sip, while still quite hot, I tasted a faint fruit flavor. This is a pleasant tea, but it tastes a bit like fruit jello when the jello has been warmed up. It also leaves that kind of a faint aftertaste. Still it was enjoyable enough. I would drink it again if it was offer, though I don’t think I would search it out. 3.8 stars because I think people who enjoy sweet fruit tea might enjoy this blend. 4 stars from me.

I made this as an iced tea. I wasn’t really able to identify any specific berry and it actually ended up tasting a bit like grape.

This was a lovely lightfruity tisane, over ice on a very hot desert day in late summer. I wished I had a larger packet.

UPDATED from 6/25/21: Honeybush is a delightful tisane, with ZERO caffeine, and a warm, full flavor. I have many blends already with this as a base. Adding berries just makes it more fun. The CommuniTEA packet smells very fruity. The tea steeps into a rusty golden color. The flavor is so mild, however, the fruits don’t really come to life until adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz). Now it is a delightfully, full bodied, sweeter fruit tea. Good to drink iced, as well. Only downside: only good for one steep. (5 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).

It wouldn’t be an everyday tea but a great occasional treat.

I wasn't too impressed with this blend, very bland with a faint berry flavor, and even the flavor of the honeybush was hard to detect.

If you're looking for a berry forward tea, this is by far my most favorite one Adagio offers. It delivers a full berry flavor with every cup. Over 2 years of ordering this tea and it's still our favorite

This one is very good. It has a deep red color when brewed and the flavor of the berries was really good. Good one to cold brew/ice.

This is delicious, not quite as fruity as I like, but paired with 'Jack', I really enjoy it (with a bit of sweet cream).

I like the honeybush wild berry tea. I enjoy tasting the berries in the tea. So far, this is among my favorites.

New favorite! I got this tea to expand on my non-caffeinated options and it is wonderfully fruity with warm undertones from the honeybush.

This is a really light tea. Even brewed 2 tsp per cup for 8 minutes, the berry taste is quite light. I don t taste the honeybush itself, and the berry flavors are pleasant, nuanced without being too tart. Flavors seem a bit more noticeable when the tea is cool, but almost unnoticeable when hot. I find that these leaves produce a beverage more like infused water than an actual tea. In fact, I actually like using this to infuse into cool drinking water - this produces a lightly flavored and refreshing beverage which matches my expectation for a slightly flavored not-quite-tea beverage. Overall, it is a more pleasant sip than the berry teas which are so tart they could be lemonade, or those with an artificial aftertaste. Just don t expect a strongly flavored tea, or else prepare to use 1 tbs per cup. @adagioteas

This one is very potent. I tried mixing it with vanilla and did not like that. It is ok with lemongrass, but very strong.

★★★★★

Sweet, fruity with a little tartness. Perfect for ice tea

★★★★☆

This tastes like a fuller-bodied, less astringent version of the Forest Berries black tea. This is good as a standalone drink, whereas, for me, Forest Berries works better added to other teas. The triple berry flavor here is the strongest. I cannot taste any rose, so your mileage may vary if you were wanting that flavor to be more prominent.

This was one I tried as I'm trying to find options for non-caffeinated teas to drink at night. It was okay, but not one of my favorites.

I don't remember off-hand how long I steeped this tisane, but I do remember that I followed the instructions on the package. I decided to get this one because I like the Honeybush Apricot so much. This one is just as good. I think the honeybush might be the ingredient that balances this out so nicely. As the tea cools, the various ingredients seemed to become prominent. Wonderful!

So I got this because the honeybush banana nut was sold out, and I don't regret it. This is full of berry. Like someone smacked you in the face with a charcuterie board of only berries. Its fantastic

The tea blend itself is very pretty to look at :) It's soft or 'mellow' and not bitter, astringent, sour for a berry tea. It had a light aftertaste of something like frozen yogurt or sorbet - it'd make a great 'dessert tea' in the evening. 10/5 if I could rate it that!

I love berries, but am not a great lover of the tartness of hibiscus so I bought this as an alternative to the herbal berry blends that are a bit hibiscus heavy. I was not disappointed! It smells like a fruit snack and brews to a soft, orange-gold color. It has a nice general berry flavor, none of the individual berries coming through more than the others. There's a gentle, sweet woodiness from the honeybush, and a very mild floral note from the rose petals. Delightful hot or cold!

I think this will be a new favorite along with the green rooibos bonita. This was my first time trying honeybush tea and the combination of berries with the tea made it a yummy cup of tea. I tried my first cup with no sugar to see how the flavors would come through. I then tried the tea with a squirt of liquid monk fruit sweetener. Served both ways it was still a good cup of tea.

I did not like this tea. It tasted like cough medicine to me. I had my boyfriend try it and he agreed. It was hard to swallow.
