I think honeybush teas are going to be added to my caffeine free stash because this was delightful. Sweet, fruity and yummy both cold and hot. And it didn't make my mouth tingle like the red rooibos does.

really nice fruity blend; nice change of pace from the tartness of hibiscus that you usually find with berry blends. Sweet enough without sugar, but flavors popped with a little sweetener.

Berry delicious cup of Communitea! Nice aroma and sweet flavors. I followed the directions on the packet and detected no bitterness.

Very good. It reminds me of a hibiscus tea, both in color and taste. Heavy on the strawberry and blueberry. It's fine hot, but I understand why you might want to try it iced.

Fruity herbal that doesn't have a high tartness from hibiscus. This tea is still a bit 2 tart for me.

Although the rose and fruit are a bit much for me, I gave this full stars because my kids absolutely love this one hot or iced.

The fruit flavors come through, blueberry and strawberry especially. No tartness, just a very pleasant cup of tea.

What a pleasant surprise. When I smelled the tea, I wasn't sure I would enjoy it. It smelled too much like perfume. Luckily it tasted awesome. Nice berry flavor. Enjoyed it hot and can't wait to try it cold.

This tea has a natural hint of sweetness. It gets an OK rating for me. Itโ€™s not fabulous and itโ€™s not awful.

Updated from 5/3/23: I still love this as an iced tea, cold-steeped or left in a pitcher at room temperature for a few hours. It smooth and just delicious. I don't love it as much hot, though, and think some of the other berry teas from Adagio are better-suited to hot steeping. That said, this one is still a go-to iced tea for me.

Itโ€™s no secret I love the berries in general, and forest berries in particular. So wonderful to find a blend I can share with my little ones at bedtime that makes us all smile. So good hot or cold. Definitely buying the big bag!

This is a good strawberry/blueberry tea that doesn't have hibiscus. I prefer to drink this iced and plain.

The scent of this tea is amazing! I would use this as sachets if I could! The rose is subtle, taste wise, and the berries are just heavenly. I have to stop myself from opening the tea bag and even gobbling up the tea leaves! Delicious!

★★★★★

I loved this! I have enjoyed Berry Blast for years and this may be my new favorite berry tea, hot or cold!

★★★★★

all around good tea, my go-to 'before bed tea'. I like steeping rooibos longer that recommended 5 minutes though.

wonderful tea blend, just the right mix of fruit and floral. Will be a new staple tea in my cabinet

Oh wow I've finally found it! A fruity herbal from Adagio that has a robust flavor without primarily being either spice or citrus. Strong berry flavor, but the honeybush backbone gives it the base it so needs, to keep it from tasting thin or watery like some other fruit-based tisanes. I'm definitely going to need more of this.

Great as a stand alone tea, However it really shines as a mixer with strawberry dream and forest berry for a truly Berry flavorful cup of tea

This is a favorite in our house. Pairs well with lemon honey. I enjoy this at any time of day and so does the rest of my family.

The addition of honeybush to a berry mix adds a nice depth to the flavor compared to the fruit-only herbals. I quite like this one and will probably get it again at some point!

This was a nice tea. The sort of tea I would serve with breakfast like French toast, or pancakes. It has a pleasant berry taste to it which comes out even more with a drop of lemon juice. The most important thing though, is my partner (who dislikes tea) actually quite liked this one! He even asked me to make it again! So this one definitely gets a thumbs up from me!

This is such a great tea, I love it with sweetened with maple syrup. It reminds me of a drink I make using fruit and berries that are not always in season, so this is a great alternative.

Fantastic tea. It tastes fruity without being overwhelming. You can taste the different fruit components.

Amazing! I got a sample of this and had to reorder it soon after! This is the tea that made me realize how well the light and sweet flavors of honeybush pair so well with tart fruits

This fruity tea is bombastic and full of life- a perfect pick-me up in the morning to wake you up. It has the general taste of berries, complemented by the warmth and vanilla flavors of the honeybush. The apple is on occasion a little overpowering, so make sure your scoops are equal!

This was a very pleasant cup warm. I will be trying it cold brewed at some point.

Update: Cold brewed this tea this time. It was so good.

First, I wasn't paying attention when I ordered this that it had rose petals in it. So, I did pick out all of the rose petals from the entire sample packet before trying it. The smell is amazing but the brew was very bland (and no rose flavor from the petals I removed). I tried this both hot and over ice. As far as berry flavor, it will take a lot to top Berry Creme Compote for me.

The berries mix well together, but you can also taste them individually. It's nice to drink both hot or cold too.

We are obsessed! I've been a rooibos fan, but haven't had much honeybush tea before this one. It's smooth and sweet, with just enough tartness from the strawberries & raspberries to balance the rest of the fruit. I drank it hot, but am excited to try it iced as well. It's on the list for a full-size buy as soon as our sample bag is gone!

I've been loving several of Adagio's honeybush blends and it's always nice to add extra caffeine free teas to my collection for those days I'm needing something a little more gentle but still delicious.

This has a wonderful woodsy honeybush taste sweetened by the berry flavors, which come across prominently

This tea work really well as an addition to a black tea for iced tea. Just enough flavor to boost a black tea but not overpowering. I usually sit mine in the sun all day.

I love the way this tea tastes it has a nice sweet flavor and some tartness from the berries. My only critique would be that it needs to have slightly more berry flavor.

Communitea Reviewโ€”Maybe my envelope was missing some items, I love the banana honeybush and the blueberry pancake honeybush. This one was unimpressive. Would not have again based on this tasting.

This tea is good but not great in my opinion. You can definitely taste the honey flavor, and the berries to me are sort of generic. However, it is good! I'm just not sure I would buy it again.

My first thoughts - it tasted like cherry / strawberry chapstick. Added sweetener and it still reminded me of chapstick. I don't hate chapstick but wasn't expecting to taste it in a tea. Probably won't purchase this one.

I cold brewed this tea to bring out the fruit flavors. This was a refreshing sip but I prefer the more fruit-forward herbals. Maybe some sweetener would help.

I enjoyed this tea despite not being a big fan on of berry teas. This tea has a nice sweetness on its own but is also good with honey.

I love honeybush teas, they are so versatile when using them for a blending base. This tea, blended with berries, is no exception. Strawberry and raspberry flavors are dominant in my cup, with a subtle hint of rose petals coming through. Smooth and caffeine free; another delicious iced tea.

In the bag: Most of my packet is honeybush. Five apple pieces. A single rose petal. Two tiny bits of red berries.

On the nose (pre-steep): Soft medley of berries. It's hard to pick out individuals, but blueberries are clear. Undertone of sugar.

On the nose (post-steep): Berries have become muted. Hint of the soft wood of honeybush beneath.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Almost no berry flavors at all. If I tasted this blind I might guess it's plain honeybush.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener brings back a hint of berries, but not much.

Opinion: An okay blend. If you like plain honeybush, then it's for you. I liked the soft berries on the nose and am sad that they didn't make it to the tongue.

Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 โ„‰. ยฝ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

Its color reminds me of autum, it smells very nice.

195* for 5 mins.

Split 8 oz into 2-4 oz portions. Hot and Cold

First taste, no additives. It has a natural sweetness to this, so I'll use less sugar than typical.

Hot, I added cream with the sugar, and its berry good. The honeybush gives a soft, warm, smooth mouthfeel. The flavor of the slightly sweet honeybush blend welll with the berries. Not at all overpowering. This is a beautiful herbal blend. Yep, 4 oz wasn't enough for the hot cup. But I'm looking forward to trying it cold too.

Cold, without cream, it was a bit woodsy for me. So, I added a splash of cream to it while cold, which balanced that woodsy taste. I enjoyed this one much better hot as the fruity flavors, while mild, were more prominent. Cold, it tasted mostly of the honeybush.

I'd drink it again, but I wouldn't buy it. Might blend with it. Then again, who knows, honeybush may eventually grow on me.
